As I think many people are, I was kind of heart broken at the idea of sticking her in a class room full of other kids at such a young age. Ten months later I couldn't be more happy with our choice. The first thing that I noticed was that the staff was constantly down at the kids' level, on the floor, getting crawled on, hugging kids. It turns out that the staff at the Jordan center are pretty highly trained, the head teacher in our daughters infant class room had just completed her masters degree in early childhood education. They also have a very low turnover rate for staff and so I think staff develops real bonds with the kids. I am constantly amazed by the things my daughter is learning from being in this environment. The other day I asked her where her ears were and she got a big smile on her face and pointed. Her language and physical skill acquisition have been excellent and her social skills are outstanding. I loved our nanny but I honestly don't think we would go back to an at home nanny, I feel like she would really be missing out. In the mornings, my daughter will bring me her coat (which she in convinced is a prerequisite for leaving the house, no matter what the weather) and points to the door. She runs in to her class room happy and is smiling when we pick her up.

I prepaid for some hours ahead of time which I think is a great option that they offer. Since we have some hours still left, we definitely will be back!

We set up several tours, and decided on TLE, because we were impressed with the cleanliness, a clearly stated curriculum that involved both sign language and spanish, the bright, open, and colorful rooms, and loved how the owner took her time to explain how they worked, and what to expect so that we felt very comfortable leaving our son in their care. The staff is CPR certified, SIDS certified and have an Early Childhood Education background. They have indoor and outdoor areas for play. The outside area is covered and has plenty of equipment. Inside, they have a play room that looks like a little town with a slide for rainy days. We've been beyond thrilled with our decision. Each time you go to pick up your child, you have a key fab to open the secured doors, safety is big here. When you see your child in the classroom, the teachers always seem to be very involved. They don't sit back and just let your child play. Numerous times I walked in to the teacher holding my son, with his head on her shoulder, as happy as can be. This showed me she truly loved her job, and that he felt safe and secure in her arms. I also walked in to find her singing the wheels on the bus, as they danced and did hand signals, art time, and outdoor play. At the end of the day, you get a sheet that explains what your child did for the day. This includes the food they ate, and amount, their potty breaks, nap time, what they were learning that day, sign language for the week, anything needed from the parent to bring in like diapers or wipes, and their mood for the day. The learning section was always impressive to me. It is very detailed and my son seems to be ahead of the curve learning wise, which I can thank TLE for. As far as the price goes, it falls in line with others in the area, and the location is conveniently off of Glenwood Avenue, or the back way, Leesville Road. The owner, Ms. Jane has made this place what it is with love and heart. Jane knows every child and parents name, and has an open door policy. She can be seen in the classrooms, outside, and in the hallways. Having a visible owner who is involved is important to us. Being at TLE has made me feel like a part of a big family. Ms. Jane and the teachers very much love their children as if they are their own. Parents and staff are all a team, and the relationships built here are genuine. Obviously, I cannot say enough great things about this daycare. I have very high expectations when it comes to care for my son, which is why I felt the need to express my happiness here. I applied to My Girl Friday after a friend on FaceBook recommended this agency service. I almost immediately got a call back and Leanne set up an initial interview. Overall it was an amazing experience. I felt like Leanne really tried to get to know me as well as take time to listen to my goals and hopes for a family as their nanny. After the interview went wonderfully Leanne was always available to ask questions or even just talk to her about the process. She was very nice and understanding about anything and everything. Very shortly after she had several possible family options and would talk to me about which ones she believed I would fit best and would best work with my dreams and goals. First family I interviewed with was perfect! Leanne touched base right after the interview to hear about how I felt and if I believed the family was a right fit. For the next week or so she was very available to talk about the family and all the details upcoming in moving forward together. I was sent a contract and was able to communicate with the family and Leanne about all the different aspects to make sure everything fit both the family and my goals. We hired Margaret to find us a nanny recently, and we have been thrilled with the woman she found us. She sent in four awesome nannies for us to choose from and we actually struggled between two. This is pretty rare- agencies usually only send one or two, and if you're not a fan, they gripe about sending more. As mentioned, we have used a couple other nanny services in the area, and this one is far superior. They always have back-up nannies available for us if ours can't make it to work (even the best nanny gets sick), and they guarantee the placement of our nanny for a year. The owner is also actually reachable. Other agencies let your calls trip to voicemail and you wait forever to hear back. Margaret checked in after every interview we did (even if it was late in the evening) and has offered support to us that no other agency has. This company takes care of their customers. I went through My Girl Friday for an assistant. I'm a pilot, and I am gone much of the time, which makes it impossible to get "normal" tasks accomplished during the work week. I knew I needed some help with things, and didn't know how to go about staffing for it. My Girl Friday hired me an awesome, capable, and motivated assistant who helps me with laundry, dry cleaning pick-up, grocery shopping, and food preparation at the beginning of the week. She has shipped packages for me, and helped me shop for my niece's birthday. She's part-time, so I didn't have to sign a contract with her. The placement fee was very reasonable and worth every penny. I highly recommend this agency, and having an assistant in general. This agency takes all of the guess work out of finding a nanny. Austin (the owner) provides a personalized experience for each new set of parents by getting to know them and then finding them the perfect nanny. I tried again that Wednesday and I have yet to hear from any of them at Accentuate. They're NOT a good temp service and I wouldn't recommend them.

We searched high AND low, visiting several local child care centers only to be disappointed in what was available in Knightdale, until we walked into Cathy Lee's. This place, owners and it's caregivers are amazing. We had our child in their care from 7months old to the start of Kindergarten and she learned so much while she was there. They are a family business and truly care about the children. Any issue I ever had was dealt with swiftly and with respect for us and our child's best interests. I can't say enough about how great this center is!!! Occasionally we still call them to help us with child care now that she is older and has Teacher Work Days when she is out of school. They have track out facilities across the street! This place is GREAT!!!!
