I enrolled my almost 2.5 year old toddler a few months ago at My Gym. She absolutely loves it and is excited every time we go there! We have been doing both the Gymsters class (for younger toddlers up to 2.5 years old) and Terrific Tots class (for older toddlers starting at age 2.5 year). She enjoys both. I personally really like Terrific Tots because I like the structure and I think it's a great format to teach toddlers to be patient and wait there turn for the different skills they do such as forward rolls, climbing ladders, walking on planks/balance beams, etc. I have noticed a significant improvement in my child's confidence level both physically and socially in a short period of time. NO way a few months ago she would have climbed a vertical ladder or even attempted to hang from monkey bars. A few months ago she would have never told you her name when asked but now she tells everyone we meet what her name is (My Gym does circle time at the beginning of class where all the children say their names outloud in turn). My Gym also offers free play where the kids can just play (and the layout of the equipment changes every week). All the instructors are so great with kids. They have so much energy and you can tell they genuinely enjoy being around kids especially observing their interaction with my toddler outside of the class environment (for instance, during the free play, I see the instructors playing with my toddler and trying to make her laugh even though they technically don't need to). My younger one is only 7 months and still can't sit up by herself but will definitely enroll her when the time comes. read more

My daughter loves My Gym! Ms. Nancy and all of the teachers are wonderful! The teachers do a great job of including everyone even if your child is nervous about trying something. They never pressure anyone to try something they are uncomfortable with. My favorite part of My Gym is if your child is having one of their many "off days" and can't focus, nobody judges you as a parent. They never punish your child they do their best to redirect. If your child still can not focus they allow your child to do whatever makes them happy. Even if that means hanging in the ball pit the entire time. As a mom of three who has never had a babysitter or put my children in any daycare. My Gym is the only place that I trust to watch my girls while hubby and I go out on a date night. They offer parents night out once a month and my girls always have fun and I never worry when I drop them off. The classes are wonderful and they offer lots of different times. If you miss a class they let you make it up no questions asked. They also offer open play. I love open play because it's a great break for me! My daughter burns of energy while I watch her have fun. Of course you can always chase your little one around and practice those great skills they learned during class time. We love My Gym!! read more

My wife and I were very excited when we signed up our 2 year old daughter to this place and convinced a friend of ours to sign up her 3 year old daughter as well. Fairly immediately we started experiencing really bad customer service and flat out scalding of our child who was being a normal active 2 year old. In fact Ms. Nancy (the owner) would not let her participate in activities because she decided that she wasn't quite enough!! Are you kidding me! Ms. Nancy is a juvenile person and lacks any qualifications to allow her to run let alone own such facility where she can easily hurt such sensetive . Our friend had a horrible experience as well, her daughter got ill for a number of weeks and thus missed several classes which abiding by their make up policy our friend did every single time and kept the membership active. When our friend decided to use those saved up make up classes Ms.Nancy decided not to honor the make up policy and refused to refund, issue gift card for them or compensate our friend in anyway!!! This Nancy person is a terrible human being and seems to be money hungry above all else. We and our friend canceled our memberships immediately there after and I suggest you take your dollars elsewhere. read more

I have taken my daughter to My Gym since it opened in January 2011 after checking out another children's gym in Katy, and one in Houston. She was an active mobile 1y old (having been walking since 9 months). She is now an active mischievous 3 1/2y old. She loves My Gym, it's staff and Miss Nancy. If we miss classes for awhile she asks to go to Miss Nancy's house! My older daughter has also attended and enjoyed class, loves the staff and Miss Nancy, and always asks to go to parents nights out (what a shame we have to go out for dinner sans kids every couple of months!). I have to add that this is the only place we have left our kids for parents night out as we trust the staff implicitly. The facility is clean, the staff are well trained and lovely with the kids. The program is excellent. I have never been refused a make up class. I have been to class with shy kids, boisterous kids, and kids with all types of behavior (my daughters included). I have never seen or heard the staff be rude or derogatory to any child or parent. I have never seen them exclude a child. They are fantastic with my kids and their class mates. We are so excited that this My Gym has joined our neighborhood, now it is so much more convenient. I have always found the price and yuppy babble of these types of places offensive. It's major competitor, whom will remain nameless, literally sings the same 5 songs, has the same 10 toys and offers less in 45 minutes than my own house does. And, they sign you up for a contract $$$ for the privilege to come once a week! My Gym is much more movement oriented with plenty of slides, ladders, ball pits, forts, bubbles and even a zip line! I can see how children love this is the place. We just had a B-day Party for my 5 y old today. What a great time she had, as well as all her friends and their parents. We were pleasantly surprised by how great this place is. It looks small but there was plenty of space for everyone, We received lots of compliments from our friends about how fun it was. Granted, it is no deal either. But, if I am to choose between one of the two, My Gym wins hands down in every category. read more

We love my gym and all of the teachers. We have been going to My Gym for almost a year. My son is 2 and has recently been diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder. He is a sensory seeker. He simply can't get enough, of anything, literally! Those who suffer from Sensory Seeking Disorder, are constantly in search of ways to arouse their starved nervous systems. He is hyperactive and impulsive. My Gym is a wonderful place for him to play and explore. He is probably the most wild and active child in his class. The teachers are all SO incredibly patient with him even when he can't calm down enough to participate in the circle times, sometimes he is just running in circles when all the other children are sitting and participating. They all know that he needs a little bit more stimulation than most of the other children to be able to participate in the activities. Thank you My Gym and staff for being wonderful! read more

My whole family adores My Gym! My older son is now almost 3.5 and has been going for over a year and a half and my younger son is almost 2 and has been doing class for about 9 months. We are there for almost every Practice and Play (open gym which is 3x a week for an hour) as well as each of their classes. We love the staff and the kids ask about them the same way they do their friends. They are incredibly flexible and creative to help children of all ages and abilities develop and grow physically, emotionally, and socially. They have let us go to a class outside of our "age" range because they were "ready" for them - never once been said "no" to for any reason. We have brought many friends to My Gym as well as made many friends there. We have done a birthday party and camp there and will continue to go for a long time. We have been attending the gym for the last 6 months, and my son loves My Gym in Katy. We enrolled him when he was 15 months old so he had a chance to interact with other children his age. Not only was he socializing more with kids, but he learned how to climb ladders, balance on a beam, and hang on monkey bars all by the time he was 18 months old. I called around to other gyms in the Katy area but most were more expensive than My Gym. Also, My Gym Katy has 1 hour long classes compared to other gyms with 45-50 minute classes. And most importantly, My Gym also has 3 Free Play times during the week. Any member can attend every play session free. We are essentially paying $80/mo for 4 days a week. No other gym was able to beat that. As for the staff at My Gym. I love that every singe staff member knows my son's name. They are great with the kids and parents. read more

Our family has been attending My Gym for almost two years and we love it! On our first day there I knew we had found a place our children would love. Our twin boys look forward to attending class each week. They love all of the instructors! Attending My Gym has been wonderful for our family and we would recommend it to anyone! We have made many friendships with other families as a result of attending My Gym. The team at My Gym truly cares about each family. We have had to miss our scheduled class on many occasions and have never had an issue with scheduling a make-up class. When we signed up as members the make-up policy was explained to us and this policy has been the same since our membership began. My son has been going to My Gym for almost two years and we couldn't be happier. As an only child, he was a little shy when we first started. It took no time at all for him to gain confidence and come out of his shell. Now he can hardly contain his excitement and always looks forward to going! We attend Practice & Play, classes, camps and have just booked his birthday party there! The employees are really what make this place great:) They are so patient with all the kids and find ways to include everyone, even when the kids just aren't feeling it that day or are still getting used to the environment. The staff are very accomodating and you can tell they have your child's best interest at heart. I can't imagine a better place to have spent my money or my family's time. I've been at My Gym in Katy for about a year now, and I have loved every minute of it. My child had separation issues when we first started, but the teachers there have an amazing curriculum that helped my child overcome his separation anxiety. The teachers are so friendly, exceptional with kids, and always have a smile on their faces. Each week the class is different (different songs, dances, skills, games, puppet shows, etc.) so I know my son never gets bored. Somehow, the teachers there create a brand new gym layout every week, so it's almost like a new gym every time. The entire facility is extremely clean (I've even heard them say they clean the ball pit every week!). I wouldn't take my kid to any other place! Simply the best. read more

I joined my gym when my son was 3 yrs old, and he is now 4. It has been a good experience for him because it has helped him get some of his hyper energy out but at the same time my gym has been helping me, for example with simple listening skills. My son enjoys my gym because it is always a new adventure for him to explore. The employees their are nice, and more importantly attentive to all the kids in the class. I speak mostly with a sweet lady named Nancy, and she is really understanding whenever my son isn't able to make it to class, so that i can make them up. We absolutely love My Gym and would definitely recommend it!! We started taking our daughter when she was 11 months old, and couldn't be more pleased with the environment, actives, and staff. My daughter LOVES going and always excitedly yells "MYMO" (My Gym Mascot) when we get in the parking lot. The employees are the best part of My Gym. It's easy to see how much they enjoy working with children. They are very flexible and understandable with the crazy schedules of toddlers and it has been very easy to book make-up classes. We have been coming to my gym Katy for well over a year,& I only have excellent things to say about it. I have a very high-energy 2 year old, & he adores it! So much so, that when we pull in the parking lot-he says 'my gym-yeah! Clap, mama!' We love the instructors; he asks after Ms Nancy and Mr Garrett, & they genuinely care about the kids. I find them (& the other instructors) to be encouraging, patient, fun & they all really seem to enjoy their jobs. Hmmm, not sure how to take the two less-than-stellar reviews for the Katy, TX My Gym. My son and I have been going there for over a year and have nothing but great things to say. My Gym is a great value for the price, especially considering there's another gym for kids down the road that charges twice the monthly rate. Ms. Nancy has always been gracious and kind and her staff is very helpful. My Gym Katy's birthday are the absolute BEST!!! Ms. Nancy and her staff are amazing! I had my daughter's 4th birthday here this weekend and it was non stop fun! There were numerous games and activities and all my guest truly enjoyed themselves from ages 9mths to 80years old. They really made my daughters birthday so special and tons of fun. We stopped by this gym to enroll our daughter for some fun activities. Being new to the area we were concerned about finding a clean and enriching environment for our baby girl. This place was so clean and nice that I wish I had this when I was a kid. Nancy the owner was so great and accommodating. She has a wonderful attitude and kind personality. What a find, so excited to find MyGym, been going here since my son was 3 months and have no plan of stopping any time soon. The activities they do each week are not only fun but also help the little ones. I have been taking my 21 month old daughter to my gym for several months now and we both absolutely love it! All of the teachers are so welcoming and do a great job interacting and creating a relationship with her. I love that the design and activities are different each week so it keeps my daughter excited and engaged every time we go.
