We were told that the usual provider was not in today - what we were not told was that the ABSOLUTE best provider ever was about to walk into the exam room. Kristen Buchanan was like a breath of fresh air. For the first time when meeting with the provider, my granddaughter did not cry at all. She had a few tears later in the visit when she was given her shots. Even then, she only cried for a few minutes then calmed down. Kristen was so very kind and knowledgeable. She provided much needed information to my daughter for the next stages in eating, language and physical development. Safe to say, my daughter and granddaughter were completely at ease and had the best visit ever! Numerous numerous! trips to Urgent Care, she complained of headache, shoulder and backache, got hives on the inside of her legs, I asked to be tested for Mono he said no she needed a massage, I'm not kidding, unreal! took her to the ER next night, ER doctor ran all the typical tests, flu, strep, covid, told me he was going to test for mono, never did, came back and said all tests were negative but showed all signs of the flu, that there was nothing he could do and sent us home. She had been running a 101.2 fever, body aches and extremely tired. Called Banner to get in with new pediatrician and got Dr. Sarmiento, thank goodness. He immediately ordered a bunch of bloodwork, Mono and Valley Fever, chest X-ray, called me 2 days later and said "what are the chances she has both, that was why she was extremely tired and body aching so bad and the hives are from the Mono" started her on Fluconazole. That was January, she is so much better. He took so much time with us explaining everything to both of us. If I had listened to the Urgent Care and ER doctors I would have kept thinking she had the flu. I can't say enough good about Dr. Sarmiento.

Dr. Kennedy this other provider couldn't even be bothered to see my son because we were running 5 minutes over their 15 minute late window, are you kidding me! That did it.... She is absolutely lovely and our favorite thing about this doctors office is how caring, Dr Bansal is, and she is just one of those people that are like friends of the family. I am a single mother of three and if I have one kid there being seen, she always ask about my other children. She always remembers what my kids and I tell her what they're interested in. That alone shows she truly cares. This is her practice, there is no other doctors here doesn't matter how busy she is. She always tries to fit you in that day. One day she was fully booked but she said just come in we can squeeze you in between somewhere. Like I said, she's the only one there so she shows up everyday for her patients. Talk about dedication. Now let me talk about her staff. Have you been to an office where you were like, "I loved the like doctor, but the staff was rude or slow etc", not them. The front desk is always very nice, and tries everything they can to put you on the schedule. They always have a warm and welcoming approach w patients. We changed to this office about five years ago and I have never regretted that choice plus there are five minutes from my house right next to arrowhead Hospital so it's easy to get to hope this helps
