SHMACKIN! Driving through HWY-5 weekly I stare at the row of trucks. We stopped today and...My god, I've never had a grilled cheese punch me in the face and sit me back. Like I'm about to drive home quiet with the radio off and everything. First off, The guy that helped me with the dreads. Excellent! Superb service. The grilled cheese was perfect! Crispy, toasted buttery edges and center. The mushrooms were sliced uniform and had a heavy presence! Not lack of mushrooms what so ever. Everything held together with a hard cheese pull and garlic herb seasoning. Something as simple as a grilled cheese if often made horribly. I can't praise this one enough! Garlic tatter tots were crispy, covered in garlic aioli, garlic bits and parsley. My family stopped eating what they got and went in on them! Lemonade is my vice. Every time I see lemonade on the menu it's mandatory and I'm glad I went for it. Perfect! Tart, fresh lemon and just the right sweetness! If you're reading this and are a fan of grilled cheese. Stop. I came across Oozey B's while wandering the food truck plaza waiting for my order from another location. Took one look at the menu and knew I'd be ordering at some point this weekend. The first problem I ran into... coming to a decision on which one to actually order! (The mushroom, turkey pesto and the bacon jam all 3 sounded amazing!) I decided to land on the bacon jam sandwich and garlic tots this time around... and decided my next time I'll do the mushroom sandwich with the tomato bisque. (Yes- already planning my follow-up visit!) I used a delivery service, so when I opened the door and was hit with the aroma of garlic, I knew I was going to be happy. :-D The garlic tots did not disappoint, covered in minced garlic and seasoning, with the perfect crunchy finish. The bacon jam sandwich was a nice balance of sweet and tangy with what felt like a bit of a smoked undertone. No regrets this afternoon! IT DEFINITELY SMACK!!! I recently visited Oozey B's Gourmet Grilled Cheese and enjoyed the most incredible Turkey Pesto, The Mushroom Melt, Garlic Aioli Tots and Strawberry Lemonade. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted, with a golden, crispy, exterior and a soft, chewy interior that complemented the rich, melty cheese inside. The addition of turkey brought a savory depth to the sandwich, while the pesto added a vibrant, herby flavor that made every bite an absolute delight. It was the ideal balance of flavors and textures. The Mushroom Melt was equally impressive. The earthy mushrooms paired perfectly with the creamy cheese, creating a comforting and satisfying bite. Each mushroom slice added just the right amount of umami, making it a unique and memorable flavor. As a side, I had garlic aioli tater tots, and they were the perfect accompaniment. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the tots were elevated by the rich, garlicky aioli dip that brought a delicious kick. Each tot was full of flavor and had the perfect crunch, making them a must-have alongside the sandwiches. All in all, this meal was a masterpiece of gourmet comfort food with elevated flavors. *I don't know how he did it, but the bread and tots were still crispy the next morning when I went to put them into the airfryer to reheat- they weren't soggy! The service was not only professional but the chef/owner was also down-to-earth, which felt really refreshing. Oozey B's is so much more than a food truck...It's an experience. My husband saw a review online and really wanted to try them out. I had no idea we were stopping until he pulled in, but he knows my love of grilled cheese. I asked him to grab me a classic sandwich but a quick search online showed something about a "blueberry and brie" and I quickly got out of the car to change my order because, whatever that was, I had to try it. Chef Bryan graciously explained to me that this was a soft launch item he had tried out but that it was still in development and he wanted to change the brie to goat cheese. I think I let out a squeal of happiness because my absolute favorite cheese in the world is blueberry goat cheese. He told me that it wasn't really on menu but he would make it happen and I felt so taken care of! I don't remember the last time I was so excited for food! I also ordered seasoned tots and my husband ordered the Tot-chos. Chef B was just getting set up for the day and he advised us it would be a bit of a wait but we were happy to do it. Later, he realized he did not have the mixture of goat cheese and this man closed down his food truck to go home and get it for me. If there is a level of service higher than this, I have never experienced it. The food we were served was more than worth the wait. The tots were perfectly crisp and golden on the outside with a soft, tender interior. They were seasoned with just the right touch of flavors to enhance the delightful crunch without overwhelming its delicate texture. In other words, best tots ever. My husband LOVED his tot-chos and eventually I was able to persuade him to share a bit with me. The meat was boldly and fully flavored and even after the drive home, the tots were still crispy. The sandwich he prepared for me was so delicious. Savory and sweet with a dreamy, creamy texture. It was so exquisite, it sent waves of delight through my being, leaving me in a state of euphoric bliss, so much so that I didn't even see him approaching to check on how I liked the sandwich because I was closing my eyes with each bite trying to savor each moment. Chef B is obviously an experienced professional and we were incredibly impressed with his innovative approach and skill level. He is one of the friendliest, warmest people you will ever meet and he really cares about his customers and his art. This man deserves a Michelin Star! I highly recommend Oozey B''s to anyone in the area and even if you're not in the area come anyway because it is worth the trip! I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu. read more

I'm so glad I found Oozey B's Grilled Cheese. I arrived at his food truck just as he was setting up. I was able to order a Tot-chos and was handed a little pager and I decided to wait in my car in the a/c to cool down from the heat. When my food was ready Chef B personally delivered the food to my car. That is great customer service right there. The Tot-Chos were so amazing. The tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were seasoned just right. The meat was full of flavor and the added toppings made it so delicious. The best Tot-Chos that I have ever had. The prices at Oozey B's are very reasonable and the portions are great. I look forward to my next visit to try some of their grilled cheeses. read more

I was so happy to see a food truck at the River Islands Farmers Market. I love cheese and trying new things so decided to stop here for lunch with my friend. I had the mushroom grilled cheese, along with the garlic tots and peach lemonade. The mushrooms added a meatiness to the sandwich and were cooked perfectly.
