Salesperson was super snotty when I brought my vacuum to be repaired. Even tried to charge me $125 for the repair stating it was not a warranty issuer "because I didn't buy the vacuum at a vacuum store" I called Bissell who quickly replaced the vacuum for free because it was definitely covered under the warranty!! Ok... went in to just have my Oreck serviced... The man seemed nice, turned vacuum onlooker at underneath , went over to his desk and started writing, I told him I just wanted the service . ( I bring my vacuum every year except for the pandemic 2019-to now, this is my spare vacuum so I don't use it a lot ) He wrote down over $200.00 dollars worth of parts and then said $79.00 labor, a lot of the Part he told me about had just been replaced 2019. I told him thank you, I have learned a lot picked of my vacuum and started to walk out the door and he said you just need to buy a better Vacuum. There is no more costumer service, prices are out of control. I will find another Vacuum repair or just do it myself. read more

Based on my experience I found this organization to be unethical. They threw my carpet cleaner away and told me they would work with the warranty company to get a replacement unit. They failed to do so, gave me the run around and eventually ignored and avoided my calls. This was unfortunate because their location is really convenient for me but I would never patronize not recommend this place. read more

Nothing like finding out the carpet cleaning supplies I have been buying from this company for years can be bought at Home Depot and Amazon for half the price. The Capture carpet cleaning products, formerly known as "Oreck Dry Powder", works great. But to have been sold these products under the belief it was an "Oreck Only" product and for double the price is low down and dirty. read more

Brought Oreck Vacuum in to get the cord replaced. They replaced the cord for $40. That was the only problem with the Vacuum before I brought it in. When I got home the Vacuum wouldn't stand upright. I called Dee at the Oreck store to see if they forgot a screw and let them know I would be back so they could fix. Damon called me back and said that he would be charging me to fix what he broke. Unbelievable horrible customer service and they refuse to give me the Manger's information. read more

I paid for sweeper bags ($35) over a week ago. The Marietta store was out of bags but I was told they would arrive this week and I would get a call. So far no call. I called the store today at 1:00 p.m. and left a message inquiring about the order. No return call from Oreck. I just called again at 4:30 p.m. The person I spoke to was Dee who could not speak clear English and I had to ask her twice to repeat what she said. She then spoke LOUDER and I told her again that I COULD HEAR HER BUT I JUST COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HER. She had no idea who I was or when the bags would be in but assured me they would call me (she didn't even ask my name). I gave her my name but before I finished saying my name, she interrupted me and said a customer just walked in so she couldn't talk. I am sure it was a lie, and even if it wasn't a lie, it was extremely rude. A 'customer' came in??? What did she think I was, chopped liver? Very disappointed in the lack of knowledge and customer service. Will think twice before purchasing another vacuum at this store. read more

This is in line with the other reviews for people looking for service & not sales. I took my vacuum here at the request of Hoover - they use this location as their service center. Right after I walked in & tried to explain what was happening he immediately said "you can stop talking, I already know what's wrong". As he struggled to find the serial number, he said, "You know, you just need to buy a better vacuum. This isn't meant to do much except deal with small piles of dust." I proceeded to tell him that I only use it sparingly, about 2x month, and the rest of the time my cleaning service, who has an Oreck, cleans my home to ensure a deep clean. He responded with, "You actually use this to vacuum your house?" At this point I couldn't believe how much he was bashing Hoover's product - he's a service representative for them. I finished the conversation by telling him that I understand it's not an expensive unit, but for the money, how long it lasts, and the warranty that I'd just like to fix it. He stormed off with my vacuum and I've not heard back since. It's only been 1 week, but I'm not sure I even want it back at this point. I've let Hoover know they might want to rethink their warranty experience as well. He clearly is using this relationship to try and get someone out of the Hoover product and into the Oreck one. Other reviews seem to agree he's really nice if you want to buy something new. Otherwise, beware. read more

I visited this location about 3 weeks ago. I took in my 25 year old ORECK XL to have them see if it could be serviced. It was overheating and the brush would stop spinning. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady who looked at it some and took off the belt cover. she said it was worn. She also said I had a fray in my power cord that would need replacing. She confered with her manager who woul not give me an evaluation of what all needed to be done. He was not a very personable man. Zero personality and zilch customer service skills. The young lady then tried to sell me a new vacuum which is not what I went there for. I wanted an estimate to repair mine and then depending on the cost would have considered a new one. I left not satisfied. I later took the vacuum to a vacuum repair shop. After examining it they gave me a $75.00 price. I accepted their offer and now it works just like new. Needless to say I will not return to this store. The 2 stars are rated on the young lady's personality and assistance alone. read more
