I had my son's 1st birthday party and it couldn't have gone any better! The staff was amazing, they really kept all 17 kids very entertained ( ages 4 - 10). They teach them skills and show them new ways to play with the material every week, and they know them by name and always there to give encouragement and high fives! We had such a wonderful experience at My Gym Nanuet. My son is 3 and participated in Terrific Tots this summer with Coach Gigi and Coach Lara - they made a great team and my son adored them! He loved coming week after week! They are welcoming, friendly, accommodating and engaging. They seemed to go above and beyond to make my son feel confident and special. Plus the space is immaculate! And I loved how they switched up the skills, the equipment and the songs week to week but the core structure stayed the same so there were great opportunities for learning through that consistency. This place is one of the worst children gyms I have ever been to the male coach, Chris is disrespectful and does not seem to know what he is doing and it is super unsanitary especially the bathroom the seat is always left up for a child to fall in and there are so many safety hazards I have seen such a decline in this facility I do not recommend and so many of the "exercises" do not seem safe for children especially babies they can dislocate a joint or crack their necks from doing these dangerous activities that they are so pushy for you to make your child do. From the moment I walked in I did not like the energy from the owner..this place needs to be shut down for so many reasons the kids barely seem to enjoy it by the way they scream cry especially when they get "volunteered" to perform one of my gyms tricks It is like a circus read more

We joined the gym when they opened under new ownership in September 2024 and cannot say enough good things! Coaches Chris, Juliana, and John have been incredibly patient with all the toddlers in our class and after a few weeks, my son came to love them. The place is SUPER CLEAN! They have a "yuck bucket" for toys that went in your kid's mouth which are sanitized after each class. They learn a new special skill weekly. There are free open gym sessions for members a few times a week. read more

If you're looking for the perfect place for your little nuggets to use up all their energy this is the spot. Today I took my two year old for his first class and he loved it... I would like to add I am writing this review because he is currently knocked out from having so much fun #momwin .... this is actually our second visit to mygym Nanuet because we attended a birthday party about a month ago which was equally phenomenal at making my child sleep. Today we arrived and checked in and I released my little human into the happiness that is safe playtime. Parents also come in and help the minis do circle time... which mine refused... and also help them play each game or activity. They have music playing that of course is perfect for the kids and employees that clearly LOVE children. All of the climbing activities have cushions surrounding them so if by chance your monster tumbles they never get hurt. I have a super active boy soooo I am extra appreciative of that. Liz was beyond helpful at getting us all set up when we arrived and also helps to make you feel like a part of the family. She introduces all the children and remembers their names which is quite impressive because I can hardly remember which name belongs to my own children. To make a really long, mom brain story short bring the tiny people in your life to Mygym in Nanuet. They will love it and maybe you will get to drink a cup or coffee while it's hot for once while they nap after. read more

This place is great! We went for our first class today and were very impressed! I work in early childhood education and this place seems to really know what they are doing- the staff is well trained and has the perfect level of enthusiasm and calming presence. The pacing of the class was just right- nothing taking too long, but nothing feeling rushed or hectic. My daughter is usually a bit reserved her first time in a new place but today she was so confident and comfortable it was incredible- practically made us cry seeing her so happy and at ease with the staff and the physical space! I am excited for her to continue here and to see her blossom. Equipment, pedagogy, staff ratios, training, stimulation level- all just spot on! A well oiled machine. Thank god for My Gym. My 18 month old loves it there and the people who work there are seriously THE SWEETEST! The place is always clean, which is huge because any time he goes to a play room, he ends up getting sick. That's never happened here. The equipment is always set up differently so that the kiddos never get bored and the classes are set up by age so your little one isn't trampled by a big one! It's about $80 a month so if you're not sure you're going to go a bunch get a punch card. They never expire and they're only about $100. They punch it once for a play session and twice for a class. read more

I cannot believe parents pay money to bring their kids here!!! But many do because the class we attended was packed. The music was so loud it was uncomfortable to my adult ears so I imagine it is damaging to baby and toddler ears! If you don't believe me just listen to any one of the instructors speak.... they all sound like 80 year old smokers from shouting!!! Even the very young women! Numerous kids were crying hysterically as parents forced them to do some "fun" activity. Doesnt make much sense to me! Other kids were doing their own thing throughout the gym while other organized activities were going on. Basically it was overwhelming chaos!!! I as an adult felt incredibly overwhelmed... I cannot imagine how the 1 year olds felt! Some of the activities / handling of the babies seemed unsafe to me. Swinging a toddler by their hands with no support?! That is just asking to dislocate a joint. Also, the owner frequently came over to us and insisted that my son needed work on his muscles etc and that after a month of My Gym all of his "problems" would be fixed. She asked numerous times if he gets physical therapy and what exercises we are doing. She frequently singled my child out to "work" on his skills. I brought my child to have fun with his peers! I never expressed any concerns that I wanted to "work on"! The place seemed clean enough though I didnt observe any actual cleaning going on. There is no place to store coats, shoes, bags so they are scattered all over the waiting area. read more

I had such a bad experience at this place. I walked in hoping to get some information and it took the staff at least 5 minutes to get up and acknowledge me from their little gossip circle about other parents children and staff. They barely gave me any information (I can see why they don't talk money upfront very overpriced for nothing special) but told me to take a trial class so I came back to give it a shot. I came back and was very dissapointed. Teachers play favorites and class very unorganized- basically a free for all. The director is very pushy and doesn't take no for an answer trying to get you to sign up that day. They tell you you can freeze at any time after 2 months but other moms have told me they make it difficult for you. Your child will just be a number. I found the director and staff very fake and disinterested and I will not be coming back. Very unprofessional. read more
