Screen wouldn't come on at startup and the entire thing would just power down. Back then I took it to an Apple Store where a genius told me it was out of warrantee and there were no guarantees they could repair, and if they did it would probably be less expensive to just buy a new laptop. I decided to just use my smaller MacBook Air and put the broken MacBook in a box at home. Flash forward to 2025, I noticed Fix that Mac while in Concord and decided to dig out the old broken MacBook to bring in. Josh said he'd have a look and give me a call with what he found. A few days later I get a text from Josh that he figured out the problem with the screen (a known graphics card issue) and also I needed a new battery as my battery was dead from being unpowered so long. We also decided to upgrade the hard drive so performance could meet almost 2025 standards and be able to jump up a few operating systems. After quoting me his estimates for the time plus hardware (which were incredibly reasonable) I gave the go ahead and my laptop was ready in another couple of days for pickup. Is my boosted 2015 laptop a match for the current 2025 line of MacBooks? Of course not! But it's running as well as my MacBook Air now and it's a great backup should I need more processing juice. I just got my iPhone 4s cracked screen fixed from my iPhone doctor. I'll tell you I was a little septic at first because he said he works out of home now since he closed his shop up, but after talking to him for a few minuets he seemed very knowledgeable and professional about iPhone's. I asked how much it would cost and to my surprise he was very affordable. I had called around to about five different shops in the area and they where all above a $120 so when he said $80 I was so happy,being i'm on a real budget as is most of us now a days. I finally arrived at the address and once again I was surprised the home was really nice and private easy parking with lots of parking space. he came out and greeted me and gave me his business card and assured me that my phone will look new again and it would take only 45 minuets for the repair. I asked him if there was and extra charge for same day repair because I called one place tech restore and they wanted to charge me an extra $20 to have it repaired in an hour he said no and it would be done wile I wait once again this day just keeps getting better considering I just cracked my screen. So I waited in a beautiful landscaped front patio area under a shaded umbrella and he offered me bottled water this is heaven I tell you and after only 25 minuets he returned with my phone in hand and he was right it looked just like the first day i bought it from apple and not to mention it only took him 25 minuets. I have to tell you I was very impressed with the service from beginning to end. I will highly recommend my iPhone doctor to all my friends,faculty and family. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness I really hope you lots of success in getting another store we need more people like you. read more

My iPhone 5 fell out of my car and was ran over. Screen was completely cracked. I was so worried that my iPhone suffered internal damage as well. I searched online for an iPhone repair shop in Contra Costa County and found My iPhone Doctor. I was pleased with the reviews on Yelp so I called and I got an appointment on the same day to bring my phone to his house. I brought it in at 11:30 am and it was fixed by 12:20 pm. He replaced the screen and fixed the inside of my phone. It looked brand new when he handed it back to me. I am very pleased with his work. I do not have any problem in operating my iPhone. Noticed an ad on "Craigslist", contacted a person named James. Very pleasant, informative and very knowledgeable of iphones. Gave him the phone and waited for 30 minutes as promised, the phone was done in 28 minutes. We rec'd a full explanation of what was done plus a few minor adjustments and replacements of a few missing screws. Also given a formal receipt for services. Stupid me bought my daughter a Iphone on my Sprint account. Even though I pay her bill and got insurance I still couldnt afford to pay the deductible of $200.00 for a new replacement Iphone. I shattered my IPhone screen, so I called Apple and was told they did not work on IPhone 4 but I could buy a new phone. I found "The IPhone Doctor" online and made an appointment. Great guy, fast and perfect repair while you wait, good prices. He was able to save my phone that had gotten wet, replaced the screen, treated the inside and dried it all out. Put it back together and tested it, said the speaker was damaged too, so he replaced that right then and there. I can't recommend James enough!!!! read more
