Michael is nothing short of A-MAZING! He has been tweezing, and shaping my brows since I moved to Chicago in October 2001. When I first moved to Chicago, my brows were "so thin" - and he was awesome in helping me shape and design a new brow as they grew in. I won't let anyone other than Michael touch my meticulously groomed brows - and its been close to 16 years since Michael created my new look! But our relationship has grown beyond just being my brow specialist - in 2005, Michael was the master behind my gorgeous wedding makeup. I LOVE Michael! Anytime you leave his salon, you feel your absolute best:) Not only is he amazing at brows and make up, he is just fun to be around. I've hosted bachelorette parties at his salon, hung with friends while we have him work on us, and had him flown to Cincinnati for my wedding. Michael applied my mom's and my make-up for my sister's wedding. He did an absolutely fantastic job. We are so grateful to him for helping us to really shine on such a big day for our family. Michael is beyond brilliant when it comes to his brow services. It took awhile to get used to that fact it was tweezing vs waxing or threading ...but let me tell you the difference is beyond amazing. He is meticulous in shape and design. He takes his time and really crafts a masterful brow. As a male I find that so many places tend to overdo the brows...however Michael really takes his time to shape and design a masculine brow that is proportionate to my face and look. Michael Meyer of "MY brows MY makeup" is a wonderful make-up artist and eyebrow specialist, and I would highly recommend him as your bridal make-up artist. He came highly recommended to me by a friend who had him do her bridal makeup and her wedding party's makeup as well. During my trial-run about a month before the wedding, Michael listened to my concerns, designed the look I was going for on my wedding day, and along the way explained the modifications we could make should I care to change my look for the wedding. He was immediately responsive when I confirmed our appointment for the wedding day; arrived a few minutes early to my hotel dressing room that day; and did a magnificent job creating that classic, naturally beautiful look for my wedding that showed so well in the photographs.
