Long ago I cracked the screen on my Huawei P30 Pro. It's an old phone and I regret buying it. However I could not afford a new phone so I decided to live with it until I got around to getting something else. Well the screen got progressively worse and worse over the course of a year and eventually my screen would go completely black from time to time and not start working again for hours. I've been here twice now. They are SUPER good at fixing phones! Very knowledgeable, and they will save you money if they can! On my first visit, I was having a problem with charging my phone. And the head phones would not stay plugged into the port. I thought it was going to be the whole charging port and head phone port assembly needing to be replaced. But as it turns out, it was just a HUGE piece of pocket lent stuck inside my phone. They were able to fix it in an hour or less and it only cost me $40 bucks! This most recent visit, my home button on my iPhone started to crap out on me. It became extremely annoying and I couldn't take it anymore. I gave them a call to see if that was something they thought was fixable. They said yeah bring it down. An hour after walking in their store, my phone was fixed. I did end up needing a new home button assembly. It cost $90 bucks. I like to make my things last as long as possible. I've been using this iPhone 6 for the last two years. Hooooooowdy ho..... I don't want to "hate to say" but it can't be a good thing (for me at least) to be a returning customer for phone repairs. It's nice... no... great to find local businesses you can count on that have great business practices. You can always find Justin working away, in this semi off the block location. Rebirthing what reminds me of a grammar school egg baby project. Yes, an adults failed attempt to graciously be able to hold on to something so precious, pretty much a thousand dollar bill at rates these days. The fact is, he does a great job. Justin is very professional, informative and provides EXCELLENT customer service. This is not some fly by night type of establishment. This is a good 'ol hard working, honest, local do good running type of business. And please PLEASE please don't ever think anyone here is trying to sell you anything. Of course they are going to ask if you need a screen protector or maybe even a phone case. You're coming in with a cracked screen, probably most of the time but idk, I'm guessing. I thought on the idea while my phone screen was being repaired. No wait.... while my TWO PHONE screens were being repaired! Ultimately deciding on purchasing one for each. It's funny because my first time here I overheard a lady thanking him for fixing her husbands phone for the umthteen time and saying he'd probably see her soon as she exited. In my head I laughed. On one hand I thought omg, on the other I thought about how these things are slipperier than a water slinky. Initially, I had taken my phone to them for a broken screen/battery replacement and following the repair my front facing camera had completely stopped working, no Face ID, no picture, nothing. Obviously disappointed having paid to make my phone oddly worse, I returned to the store and was met with a stern "no returns, no refunds" policy for an issue my phone had developed in their care. After the mildly irritating back and forth struggle with employees to right my wrong, the owner had offered to replace my phone with a similar but better version, and transferred all relevant data for no additional cost. Despite the initial wrongdoing and subsequent headache, the owner had more than made up for the mistake, and made sure I was well taken care of in the end. read more

I thought I had completely ruined my computer. I figured I totally wrecked it. Got myself locked out of it and had no idea what to do next. All while I was "updating" it. My computer is no spring chicken, it is quite a few years old and has been quite slow for quite some time (luckily I'm really good about backing it up!) These guys are a joke! Brought in my iPhone 7 for repair, screen stopped working after I dropped it. After a week I called to see if it was ready, it was not. They said it need some part, I forget which part. Ok, no problem. Another week goes by and no call from them. I call again, this time they tell me it needs another part, ok no problem. This goes on for 3 months and not one person every called me back. When I went to pick it up they said they replace almost every part and they could not make it work. Curious, I decided to open it up the iphone............unbelievable what they did. There was missing parts, there was broken connections, and areas where they pried on things, leaving gouges. These guys are the worst! Take your repair somewhere else. I forget what I paid for my iPhone 7 but it was more than $300. Don't even let this bad unprofessional business destroy your phone. read more

I have dropped my phone numerous times, like everyone else. But this particular time I really did some damage.. concrete face down. So I brought my phone in, paid $130 for a glass replacement and a new tempered glass protector. Fast service, super friendly. But 3 stars because not even 24 hours later I dropped it on linoleum and it shattered the glass screen... not even the protector. And yes. I have a phone case. He offered a discount, which is sweet. But I am thinking the product might not be up to par if on the first next light fall the glass breaks but not the screen protector. read more

Two stars because they fixed my broken screen effectively. Minus three because they messed up my order and were low-key rude and impatient. When I dropped off my phone, I also ordered and paid for a tempered glass screen protector. When the phone was ready, I asked if he had put on the tempered glass. He seemed confused and realized that he had forgotten it and never ordered it. (Maybe a good thing as other reviewers had bad experiences with tempered glass breaking their screens) That's completely forgivable, but when I asked for a refund on the tempered glass, he said he couldn't give me one because of some issue with the credit card system that day. He didn't offer to do anything else about it (like take my info and call me to confirm it was taken care of/or give me a cash refund). To top it off he and his partner/spouse seemed really impatient and annoyed with me, I had to remember to come back and make another trip just to refund the thing he forgot and when I did, they again seemed really annoyed. I'm glad others had positive experiences, maybe they had a bad few days, but I wound up feeling really uncomfortable and probably won't return here. Update: I'm sorry Rami, but I definitely visited this store and was helped by the person pictured in photos here. I have a less common phone (not an iphone) and to my best recollection, it needed to be ordered (either way, it was never installed). I don't disagree that you have only one employee, but there was a spouse/partner visiting behind the counter at least twice when I visited. Best wishes. read more

My aunt recommended Justin to me because my iPhone screen had broken. And I don't mean a normal crack or anything.. The red color from my phone had started to fade away which left me with orange and just a weird look to my phone and the very top had a flicker to it. I showed him this and he opened up my phone and noticed when I dropped it, it did something to cause it. I contacted him and same day I was able to get my phone fixed, as I'm pretty sure it's only him, it can be busy but the wait is worth it. He fixed my screen and battery and so far it's working great! And they have a warranty, so if you're worried you can always ask about that. Not only am I happy about having my phone back to normal but he was super cool and easy to get along with. Confessional: I like to save money. Who doesn't? And when Apple quoted me much more for a battery replacement on my iPhone than My iPhone Repair, guess who I went with? Yep, the crew at My iPhone Repair. And then, after my battery replacement... something went wrong. I'd happened to be in the mall, and though I'd check out the Apple Store to see if they could diagnose my phone to see what was the matter. After the long, arduous process of figuring out which person with the red iPad was going to help me, the diagnostics told me that I had a bad battery, AND that they won't touch it because I had the battery replaced by a "third-party". Hmm... So, I went back to iPhone Repair with a "what gives?" -(Well, in truth, I went to Yelp first, and vented, hence my update). Even though they could see that I had been a loyal customer in the past, they couldn't for the life of them find my information about replacing my battery, BUT the manager, Justin, did give me the benefit of the doubt and did whatever he could to try to make things better for me. Like I'm sure you know, one's phone is basically one's lifeline, so when you're lifeline lies to you and tells you it's got a 82% charge, and then suddenly a 6% charge, suddenly you're holding your breath hoping you won't be stuck in the middle of no where with no lifeline! -and in SoCo, that's Highly Likely! The long and the short of it, Justin did what he could. He replaced the battery, tested it for days and it seemed all was well. I even threw more money in to it to get it in tip top shape and fix the on/off button that was getting wonky. But even with a new battery, my phone kept lying to me, and shutting off suddenly, and turning on, and turning off. In the end, the verdict is...my phone will die someday, unexpectedly, without warning. There's nothing Justin, nor anybody else can do about it. I have a credit for the extra investment I'd put in for the on/off switch, having thought all would be well with a new battery. I just have to face it, and let the poor phone that has served me so well go. I'll probably go back in and get a case or a charger, trade in my old-faithful for parts. Phones are like pets, they only have so long to live, and most will be gone way before you expect them to be. Justin says, be prepared to replace yours every four years or so. I better start saving in anticipation... read more
