A long-time Houston family planted in Houston and have been in business for prob over forty years or so! Father and son business and I came to them to have some jewel appliqué embellished jeans hemmed because I'm a petite 5'1 girly and it's hard to find jeans that fit! I called them on Easter weekend and they were about to close shop early for the holiday weekend but I caught them right before closing and they agreed to stay open just long enough for me to get there and drop off the jeans. I arrived and Mr. Imparali (their dad) stayed after just to measure my hem and then the tune around time was quick! Just a few days later we picked up the jeans and they even expedited it for us. Excellent customer service, above and beyond, and precise, dependable work on the hem! I'd highly recommend them and use them in the future! Just the sweetest family honestly!

You'll find a note on the door saying "if not open, try restaurant next door" in Chinese. Last year, I brought my green screen for modification because it was a mistake from a vendor at Amazon. I needed it to be at a certain width to fit right during a virtual meeting right after the new year. I knew something was not going well when I describe how I wanted. Because seamstress didn't write it down. Sure enough. It was sawn wrong side. I kept missing her to pick it up. I ended up eating my dinner at Yummy Street a couple of times. I managed to use bobby pins to correct the fit during my meeting. After that I went back to ask for correction. I felt bad about not paying but it was clearly her mistake. Guess what? I kept missing her again. I finally picked up right before my second event. Oh boy. Not going back again. There are plenty of alteration shops in Chinatown.

I have gone from an XL size to a medium. So, she has altered the seams on my shoulders, sides, and the length of my nice shirts. All custom and now fits perfectly. She has also modernized a number of my suites, from the cuffed/ full to the now slimmer fit style. She's even worked on my dress overcoat, and a lamb skin leather jacket. Adjusted shoulder and trunk seams. I never rush her, give her a few pieces at a time. Work has been excellent.

A nice man at the beauty salon told me to call her. It was at noon. I have to go to work shortly. Because it closes at 5 pm, I kept missing her on my day off. This reminded me of Lily Alterations at Dun Huang Plaza. The best course of action is to find another alteration service. I don't want to go through this again. I was very disappointed.
