Now that I have used them multiple times I can leave a comment. I'd like to say I'm happy with their work from the time you schedule with Olivia she makes sure she is able to fit your schedule whenever you need. I usually give them a week in advance notice to let them know I need someone out. Usually I get a crew of two people, they do try to stick to the same people but I don't mind that they alternate cos it lets me see how their other staff members are and different techniques of cleaning. I'm a clean freak myself but being so busy at work and travel a lot I don't get time to work on the house. The ladies that come out are polite and friendly and get straight to work once they arrive cos every minute is important to them. If you leave cleaning products out they will use those, however they do bring everything themselves. The best part I love is that I can smell a clean house once they have left. So far the cleaning ladies that have come here clean exactly where I want. Under the bed, clean the taps, sinks and little areas that accumulate dust. Sometimes they even neaten up the bed and fold the tissue inside the tissue box making it pretty and presentable which I think is very sweet. They vacuum the dust first, or all the hair that's on the wooden floors which I think is better than sweeping so at least when they mop the floor it's going to be clean. Honestly when I clean that's what I do first always vacuum and then clean because sweeping doesn't get to all those smaller areas which you can use a little nozzle to vacuum. If you have a little request they will gladly help do that. If there is something you see that might have not been cleaned or they missed a spot tell them right there they will be happy to make up for it. But I hardly have to do that since these professional ladies get it right the first time. Overall I want to recommend this company, great team every here takes their job seriously and professionally. My mother used to have her house cleaned with this company for almost 4 years (every other week, and at one time once a week)... Each time Olivia sent over a crew the quality kept decreasing. This is a HORRIBLE cleaning service, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They have ruined sheets, carpet, walls, baseboards because of their THOUGHTLESSNESS. Yes, their price is cheap, but as they say... you get what you pay for... Olivia and her crew should be embarrassed to have this company. I contacted My Cleaning Lady to service a house for a tenant to move in. It's a large home so I was willing to pay how ever many hours required to have the home in move in ready condition. The crew was there for 3.5 hrs.- that was the time period they allotted, I didn't have a restriction on the time. I wasn't there as they cleaned but specifically requested all the kitchen appliances -fridge, microwave, & stove be cleaned and all cabinets be wiped down (based on the other reviewer) . If that was an extra cost - fine by me. Just clean it. I showed up after the crew had left to find that the kitchen had not been touched at all. The items I had specifically requested hadn't been touch. The next morning Olivia confirmed the crew had not cleaned it & was resending them to take care of it. Okay I thought, forgiveable. I couldn't be there again due to my own schedule but thought considering it was a resend they would be mindful of that & pay extra special care to detail. Upon going to back to inspect it the second time it was like adding insult to injury. It's like they just used a sponge & plain water & took all the dirty funk that was in the fridge and wiped down the counter with it. I was MORTIFIED!!! Once again I contacted Olivia. She was very nice and offered to send a whole new crew a 3rd time but the homeowner & tenant were not inclined to use another crew that was from My Cleaning Lady. I asked Oliviia if they wanted to send a manager or somebody to take a look of the issues so they were aware of the kind of services their crew was providing but I wasn't take up on the offer. I wasn't offered any kind of refund, if even for a partial refund. I'm just so disappointed that the quality of their service didn't match the customer service I got over the phone. I understand house cleaning is a dirty job. I have nothing but respect for the people who do it. But as a property manager, I can't do my job and send a company out that I can't trust to clean when I'm not there. The total fee for services was $180. It was a $180 lesson for me to learn not to use this company again. read more

Well, as you can see it has been over a year since my last review. Still I am so impressed by their exemplary customer care! I was recently very sick, having had two unexpected heart surgeries, so we suspended their service for a couple of months. Too much hospital time to plan when I would be home to let them in. Upon resuming my service they have, once again, been right there for all my cleaning needs! If you try them you will be so satisfied! They came highly recommended from a friend of mine and it has been the best thing I've done for myself and my home/family since moving to So Cal!! With my busy schedule, it's difficult to find time to clean my home, but if I let the dust and dirt gather, my allergies go crazy. So I decided to browse Yelp for a cleaning service and found MCL. I'll admit that I was wary about them at first because of the 3-star average over 5 reviews. However, I called a few of the other listings and I liked their pricing the best so I figured I'd try them out. Based on my own experience, which is having them regularly clean my 1000 sq ft home, I'm satisfied with their performance. There isn't much detail to share in this review--the cleaner arrives on time and does a quick but thorough job. MCL's affordable quality service has been a big help for me! On a side note, as stated on their website, MCL supports The Let It Be Foundation founded in honor of Karla Rosen. Though I never met her, I remembered that Karla was a friend of a friend. I have used maid pro two times, first time was pretty good second time was just OK. I received a call from the rep two weeks later saying I owed extra money because I had them clean the inside of the oven and fridge. Last time I checked cleaning appliances was part of the job and if it was going to be an additional fee she should have told me not after the fact. If you want a quick surface cleaning they are the right ones for the job but if you actually want someone to get in there and clean beyond the surface either do it your self or don't go with Maid Pro in La Verne. read more

This used to be a very good service, and I used them quite a bit. For the last few times though, they have become pretty arrogant or perhaps hateful towards me? Last time I called in May, they were not available for the whole month to give me an appointment. I called them again to clean the house today. They were supposed to come at 10am, but did not show up. The agency rep told me that she is unable to reach them to give me some clue when they will be coming. On the top of that, the price they are giving me has skyrocketed. I wasted several hours since the morning de-cluttering the home in preparation for their arrival, but now have to waste several more, cleaning it all by myself. They are very unreliable. My instinct is to imagine that they are just showing a total hatred and contempt toward me personally. read more

I am a property manager who has several years experience in addition to growing up with parents who are property managers, therefore I have seen the proper condition a property should be in before an occupant moves in. The representatives who helped provide a quote and arrange for the cleaning are very courteous, however that is were the pleasantries end. I hired My Cleaning Lady twice now. The first time was about a year ago and during the cleaning the glass top stove which was only three month old was severely damaged. After contacting the company I was told that the cleaning professional who serviced the house responded with " It was like that before." After several pictures and emails I was informed that the cleaning would be free of charge. Even though the stove was damaged I appreciated the effort to comp the service. As My Cleaning Lady conducted themselves professionally by standing by there work I decided to try them once again at another property. I was told they would arrive between 12-1 pm. They arrived 1:30 and to my dismay were three elderly women. Now cleaning is very hard work which is why I hire others to do this kind of physically intense labor. I didn't see how three elderly woman ranging from probably 50 to 65 were going to accomplish the task and do it well. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I should have stuck with my gut. The house was still in poor condition after they left. Mind you the property was very dirty to start with, there was a certain attention to detail that is still expected, provided the house was vacant and I provided detailed instructions. All the surfaces were simply wiped down but no effort to scrub or clean anything more that a simple swipe of a cloth towel. Heavy dirt remained in the cabinets, and grime around the drains of the sinks...etc. After discovering this I took a small sponge with with scrubbing side and took a couple passes in some areas to see how difficult the dirty was. It came up with only a few swipes and a damp sponge which leaves me to believe they simply didn't care to put forth the minimal effort. The biggest problem I see with this company is lack of managements quality control. The company provides only an over the phone quote and never visits the site, furthermore they never check or supervise the workers. They simply hire people call them private contractors while never providing oversight or quality control. In the future I will hire someone myself from craigslist or the penny saver and save half the hassle and money. read more

I have been using My Cleaning Lady for quite some time with little satisfaction. My daughter was also using them and she cancelled her service in June due to the sloppy work. The furniture was never moved, not even a small little coffee table , the floor and wall behind it was so dusty. I vacumm my living every other day because my grandkids have asthma so its not like i have a months worth of dirt. Yesterday was the final straw I came home after a nine hour day on my feet in surgery. First thing was the floor was sticky, then the one dish I had left in the sink was still dirty. The living room was okay. I went upstairs to find that NOTHING had been done at all. I was so upset. I contacted the company and all they did was argue with me. I cancelled my service and recommend that YOU STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They are terrible cleaners. read more

I have used my cleaning lady on and off for the last 3 years. I recently used them when I was moving out of my apartment so I could get my deposit back. They showed up on time, and did a great job. I love My Cleaning Lady, I have used them for over 14 yrs (even before they became My Cleaning Lady). They are prompt, polite, and courteous. They don't mind do the things that I don't like to do with my schedule. They even will suggest things to do, like cleaning my Curio Cabinet (I just remove everything myself). I contacted a company called My Cleaning Lady to hire their services. At that time they shared their company policy with me which was "if you cancel or modify the day of a $25. fee will be charged to your credit card" I agreed to the terms now cleaning personnel to clean my home over a 3 hour period that would arrive between 1-3pm. Then at 2:11pm on the day of my service I was contacted by them that they were modifying our original agreement. I challenged their policy by suggesting that it was one-sided. If I cancel or modify I would be charged $25. I asked as I customer what is the penalty for them if they cancel or modify particularly with no notice. The office worker became irate by yelling at me and being disrespectful to me on the phone (She was in a rage) . She became argumentative. Unwilling to argue with this scheduler I said, "Goodbye Olivia". Also, my doorbell was ringing and I was preparing for a very important meeting. Nonetheless, this is the snowball effect which occurred as a result: 1.) My husband took a full day off of work to be home to receive the cleaners. 2.) At 1:59pm they left a message that there was a modification in the schedule 3.) At 2:11pm I challenged the policy and all hell broke loss 4.) Without any notice out of spite she cancelled my workers 5.) The 2 workers actually drove up to my home and left. 6.) Once I was informed that the workers would not be coming I asked to speak to her Manager 7.) I contacted My Cleaning Lady for over two hours but, received a busy signal 8.) Unable to get anyone on the phone I actually went to their location at 3:45pm 9.) The Office Manager was even more irate and disrespectful by yelling and agreeing with the Scheduler 10.) I was appalled so I called the Owner 11.) He agreed with his front office and said our conversation was toxic because I explained the situation by expressing my frustration. 12.) He never offered to make the situation better 13.) Once I told him I was going to write a review on Yelp he became a problem solver, cry baby, and a skilled negotiator. 14.) This company SUCKS 15.) If you have any regard for human mankind please don't use this company. They made my life a living hell for 48 hours. Sunshine Cleaning Service came to my rescue. This referral agency hires cleaners with or without experience, we have used them and some of the cleaners have been okay but otherss are pretty bad. They do a bad job cleaning the house and often they have bad attitude too. I have cut some of them using un-appropiate cleansers on wood and marvel surfaces as well as using the same wash cloths they use to clean the bathrooms, floors, and kitchen. read more

I have used My Cleaning Lady Service our of LaVerne for over a year now. Olivia at the office is very helpful as I have re-schedule my service on multiple occasions due to personal conflicts. I am always contacted the day prior to the scheduled cleaning to confirm the appointment. The staff members arrive on time and start cleaning immediately. They are always open to requests I have made to focus on particular areas. I have had various staff members come in during the past year and each one is friendly and ask questions if they have a concern. I have recommended them to a number of friends and family.
