This was my 5th appointment with Masako. I started seeing her for my migraines and lower back pain. I have only had 1 headache since I started my visits. I've been going to Masako a couple times a week for the last 4 months. I didn't want to write a review until enough time passed for me to give a sound one. I come in for the Nutritional Response testing and for the Japanese Acupuncture. I love that the needles aren't inserted like in Chinese acupuncture. That part enticed me to give it a shot but was curious to see how effective it really was. Every session I have with her I do feel the energy flowing and I get a sense of peace calm and relaxation. It has helped tremendously with my anxiety. Compared to the the Chinese acupuncture I have gone to in the past this is by far the best. As for the Nutritional Response testing I've seen a huge improvement on the eczema issue I had been dealing with for a year prior to coming to her. Doctors couldn't give me answers and wanted to give me steroids to suppress the symptoms. Masako's approach is treating from the inside out naturally. The muscle testing confirmed what I suspected and helped pinpoint the root cause. The muscle testing also helped give my body a voice in telling me what supplements and foods I needed to help heal and what I needed to avoid. I went to My Path To Wellness and Masako-San to deal with elbow and shoulder joint pains. I did not want to go to our family doc - though a great doc - and deal with meds, so I decided to give it a try with acupuncture. After the first session, the pain vanished like a miracle. I had 3 other sessions to deal with my stubborn left elbow. Since then, with the addition of anti-inflammatory natural supplement, the pain has all subsided. I enjoyed my visits with Masako-San. I only had the hour long shiatsu massage and acupuncture but it was so rewarding. I had so much stress in my neck area and those acupuncture needles really helped to illiminate that pain and that shiatsu massage was excellent for my back and hip pain. For months and months I had a terrible skin rash, that couldn't be cured with any antihistamines, cortisone tablets, injections, creams or following my own idea of a special diet. I couldn't swim, do any exercise, enjoy summer or sleep one night through! I was so miserable! I remembered about an email a friend send to me long ago, who was completely off of all his Western Meds (with their deadly side-effects) due to treatment by Masako Wada and decided to give it a try. At first I was a little sceptic. I have had alternative treatments before and am a firm believer in Muscle Testing, but she "lost" me at Blood letting and Moxa-Burning. I have suffered from neuropathy in feet, legs and hands for years with some relief coming from pain medication. Masako Wada looks at a person as a whole; what one eats and drinks and any medication your on. By Appling her suggestions along with accupucture she brought relief. She takes time to talk with you to see if there are other complications with each office visit. Chronic hip pain and shoulder blade muscle pain are gone. I've never been able to cure this problem 100% until Masako's skilled treatment. I went to Masako for joint pain mostly in my hands, wrists and shoulders. I had scheduled a shiatsu massage for 1 hour. I got there and was left in the lobby for 15 minutes filling out papers. When we got to the massage room, there were 45 minutes left. The massage itself wasn't what I was expecting. She has you keep all clothing on, drapes a sheet over you, and does the massage. The fabric of clothes digging into the skin was very distracting and was not at all what I was expecting. read more
