I've used MY Le Tailors so many times over the years. I have lost about 50lbs. I have some nice boutique men's clothes that she was able to save for me. I have gone from an XL size to a medium. So, she has altered the seams on my shoulders, sides, and the length of my nice shirts. All custom and now fits perfectly. She has also modernized a number of my suites, from the cuffed/ full to the now slimmer fit style. She's even worked on my dress overcoat, and a lamb skin leather jacket. Adjusted shoulder and trunk seams. I never rush her, give her a few pieces at a time. Work has been excellent. read more

Sorry. Not sorry. I was here several times but didn't get anything done. I understand life is hard during Covid-19 pandemic. But, come on. When you say you'll be open at 11, please have someone there to take orders. I got nothing done at My Le Tailors last week. Yup. It's inside of a beauty salon. A nice man at the beauty salon told me to call her. It was at noon. I have to go to work shortly. Because it closes at 5 pm, I kept missing her on my day off. This reminded me of Lily Alterations at Dun Huang Plaza. The best course of action is to find another alteration service. I don't want to go through this again. I was very disappointed. I really wanted to try My Le because they have been advertising on Chinese newspaper for a long time. Oh well. I took my stuff to Dryclean USA instead. read more

Prompt punctual no frills tailor service....can't believe how reasonable it is to get a new zipper repair. Very good craftsmanship...highly recommend. Apparently she does dry cleaning too for winter attire...will return with our load of winter clothing for cleaning when it's time to turn over our clothes for the Spring/Summer weather. read more

while i didn't really go through with an alteration here, I will definitely come back to utilize their services for future projects. I brought in a banquet dress to be hemmed shorter and she quoted me half the price that the tailor next to me in the med center asked for. come in with the dress for an accurate quote and wear the shoes/heels you want to wear so she gets a good idea of how long you want it. the dressing room is really small and she's likely to have the door/curtain open while you're trying the dress on for her so the entire salon waiting room will see you (they share the same space as a hair salon, if you don't see their open sign on they're probably open bc the salon is open. closed on sundays though!) I took my dress back because i ended up going with another dress and she made it very easy for me to take the dress back and i got my money back very easily. She speaks chinese and vietnamese and english and there are cards in the front with their hours and information. read more

I will keep this review short and sweet as I am on the go and infuriated. This tailor is around the area where I am running errands today so I thought I would give her a try to hem my jeans. The craftsmanship was terrible. I was appalled to see a snip damage at the leg opening and the stitching on the inside of the hem was done without a care in the world. Please do not come here. Have your alteration done elsewhere. I will not be returning as it is very upsetting that she damaged a new pair of jeans. Also, it costs $12 to replace a broken zipper because my order was rushed. They did not seem busy so I also can't justify the price. If it was done well,maybe I wouldn't be as frustrated, but either way, I will not be returning. read more

I have been going to this place for the past 10 plus years, but now I will never go back again. I brought two new pairs of jeans to this place for a simple hem and the lady totally mess up (cut way too short). It was like 4 inches different! She destroyed two new pairs of perfectly fine jeans THAT I CAN NO LONGER WEAR. The worst thing was that she would not amid she has messed up and keep making other excuses that I brought the wrong pants or I wore it wrong during measuring, or that it is only a few inches different?! Finally, after she has screwed up my two brand new jeans, she said she don't want my business anymore because I am so unreasonable?! I brought in 4 items (1 shirt, 1 slack, 2 jeans). To be fair since she did the shirt and slack correctly and thinking she might be a single mom (saw a little boy there); I left her $20 of the $23. She took the money but still continue to argue?! I know it is a small business (mom/pap style), but it should still be honest when mistake is made. All I want this to be resolved and I never asked her to pay for the damages. Instead, the lady gave me excuses while she denied her true mistake. Now, I have two pairs of high water, Michael Jackson style jeans that are NOT WEARABLE. read more

I've been going here for all of my alterations (except for my wedding gown) for the past 10 years. The lady is nice and always punctual with your requests. I just came in last week with 8 pairs of jeans and my hubby's sports coat, and she had them done in 5 days. Her prices have gone up since 10 years ago (original hem which was once $9 is now $12), but she's still the best for the price that I've found. I've had dresses taken in and jacket sleeves shortened ($18), too, in addition to the regular hem ($6) and original hem of pants and jeans. Located inside King Hair Salon. Cash only. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. PLEASE BEWARE. My boyfriend and I took a pair of scrub pants in to get it tailored. I made sure to ask how much it was since he wanted the legs taken in a bit and the waist. She said it would be $25 and we decided that's a little steep so we decided to just alter the legs for $15. I made sure to ask her if we had to pay now or later. We made sure to get cash because we knew it was cash only. Gave her a $20, got $5 back. I went back today, a week later. I asked to see the pants and try them on. Everything went well until I was going to leave. She asked me to pay. We already paid $15. She showed me a receipt and she said, "There's no circles paid on here. You didn't pay yet. I keep a record of everyone in the book. Maybe you forgot to pay." I said no. I recounted the events for her and she went on to say I had no cash that day. No, ma'am. I go cash specifically for the tailor and my boyfriend had four twenties that day. I didn't have the receipt with me then and I know that's my fault but to make things up about me is another thing. I was able to find the receipt when I got home. I realized the receipt that she showed me WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL ONE she showed me!!! The nerve to try to lie is appalling! When I went back, I asked to see the receipt she tried to show me and she wouldn't show it to me. She changed up her story and blamed me for not having a receipt. Yes, I may not have as my receipt but don't make things up when it didn't even happen. She just would not admit she was wrong. She made things up earlier about me not having cash and such. The receipt wasn't the original one and she tried to make me pay an additional $15 for average work. Please do not go to her. read more

This is the WORST place I ever experience in my life. I brought several suits here for alteration. The lady promised to alter the jacket as needed. After a week wait, she messed up all the clothes. The one need to be smaller, she made it bigger and other the one suppose to be bigger she made it smaller. She asked me to give her extra time to fix it and I poloitely agree about it. Unfortunely, She asked for extra charge for the things that she messed up. What the heck? What kind of business is that when you mess up but ask for extra money to clean your mess ? Give me a favor, AVOID this location. I have to pay extra money to bring my suits somewhere else to fix it. Total 3 time more expensive than I should pay for alteration. read more

I don't write many reviews but this has got to be the worst tailor shop I have ever been to. I brought 12 curtains all measuring 124" in for a simple hem and 6 out of the 12 curtains were horribly done. When I picked up the curtains and brought them home 6 of the 12 curtains were of different varying lengths. The shortest one being 112" longest being 121". When I brought them back to get it fixed the women in the shop tried to blame their incompetence on the manufacturer and refused to correct their botched job. If I could give them zero stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service and very poor craftsmanship. If you don't want to ruin your things avoid this place at all costs. read more
