Very authentic sichuan, spicy, but not too spicy. Not pricey, and the portion is big. The service is awesomes, the guy help us order and also mix the noodle for us. Clean restaurant, a lot of food options, highly recommended

Glad to see a Chinese restaurant up in this area. We came for a weekend lunch and the restaurant was nearly full. We quickly looked over the menu and ordered a few items: Orange Chicken, Dry Fried Green Beans, and Mapo Tofu. The food came out fairly quick and piping hot. All the dishes were yummy and cooked well but my favorite was the Mapo Tofu, it was spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy. They serve it vegetarian style with no meat, which I've never had it this way before. While I understand the prices are a bit higher than other similar restaurants, I appreciate the quality of the food and can tell it's worth the price.

Amazing Sichuan restaurant in the Teal blvd plaza. As you walk in you are taken back by the decor and friendly staff. My son and I stopped by during lunch. I ordered the shrimp fried rice , huge portion with lots of good size bites of shrimp, I paired it with a Mild Stir fry with beef pepper, the picture says it all, what a tasty dish with a ton of pepper and a kick. Be cautious the mild still packs a nice spice punch. This is a must try dish. My son had the Chungqing spicy noodle, lots of noodles and flavor, great portion. Over all a little pricy but worth sharing dishes, the meat and veggies were good quality with a lot of flavor. We topped it all off with green tea! I would recommend you stop by, so much variety of different dishes, we are planning our next visit.

This place is amazing. I've been to many sichuan restaurants around and this one hits the spot. I just wish it was closer to where I live so I can go everyday.

Pretty good sichuan in murrayhill. Got some of the staples - spicy pork, kidney and liver and shredded potato. Both of the meat dishes were just ok. Potato wasn't sour at all and had to send back to get redone. Service was nice except they use really cheap containers for leftovers that leaked. Curiously the table next to us were given better ones

There are vegetarian options such as the dry pot cauliflower and stir fry mixed vegetables that I enjoyed. The mapo tofu was good, but I didn't taste much spice. I wouldn't recommend the fried vegetable noodles because the sauce didn't well with the dish. The serving of the rice bowl was disproportionate, and it is unfortunate that they don't serve a rice pot because it was unfair to have different amounts of rice scooped in a bowl. Similarly, they charge for a tea cup ($3) for a pot tea which is unusual for me because I'm used to restaurants charging for each tea cup or each tea pot. We ordered honey walnut shrimp for to go and it was the smallest portion of shrimp and rice that we've ever seen for $25. I didn't know that to go boxes could be that small. On the positive side, there is seating outside.

Flavors were good! There was too much corn starch in the spicy fish which I didn't love. The intestines was really good and tasted legit. But a little bit on the oily side.

food - on the pricer side compared to other sichuan restaurants in the beaverton/sw portland area. a bit salty for my tastebuds service - quick and friendly ambiance - causal

The neighborhood is missing out on traditional Chinese restaurant so I was excited to see this restaurant join the hood. Our family of four had lunch on Monday and it was open seating, no wait at all. The staff was courteous and prompt. The interior is vibrant and casual, plenty of interior seating. We ordered the beef broccoli, general taos chicken, veggie noodles and xiao long bao dumplings - all to be shared family style. The two entrees came with a side of rice. The chicken and beef dishes were consistent, nothing over the top and not awful, decent. The noodles were packed with veggies but had an unusual taste, no one at the table could pinpoint it. The bao came out piping hot, again it was average. The dipping sauce was not good. Maybe there are still figuring things out and I'll need to revisit after some time! I will say lunch prices were great!

Very bland food. Food was not even warm. Disappointing... it was very good several months ago, not now. Probably won't be back.

The food here is terrible. The orange chicken was soggy and the chicken tasted old. Flavor was off. Won't return.

Typically at most Chinese restaurants, especially fried dishes, you'll see a pool of oil at the bottom of the dish. This is not the case here, and their sauces also keep their oil usage to the minimum. The food doesn't feel as heavy, and they nail most of their Szechuan flavors well. Their service is always fast and friendly. There is a gentleman in glasses that is always happy to serve and answer your questions. He is always happy to pack your food for you to go if you have leftovers as well, which is a lovely gesture. They have very cute decorations inside, from lucky cats with fortune cookies in their mouths, or a painted wall with a Panda cooking delicious food. I'd steer clear from their soup dishes, most of them lack flavor. I highly recommend their Chopped Pepper Fish and their Jade Tofu items though. Very flavorful and not very heavy! Plenty of parking is available which is lovely for eating in Portland, do not let this spot be missed if you've never tried it!

There are booths where you order food to come cooked, and then the hot pot tables where you order the ingredients and cook them yourself. It's very interactive, and they have plenty of meats, vegetables, tofu, dumplings and noodles. You can choose the broth you want at the beginning and they'll bring out the pot. Each pot is split in 2, so you order one regular broth and then a spicy broth. They also have a veggie broth, which I really enjoy. You can grab things from the salad bar, and they have different sauces/oils you can take and add to your soup. You're able to really customize the experience. It's a fun little experiment you get to do with your friends and family. The space itself is busy with customers walking around and staff brining drinks and food, but it's not crazy. We joke that the steam from the soup is a nice facial treatment. Lol. You can end the night with an ice cream cone and lollipop in the waiting room. I've been a few times, and I will say the first time is overwhelming with trying to figure out what to do, but after that you get more confident and interested in curating a soup that's to your taste.

Once we were seated though, things went downhill. Only one person out of our four person table had done hot pot before, the rest of us were clueless. The server didn't bother to ask if we understood how to order and were super unhelpful every time we asked a question, kind of waving us off. Apparently you place an order and have to wait 20 minutes before you can place another order? What? I've been to kbbq plenty of times and have never been met with this delay. We got their original soup base and curry base. Both were mid. Not very flavorful until the very very end when we had finished cooking and were ready to leave. Maybe eating boiled meat just isn't for me, but I feel like everything was pretty bland and tasteless. The best part of the meal was the ice cream we grabbed on the way out imo. They gave us $20 off coupons randomly, said we couldn't use them that night. Probably a ploy to get us to go back, but not even with a discount like that would I go back. Straight to the trash. Save yourself and go to kbbq or the Asian buffet that's 10 min away. Disappointing night out with the fam.
