BUYER BEWARE!! ** My Car Guy Auto Group in Springfield, Missouri. ** This awful dealership sold my family a 2015 Tahoe LTZ that their mechanic put the WRONG BALL JOINTS ON! My husband was driving the car down the road and our tire caved in. Fell right off. We had the vehicle towed to a local auto body shop who immediately informed us the incorrect part was put on and that our passenger tire was about to fall off as well. We have paperwork provided by the dealership proving that their mechanic replaced the front ball joints before we bought it. At first contact, they tried to blame the place that inspected it for not catching their error. Then they tried blaming AutoZone because they gave them that part number for our vehicle. Blamed anyone other than themselves when 2 mechanics took ONE LOOK at the parts removed from the vehicle and could immediately tell me what the problem was. Then have the audacity to ask if we would have our vehicle towed back to them to fix it. Hahaha HELL NAW. Had we been going down the highway when this occurred my whole family would be dead. I'm good on their mechanics lack of skills. The mechanic also claimed to have changed our oil before we bought the vehicle. After having it changed myself at Take 5 I was informed my vehicle was overfilled and new oil was just added to the old oil. The vehicle had a check engine light on from a vacuum leak. My husband went ahead and changed that part only to find that the previous one was SUPER GLUED back together by their mechanic. We sent the estimate to have the vehicle fixed to My Car Guy from our body shop and gave them the opportunity to pay it in full $6500 before we ran it through our insurance company, that way our insurance company wouldn't need to sue them. We were told sometimes small businesses do not survive such a lawsuit. We didn't want harm, we just wanted what we were owed. They said their mechanic could do it for half that. More like he could do it half ass. Then we ran it through our insurance company and Moe (Hozell Moore) and I had come to the agreement that their company would pay the $2838 deductible (Which is less than half the $6500 he said his mechanic could do it for) he agreed to call the auto body shop and have that paid. Never called. Declines any of my calls. & won't pay a penny towards their negligence. So this is my first step in warning others. I have proof from Take 5, 2 Mechanics, paperwork from My Car Guy and multiple recorded phone calls with Moe & Collins. OK here is my 30 day review as I said I would do for 90 days. Now remember this is a 2006 hummer. We noticed when we drove it the oil gage was acting funny but it only did it one time. I did ask that they fix it before I bought it and I was told if I take it to their shop he would pay part of I believe he said labor but I can't be 100% sure. I declined. I took it to my mechanic and it costed me $400.00. So I go on my vacation and when we arrived at Graceland guesthouse we went to open the back hatch and it feel apart. Someone put textured black tape over the latch which was so rusted their was not even a top left. I then look closer and noticed the step rails had been painted I hate to see what has been covered up their. So I told the owner I was going on vacation because he said my title would be back while I was gone. He said he would call me when it got in. I never got that call. I called Friday one time each hour at 3 hrs so I called 3 times. I asked to speak to Curtis my salesman but not one person called me back. My temp tags expire on the 12th now that's today. Someone I talked to said the title would be there Monday which I know was BS cause that was veterans day. So Saturday I got a text saying it would be in Tuesday now today. A lady called my sons phone and said my tags will be here Wednesday. So I call this lady and speak to her. I was under the impression my title was being sent to Jefferson city. Honestly I don't know why I thought that. As I'm talking to her I find out they sold me the vehicle without having the title which is completely against the law. She said it states this in my paper work. I will read it and if it does I will let you know in my 90 day review. But they dam sure never spoke about the title not being in their position. As I'm talking to her I repeat what she told my son. And when I said so my title will be here tomorrow she said what I then informed her tomorrow is Wednesday then she said she told my son it could be as early as Wednesday but no later then Thursday. What she did not know is my son has auto record and thar absolutely was not what was said. So I asked what am I supposed to do between now and Thursday because I am going to get a title penalty and could get a ticket which I've never had. She said I work in the mechanic shop I just signed the title and mailed it. That's when I find out she mailed it to my house. Why...when I was told I would receive a call to pick it up at the car lot. So I'll read the paper work and call the DMV in Jefferson city about saling a vehicle without the salesman having position of the title. Also I have an appointment in December to have in interior electrical looked at because sometimes when you open the door one of the interior lights stay on and when you go to turn it off two more lights up then when you hit the button again they go to dim and do it again it might turn them all off.
