I went in today after seeing employees meeting at a gym today I went to for a Dexa Scan, Apex. I got a menu and coupon from them and it was on my way home. The staff were great, so friendly and nice and I didn't know I went there a year ago until I was doing this review! I definitely need help with my nutrition after a severe traumatic brain injury and cooking being very overwhelming for me and although I went to school and am experienced in health education, now it's one of my biggest struggles since my brain injury. I love Fit Foods for the affordable meal options with clear macros. I also receive 20% off for being an Orange Theory member, which is nice. Having said that, the sales team is THE WORST (and this is coming from someone who works in medical sales). They're on you when you walk in the door worse than a luxury designer store -- and they don't take a hint. I'm getting to the point where I may start being rude. Awesome place for meal prep and staying consistent with eating frequencies. No matter your fitness goals, I love buying food at this place. The options are always changing and the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I actually spend less on food at the grocery store than I do here. No more $800 monthly Costco trips. The meal shown in the picture is tenderloin with sweet potatoes which I highly recommend. I brought my husband a few days later and they gave him the full run down as well. I've tried many of meal prep companies, but I like the selections they offer and I love how they taste great. I would give this place a 3.5. I really like the idea of this and was so excited to get meals from here. I decided to do the 3 day plan where I got 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners and 6 snacks. The bonus was getting a discount for being an orangetheory member (limited promo i think). When I came in the two guys working were super friendly and very helpful and did a great job answering questions I had. The downside - the strawberries in my snacks already had mold by day 2!! UGH! so i had to throw away 2 of the snack meals. Also the other meals just did not seem to have ANY flavor. I had to add seasonings at home. I don't think I would do a 3 day plan again but I would consider returning and buying a few meals (one day at a time). read more

3/21/2018, Their sign now says "Ready Fit Go." I had the pleasure of trying "Eat Fit Go" at the Progress Ridge location last night. The concept is a simple one: healthy, high-quality food at a reasonable price, for people on the go. Chef-driven meals that are made fresh daily (in Portland, Oregon); never frozen, low sodium, high protein and allergy-friendly. And many gluten-free. Even the packaging is microwave safe. We were greeted at the door by a very knowledgeable and friendly young man who gave us a quick overview of the store. Large glass refrigerators on the left as you enter, full of fresh, packaged breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack items. All available in small/regular and large sizes, depending on how many people it will serve. All items are grab-and-go and ready to microwave. I tried the "Look Good Naked Salmon" ($8.50 for regular or single serving): perfectly seasoned salmon portion on a bed of summer squash, carrots, and onions. I was skeptical that the salmon would not remain moist in the microwave, but after only 2.5 minutes, it was amazingly delicious. I love that the container has all the ingredients listed as well as the calorie count: 320 calories for the regular salmon, 30g protein, 15g fat, 17g carbs, and 380 mg sodium (which is fairly low for a prepared food). There is even an "enjoy by" date but I was assured it's still good for a day or so past the expiration date. I was also highly encouraged to never to freeze the meals as they are made to be eaten fresh. In the fridge for breakfast the day I visited was a Classic steak & egg bowl: cubed beef, egg whites, & roasted garlic red potatoes; the All American bowl: chicken apple sausage, egg whites, & roasted garlic red potatoes. The All American also comes as a burrito: chicken apple sausage, egg whites, pico de gallo & cheddar cheese wrapped in a hearty grain tortilla. There were a few other items but those three stood out to me as possibilities I'd try. Lunch items included: salmon or chicken alfredo with gluten-free rotini; turkey chili; turkey meatball "zoodles": turkey meatballs on a bed of zucchini noodles with marinara sauce & parmesan cheese. The meal I definitely have to go back for is the steak cauli rice bowl: stir-fry beef, peas, carrots, edamame, onion, & bell peppers atop cauliflower rice. That would even make a great dinner meal. And yes, Eat Fit Go even has a classic mac & cheese gluten-free of course. Dinner items included gluten-free chicken parm, Look Good Naked Chicken (similar to my salmon), and chicken enchiladas (not gluten-free). They also have a number of salads, fruit bowls, yogurt parfaits, soups, and sweet treats. They have vegetarian & kids meals too. The catch is that meal selections rotate so you may not see your favorite meal in the fridge every time you visit. But trying new things is good! My only suggestion is that the prices be shown on the shelf like in the grocery store. Prices do range from about $7.00 to $12.00 depending on the item and size of the meal but I'd really like to know the exact price before going to the cash register. I really like the concept of Eat Fit Go, it's so much healthier than fast-food that isn't good for you anyway. Note: if you just can't wait to get home with your meal, they do have a microwave and a few tables in store so you can eat there. I love the concept- not sold on the food yet. This store is all grab and go meals on the healthy-ish side- perfect for busy people. You can also eat there if you like- they have a microwave and some tables. The staff will run you through the selection and answer any questions. So what's the deal? The food is boring. More often than not I drown it in rooster sauce. Healthy food doesn't have to equal bland, but for some reason they are shy with herbs and spices here. I'm not expecting a gourmet meal by any means, but with the entrees comparable to restaurant prices I expect a little more. The tortillas for the tacos got soggy and fell apart. I had some lemon ground turkey that tasted like sadness. The steak and sweet potato was boring. The breakfast bowl has seen better days. Probably the best thing I've had here is the fried rice- but again I was generous with the sriracha. I want this place to do well and will continue to go back in the hopes I can find something I like. PS gave them my email a month ago to stay "up to date" and have not heard anything from them. read more

I've tried the oatmeal and breakfast burrito and both were restaurant quality in terms of appearance, taste, portion size - and it's so much cheaper (thank you fit club!) and healthier. I've eaten other "healthy" pre-prepared foods, but have always sacrificed taste for doing what I know is good for my body. With My Fit Foods I don't have to! In addition to providing a great product, they're also people/customer focused. Skip the meal prepping! If you've been on the fence about trying it - please just visit the store. If you are looking to have your mind blown by taste at these places then you are delusional. You can only have a certain amount of expectation for a healthy meal that you warm up for 2 minutes. First, I believe any reviewer that has over 50 posts or so cant be trusted. Habitual reviewers usually are compensated somehow from what i have read or have some sort of issue. Also, large chain stores will do whatever then can to push down small Mom and Pop stores to help increase incremental profit loss. Sorry made me mad as all my friends and family rave about this place. Long story made short, great very high quality food has helped us lose weight. About 5 pounds per week. I have nightmares that this place may close as in 35 years never have lost weight without doing anything else but eating just health food. Healthy meal preps for busy people! My first visit was greeted by smiling workers who were really helpful in explaining what they offer. No pressure to buy or join any programs which I thought was a plus. This has definitely earned my business. On top of it all, the food tastes amazing! Definitely helpful for those who don't portion control. Instructions for heating, ingredients, and nutrition are on every package which is helpful if you're calorie counting.
