I placed the order online, scheduled pick up, and moved on with my life. Unfortunately, I received an email about 5 days before I was due to pick up the arrangement essentially advising that my selection was no longer available because the flowers wouldn't be in season the month of December. Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. The woman I spoke with did not try to upsell me and informed me that they removed the premium option from online because to her the price difference isn't worth the few extra flowers. They were also willing to print out a picture of a cardinal which has special meaning and included that with my written message. Upon delivery, I was surprised to find a butterfly added to the bouquet at no additional cost and they also added a dog paw print to the written message to give it a special touch. Suhay's Little Shop is amazing and staff were kind and helpful during every step of the process. Would strongly recommend their shop to anyone in the market for flowers in the Clarksville area.
