Worst experience ever. The guy arrived and went to work right away. Off that bat, he seemed like he didn't care and was in a rush to get to another job. Ended up damaging my brand new door, door frame and the lock was installed crooked. He knew he fucked up and tried to act like it was all minor. When he pointed out the damaged door, he said my door was brand new material that he's never seen before. All crap! Not true. It was damaged because he didn't center it and it ended up breaking off a piece. With that being said, he offered a small discount and told me to go to Home Depot for the wood glue and it was an easy fix. When he rekeys my door lock, that also didn't work. To wrap things up and make it worse, he didn't even have anything to clean up the wood shavings. Left my brand new house filthy with debris inside and outside. Total garbage service. At the end of all this, I had to call another company to come out and repair what he did. Not sure how this company has 5 stars but this was a total disaster and crap of a company. read more

When I got stood up by the locksmith who was supposed to stop by, MX Locksmith stepped up same day. He replaced the locks and door handles on my front doors (2), my back door, door to the garage, and the door in between my 2 car and 1 car garage. He recommended a different style lock on my security door too. That'll come later! The cost for all these replacement locks and rekeying were quite reasonable. He also displays his sheriffs card so it's cool to know he's been background checked so he won't be making his own personal key to make a sneaky visit of his own! Everything was done beautifully and in a reasonable amount of time. I will call again when I upgrade my security door lock. Definitely recommend this company. read more

I just moved and wanted to change the locks pretty quick. They were able to schedule me for when I wanted. The technician showed up exactly when he said he would. 5 new locks took about 30 minutes and the work was done as you'd want.. just right. service call fee is $59. $20 per lock to re-key and one new deadbolt was $29. The technician took my card when he was done and I was all set about 35 minutes after he showed up. Professional and easy to work with. The other guys wanted between $600-$900 for the same job.
