    Really, 0 stars. Where do I even begin? We rented an inflatable from them last year, and more or…read moreless had a good experience. They were very late and barely made it in time for a party but the inflatable was great. Then they didn't pick it up for two or three days. That was fine with us but I can see how that could be a problem for others. They said it had something to do with an employee being out sick or something. All fine. This year, I emailed them twice and called three times before I finally got someone. Honestly. That was going to be my last call, because I figured they must have gone out of business or something. My guess is they're headed there. They booked our inflatable, but said they'd only arrive at 1, an hour before our party. That made me uncomfortable, but I figured as long as they came.. They didn't. At 11, they called and left a message saying they'd be late, like 2 or 2:15. That wasn't ok - our party was at 2. I called back, and the woman who answers the phone- Daliah Sutcliffe, I believe- gave me this whole story about some other customer who wouldn't give back their inflatable. Ok...that's a problem, but not mine. I explained that kids were arriving at 2, and driving a truck through a party of preschoolers would be less than optimal. They couldn't come any sooner, she said. They were at the other end of the state. By 2:25, still no inflatable. I called and left a message. No return call. 2:45, still nothing, so I called again. Daliah was SO RUDE and WILDLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wanted an ETA, (at least another 20 minutes!) and she acted like I was being unreasonable for being upset that they had not arrived. She actually called me "entitled" and said that this wasn't their fault- it was because of their other "entitled" customers. Ooooookaaay. Actually, if you pay a company for a service, you are entitled to receive it, so sure, I guess I'm "entitled" like the rest of the customers she so resents. I paid a $100 deposit with the expectation that they would provide the inflatable for our party. I don't even have a right to ask where they are 45 minutes after the start of the party- 1 hour and 45 minutes after they said they would provide it?! At that point I hung up. She called back and told me she was canceling my order. I said that was not what I wanted - I have a party full of kids here in their bathing suits waiting for their water slide. She got rude again and hung up on me. For real. Because I asked that they please deliver the service they promised. To little kids. I called back and asked her to please not cancel, I simply want the slide. I'm disappointed that they've already missed half our party and completely appalled at their horrendous and rude customer service, but I still need the waterslide. First she said fine then she went on about rude customers again, and I said "Well, actually, you've been very rude. You just hung up on me." And she denied it! Then she went on again about how she was going to cancel me. Again I said please don't. She hung up on me again. I called back one more time, and said the same thing- the kids were promised the water slide. You promised to bring it. Please come. She would not let the conversation resolve in any sort of satisfactory way. Seriously , I don't care if she wanted to hang up on me again after wishing a pox on me and all my progeny, I just need the conversation to end with something to the effect of "yeah, we'll be there. Bye." I said "are we good? You'll come?" And she would say something like "I don't know! You're over here complaining about us and we should just cancel." It was just the stupidest, rudest conversation I've ever had with any customer service or business person in my life. I left that phone call with no idea whether they were coming or not. They did not. I have to say our kids handled it really well, but that's incredibly disappointing. Their whole party was based around the water slide. When our guests left, my 7 year old daughter wanted to tell them how disappointed she was. I figured by this time, they must be closed, but sure, she could leave a message. Daliah picked up (maybe the number is her home?) so my daughter said her piece. Afterward I got on the phone and said I was incredibly disappointed and expect that they will, at minimum, refund our deposit, and OBVIOUSLY we and the parents of every kid at this party will not be doing business with them again. She said, "I already did, and that's fine, because I put you on our do-not-rent list." Ha! I guess she really got the last laugh there, huh? So I guess I'll never be able to have two dozen little kids immensely disappointed by Jumpin Jupiter again. I couldn't possibly say enough about how epically terrible Jumpin Jupiter is. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they were late and flaky last year, but apparently that is just how they run their business. You are warned. Take your business somewhere else.

    One of the worst experiences I've had with rentals, especially being an event planner…read more.... I went through this company as it was referred through my auto shop (I know, weird right) and right off the bat, they gave me a discount. I rent a tent, tables (rectangle and circle) and 35 chairs for $250 for my 23rd party. I was super happy because it was an amazing deal! I called, set the date and was explained that they would come Friday, set it up, i would have it all day Saturday then they would pick it up on Sunday. I paid $75 deposit and that was that. Speed up a couple of days, I cancelled due to complications but ended up rebooking the same plan but just at a different location and everything remained the same. Fast forward to that Friday before my party, i called around 10:30 and asked when would they be coming to set up and was told by 2..... 2 comes and I get no call....3...4...5! 5 comes and I'm like nope, I'm going there because it should've been here 3 hours ago! I drive to the spot to find a weird location and the driver comes inside and says they're loading and coming to drop off like right now. Cool, I had no problem so I left. Come Saturday of the party, the tent held up well against the rain! No complaints there. But during the party, I received a charge of $192....remember i told you she only quoted me $250, I paid $75 so the remaining should be $175 but no, she charged and failed to advise me of how much after tax so I let it go.....now comes Sunday and the stuff is still there....Monday! Stuff is still there so I called and asked AGAIN when are they come and she said within 4 hours.....I am now writing this review at 9:36 on Monday night and the tent is still there.... Neverrrrr using this company again! And it sucks because I work for a HUGE company who was issuing me to test them out for a future fundraiser and they literally have tarnished their reputation.

    I rented a dunk take from these people. They brought it and I paid them $400.00 for the use of the…read moreDunk Tank. They gave me all sorts of trouble when I asked for their insurance. Seems they needed an upgrade or something. That should have been my clue to run. The young guy who brought the tank was nice enough. He said, here is how it works. and he showed me the way that the vice grip mechanism works. He said, if it comes loose, "Crank down the snugging screw". m The next day, we filled the tank and set to making a day of it. This Dunk Tank was going to dunk our Parish Priests to make money for the school. Immediately, the seat was giving way and the young priest that was first up, kept going in, without warning. I started to call the company, and called the number that I had been given for the delivery person. I called over and over, never getting an answer. I texted and it was over an hour before I got a response. The problem, is that I had to shut down the dunk tank because the Young Priest hit his head, bruising it and feeling as if "(He) had been hit in the head with a baseball bat." Me: I sent messages to Mike by accident. The dunk tank has a broken piece and does not work. It does not hold anybody except for somebody who is 110 pounds and that's not gonna work for me. I need something that actually works and I paid to have it and for some reason, the person who is in the Dump thing first he got dunked twice and then every time he sat onto the seat it would just let go when I looked at the mechanics of the ice grip. I noticed that part of it was worn down and it is in need of repair. I shut it down because it is unsafe. We need to speak about a refund. Please give me a call at 860-501-1427. The pin that touches the screw to tighten up the vice Grip is worn down to the point where it does not close all the way and hold weight anything over about 110 pounds just pulls it open and pulls through. Also, if you try and close the vice grip when nobody is on it or there is nothing pulling against it. It automatically just pops back open. It's a problem. It is unsafe and I shut it down. About 30 minutes into the morning that was two times that somebody went and paid to throw the ball and dunk one of our priest. I shut it down and nobody is using it and it is just sitting there and it was a $400 rental and all I got from it was two $10. I'm sorry two5 dollar Throws at the dump tank. The vice grip needs to be replaced or you need to rebuild the vice grip. I want to find out if we can take care of this dunk tank situation in an amicable way. I made $20 total on the dunk tank. Because there was not proper instruction, and no matter how I tried, the seat would not hold. One of the Priests almost hurt himself, as he was trying to get onto the seat and it just gave way. If it been anyone beside a young man, I believe we would be in a personal injury suit. The $100 that you charged me above and beyond the normal rental cost, is what I am willing to leave on the table for you. The $300 for the normal rental, is what I am looking for you to return. If this is the case, we shake hands and walk away without any hard feelings, even though I lost the ability to make $1,000 from the dunk tank. I told the gentleman who came down on Saturday, "please take it now. I will drain it, then you can take it." I did not want him to have to make another trip. I have reached out to these people over and over. They will not call me back, they will not send me the $300 rental amount (which is $25 more than the $275 that it is listed for). I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANYONE IN RHODE ISLAND AGAIN. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. I consider Okees to be as crooked as anyone I have ever done business with, and Rhode Island has laws that make going through the courts, very expensive, if not prohibitive. The Owner did eventually show up. When he did, he yelled at me for his POS, Dangerous Dunk Tank. I call it, "The OKEES Septic Tank". Never give them a cent!
