Decided to check this event out after seeing an advertisement for it on Groupon. Now, I'm not one for going out into the cold willing, but my 2022 resolution is to be more adventurous and better to start in December then never. First of all, parking is $20, card only. Although the event was supposed to start at 4pm, we spent over 15 minutes in line waiting for the gates to open. The lines seemed unorganized initially until security guards started separating people into the igloo (vip) and regular tickets line. Okay, most of the event takes place inside including the inner tubing, Santa Claus meet and greet, face painting, and lights. Outside, there's a merry-go-round, the vip igloos, s'mores and hot chocolate station, and seating area with fire pits you can roast s'mores and stuff. The coolest thing was the inner tubing! So fun! BUT get there early; otherwise, you'll be waiting forever. Nothing really else going on here. I guess this is a fun trip to take the kids, but for those without kids, you will be 100% fine skipping it. I spent about an hour here and didn't feel like there was much else to do. Definitely something I probably won't return to next year, but at least it was fun to get out and check brave the cold off my new year's resolution list. read more

My family and I enjoyed this event! It's a cute addition to Ventura and the holiday season. I would go again if they had it next year. It was 20$ for adults for just the light event and 35$ for the snow tubing too which we opted out. Under 3 is free and over 3 is 15$ for just the light. You get access to a small area of snow for the kids to play with the light ticket alone so if you have little ones that may not like snow tubing just buy the general admission ticket. We tried the chicken tenders and fries and the hot chocolate which were both good. Pricy but good. Lots of photo ops. Parking is expensive for 20$ but we went on Sunday at 5:30pm and there was no line which was a plus! Easy in and easy out! Overall, had a great time and something cute to do with the kids! read more

When you are desperate for an outing with snow and don't want to drive far and spend too much, this fits the bill. Sure it's not Big Bear, but for $25/tikt and overpriced $20 parking, whaddya want? Kids got snow tubing and snowball fight experience, a Christmas light walking (pretty good) and some (actually) decent food. They could've had more snow play area with all the space, but they probably didn't know how many were gonna show up with this pandemic. Tip: bring a flashlight or two at night to make it easier to use the porta-potty, otherwise you may not aim correctly. :) read more

This was a fun little event to go with the family. They had a lot of lights that we got to walk through, petting zoo, and a carousel. The tickets were about $48 each and we were there for a good two hours. We were excited for the snow tubing but it just sucks that we had to wait in line for at least 10-15 mins to go down the slide. Next time we will definitely look into an igloo since they get VIP access. The staff was super friendly and the fireworks were amazing!! read more

We got there at our ticketed time of 7:30pm.. well actually 6:30pm but they said we couldn't enter until 7:30 due to a private event going on so we went and walked around downtown Ventura but when we returned just before 7:30pm this was the line we were expected to wait in just to get in. After standing there for 20 minutes and it not moving we gave up. Extremely terrible customer service and not worth a 2 hour wait to get in when you have a time on your already purchased tickets to enter. read more

We had a blast! Recommend water proof boots and gloves at the least. We went 7pm-10pm (closing). My favorite part was the staff, everyone was in such a good mood and they were sweet to my kids (age 9 and 7). People kept loosing their phone on the tubbing and they were very nice about it. We didn't get an igloo but they looked really cool! I was worried looking at all the bad reviews but the snow was nice and perfect for snowballs. The light up walk was Picturesque and perfect for kids who just got a sugar rush from the s'mores. We got too many of the s'mores for us. They use cookies instead of gram crackers and I couldn't finish mine for the sugar overload. The hot chocolate was good too! I'm so happy we did this. Parents who are trying to decide if it's worth it- it is not. The pictures show snow, but let me be clear, there is no snow. What you will find is a bunch of kids and parents wandering around asking "where is the snow?" The sledding is fun for a few times, but we left after 30 mins with disappointed kids. The lights display was beautiful. The fireworks were cool. Very disappointed with the snow tubing experience this year. They decided to create a restricted line with about 1/2 hour wait before you could slide. My 3 yr old toddler doesn't have a lot of patience to wait in line, so we slid down twice. Last year you got to slide down the hill,, grab a tube & run back up to the top. No lines,, no restless toddlers losing their minds. We got to slide at least 20 tines last year until we were exhausted. Had I known about this new line restriction, I would not have bought very expensive tickets. We got ripped off. I bought a ticket for the 19th, having traveled for more than an hour with a one-year-old child, the closed gates were waiting for us, because for some reason they did not work that day. I wrote to them on Instagram how it happened, they did not answer my private messages. I wrote a comment, which was instantly deleted and I was blocked. read more

We went last year and it was one of the highlights of the run up to Christmas. Our kids were extremely excited to go back this year. We're riding back now and they're disappointed. Last year they had a snow play area, where you could just walk/dig/play around in the snow. That is all a lot of kids in sunny Southern California want. For whatever reason they axed that this year, so the only snow involved is in a $900 an hour (HA) tent or in the tubing. The tubing was fun. It would be much more fun with an automatic way to send up the tubes but all in all the tubing was good. Line got longer later but at the start we were able to go as many times as we could carry the tube up the stairs for. Two s'more kits and a hot chocolate ran us $65 which is a little insane. The light up wands in them broke immediately. The replacements did too. The staff was good which is why I'm not giving it one star. But it's not snow and glow without the snow play area. We won't be back next year and I'm pretty disappointed in the organizers for missing the point this severely. read more

This was the worst coordinated event I have ever been to. Parking was a mess and you had to pay $20 for it, only to then stand in another extremely slow line to get inside. After an hour of waiting, we discover that there is NO snow for the kids to play in and it was not ready until we were almost ready to leave. Needless to say everyone was complaining and spent time wandering around the light display which was underwhelming. The whole time you felt like we were getting scammed. We finally got to play in the "snow" for ten minutes before we left, which was a small patch of slushy ice in the corner of the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time for something else! read more

Waste of $80. Online they make it sound like there's going to be a cool snow sledding trail and tons of lights. NOPE. An old water slide with fake snow for LITTLE KIDS. Not for all ages. Don't waste your money here and also $20 for only 10 minutes of lights was terrible. read more

Honestly don't 't waist your money or time on this. It's a rip off. My daughter got hurt in the snow tubbing, it takes a long line to go on it, the snow play area in tiny, the boxes where you light the fire on the tables (for the s'mores) have chemicals, the lights where cute but home lights look better quality. It was a fun experience my son loved the slide and the lights. Was it worth the 100 dollars, that is an overwhelming no. The worst part is buying a 20 dollar s'mores kit that contains chocolate chip cookies, Nutella, and marshmallows. So if you like club style Christmas music and an obscure attempt at a s'more then it will be what your looking for. read more

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't go here! We spend over $200 to drive a bit over 1 hour for this place. We are highly dissatisfied! it was a long line for the snow tubing, ok we waited and kids went on... Then we stood and waited for a table to sit down (15 min wait) the tables were packed! We finally got a table, one of us went to get the s'mores kit that we prepaid online! ( For the kids they were excited) Guess what? they told us they were sold out of s'mores kits. What?? We paid to come here to snow tube and make s'mores. Wow! I was so upset because my little ones were bummed. We paid 20$ parking to come in! Plus each ticket to come here for basically nothing. We feel ripped off and robbed. Save your money and your drive dont come here. There is not much you can do anyway. Just the snow tubing (be prepare to wait) & make s'mores that they dont have. We went on the last day since my daughter really wanted to go. I remember we went to this event in 2021 and had a blast playing in the snow and going up and down the slide multiple times. This year snow was only available to private parties, slide had a long wait mainly because the security guards were letting their friends skip the lines. Yes I noticed the security chatting with their friends and letting them go through the VIP line while we peasants had to wait 30 minutes. Do not recommend this for the snow portion families are better off just taking their kids up the mountain for snow play. read more

The snow is melted and dirty. Not worth the price at all. The price for the igloo is not worth it and the people who run this pace are crooks. Save your money and drive up to places where they know how to keep kids safe- Big Bear, Mammoth or Arrowhead. I had a great time at this event with my husband and two girls. The girls loved the snow tubing and yes other reviews mention it's in a parking lot... they have decorated it so cute and the Igloos are so adorable that is my biggest regret not getting one! The light trail was full of lights and had christmas music playing throughout. They had an area for the kids to mail a letter to santa and then take a photo with him which they obvioulsy loved as well. Overall its a great event, for some holiday spirit, hot chocolate, and some snow at the beach. I'd recommend it read more

This was disappointing and a waste of money. There were no tables to roast s'mores, you had to wait around. The line for snow tubing was long and no one was going to wait more than once for it, no wonder they advertise it as unlimited. They also charge $20 for parking on top of the general admission which is ridiculous. $6 hot chocolate is overpriced and out of a packet I'm sure. Website says that it's age friendly to everyone but really more catered to kids. My girlfriend and I thought it would be a great date spot and their website advertises it way different than what it is in person. Prices have gone up compared to other reviews. Spent around $80 to walk in and walk out. Definitely catered to kids more than young adults/adults. If you've ever seen "The Frye Festival" on Netflix then you will have an exact answer on what this place is. A fraud, a lie, a false advertisement. They need to be investigated for fraud seriously. I wish businesses would stop scamming people out of their hard earned dollars. Just do the work and stop being lazy. I will say that the promoting and pictures are great because they suckered my family into paying for this. 1 mile long line, not much to do AT ALL once inside, 1 mile long line for the Snow tub slide with half snow and gravel landing into brown slush, kid snow area more like kid dirty slush area, my lights on my house are better then that light show, beer bottles laying on some light displays perfectly placed for kids to play with and the creativity must have been purchased straight from target.
