My mother has used Morgan to frame several things over the years. This was the most complex and best work yet. These are my grandfather's and his brother's WWI medals. It was a challenge because none of the medals were the same size, and we needed to clearly show which belonged to whom. Morgan kept adjusting the spacing and height until everything felt right. You wouldn't believe how many layouts we considered, given how natural it looks in the end. The colors don't come through accurately in the photo, it looks ten times better in person. Finally, while custom framing is never cheap, this ended up being less than half of what we were quoted elsewhere. My family couldn't be more pleased. read more

I've been coming here exclusively to frame my pieces. Damon is ridiculously detailed and as an artist his understanding of color, texture and complimenting the piece of art you would like to frame is spot on. It is a little more expensive than some other shops but the end result is always something to be proud of. My experiences have always been fun too. We bounce ideas off each other and he always has nice options to reference. Occasionally they have really cool art exhibits at the frame shop. I have been tempted many times to take home a new piece but the space on my walls and my wifes patience have grown short lol. Give it a shot. If your a creative person you'll love the experience. If your experience with color, texture and design is a little short, trust the process and you'll still love the experience. read more

I've always been a fan of this framing shop located inside Corrick's, but they went above and beyond for me. Needed a print framed, hopefully at least before Christmas. They said they were swamped, but they'd do their best. Four days later, they called and said my print was ready for pick-up! Three weeks early! Turns out they've hired more staff to meet their commitments, and I got my print today in time to give it to my partner for their birthday instead. Five stars? They should have TEN stars! Another was an old woodcut, and the latest were a couple of illuminations. All the pieces were handled with extreme care and respect for their age and condition. We had a large 4' x 4' MoMA print framed. * Service: Pretty good. Open to discussing our options and providing quotes for each. At first, they were a little uncertain how large of an item they could fit in their foam core mounting machine. They were nice enough to attach part of the print that we had trimmed to the back of the frame for posterity. * Quality: We're very happy with the results of our framing. * Price: In line with other estimates we got. * Timing: They went past their original estimated delivery date by a few weeks. So glad to have found this place! I started at Village Frames because it was nearby. Big mistake! I had a difficult-to-frame print (a floater with a deckle edge). The guy at Village Frame was at a loss on how to float the print, and suggested I wait until the owner came in on some other day. (No thanks) Then he proceeded to pull the WORST mat and frame options! I grabbed my print and ran. But this is supposed to be a review of My Daughter, right?! WHAT a totally different experience! SUCH a relief! He was not the least bit thrown by having to frame a floater. I was encouraged. He pulled great mat and frame samples. I could tell right away he knew what he was doing. He took all the time I needed, and didn't rush the process even though another customer had come in after me. He called me when they ran into a snag, rather than finishing the job and telling me after the fact! The end product was excellent. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be returning. RUN!Save yourself the hassel!!These folks quoted me and charged me 1044.98 to fram a 32 x 32 picture.after a month and half,they call and its ready.I pick it up wrapped in plastic and get it home to unwrap and see its foggy!the glass is horrible and distorted!So I call them and they said that they would replace it ,after another week,they did replace with very reflective glass!!Its a numbered piece!Sooo I call again and sally says they will replace it again but it may be a difference in price!While I try to explain thats not cool,I agreed on a price and job and her reply was that I was yelling!I guess she felt the need to change up the conversation! Been over 2 months and still may have to go to Michaels!!!lolol.Save yourself the hassel folks!Oh and they prices are not worth the few dollars you save by not going to michaels.gas,time,phone calls,etc!! read more

Just picked up our framed print of the Mill Valley Arts Festival from 1998 and love it. It had some damage going in from being in our barn for the last 12 years but they were able to minimize that. They are a good fit for Corricks and we will be back. And a great price too. read more

I just picked up my second framing job from My Daughter The Framer and I couldn't be happier. Damon went above and beyond in framing both pieces, taking plenty of time to help me select the best matting and frames, and all for a better price than the competition. He has a great eye for arrangement and, for one piece, was willing to find a large, irregular sized frame that could be utilized quickly when I needed the job done in a hurry. I checked several other local places and no one else could accommodate my rushed deadline and their prices were much higher. I highly recommend these folks! read more
