My husband I started receiving treatment from Dr. Peng sometime around 2017 or 2018. Dr. Peng's manipulation techniques helped my husband and I work through sciatica, bulging discs, etc.. At times our issues were major, other times just in for regular adjustments. He is personable, great listener, and helps you understand the why of back issues. We highly recommend turning your care over to him. The only complaint we have has come about through direct interactions with his receptionist. I have called multiple times to try to get an appointment with Dr. Peng and she creates barriers to entry. When I ask if we can get scheduled this week, she is never accommodating; instead, advises he can't see us until next week or later in the month. I ask if she can advise of cancellations, and she advises we just need to check in. Really?! Past receptionists have always been amenable to working with us. Dr. Peng, if you are there, we haven't been in to see you because your receptionist doesn't accommodate us. I noticed this pattern when the receptionist was replaced. I always ask how people are doing when I interact with them. She wasn't interested. Not at all friendly, lacks personality, and doesn't try to even work with your clients. Sadly, we have had to seek treatment close to our home - we live in Georgetown and the office is in Pflugerville. We are happy to come back, but your receptionist needs to try to work with your longstanding patients. We still need you! Suffering with back pain during Covid for weeks and the months was brutal. After dealing with it at home, I finally needed a diagnosis. I set an online appointment and confirmed all the burning, radiating pain in my back, neck and arm was due to my spine needing adjustment along with my neck and my hip was out of joint. After the first treatment, I felt better within a few days. Had a chiro massage a week later and am starting to feel more flexibility in movement. They are taking temps at the door, you are required to wear a mask in the waiting room and in your appt. You can remove your mask when you're face down in the chair, but face up do keep it on. I used to love this place. I really did. I would go here for a much-needed release from work and life's stresses that cause me great neck and back pain. My insurance covers hour-long massages or adjustments for a $15 co-pay, so it's a heck of a deal, too. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes, but PWC can't seem to keep the good masseuses around. Every time I find somebody halfway decent, they leave within a month. This last visit was the breaking point: I don't know who my masseuse was, but she was TERRIBLE. 1. I left in more pain than when I arrived. I know that pain reduction is not guaranteed, but that is kind of the opposite of what I wanted. 2. There was a super loud clock ticking in the room. How is this okay? Or relaxing? 3. The sheets/head rest cover was not clean. Gross. 4. The floor looked like somebody had just eaten a bunch of crackers. 5. Her breath reeeeeeked of smoke. Not okay. 6. She left me to undress for 7 minutes - that is too long. She didn't apologize or make up for time. Get it together, guys. read more

I've been receiving acupuncture treatment for chronic insomnia for about 6 weeks. Dr. Peng has helped my back pain over 8 years off and on. I have chronic problems and serious issues. He is a very gentle person and isn't rough but still gives me relief and keeps me going! I had an acute flare due to lifting my husband's wheelchair recently and he has gotten me where I can walk again! He allows me to function without surgery! He helps me more than injections have! I cannot recommend Pfugerville Wellness highly enough. It is one of the few places in Central Texas where you can get a little know technique called the "Cox Technique". This is an incredibly gentle process that works incredibly well for spinal rehab. Disk degeneration is normally treated with surgury, but the cox technique can take you a long way towards recovery without anything invasive at all. Dr. Peng is really skilled with the Cox technique. The secret is to start very gently when rehabing badly damaged disks. You have to do a lot of treatments (3 times a week to start with) but compare that surgery that might or might not work and might even make your situation much worse. If you need disk rehab, whereever you are in central texas, consider doing 1 week of treatment from Dr Peng. You will be glad you did. read more

I went for an initial visit and had an "adjustment" with the Chiropractor and then a 30 minute massage. Needless to say the massage was the best part. I have been a client here for acupuncture for almost 2 years. I was suffering from a few ailments when It was recommended to me to try this treatment. Just an update to my earlier post in December that somehow got filtered. I am still having great results from my accupuncture visits with Julie. My allergies are sooo much better this Spring. I have had chronic neck pain for years. I have treated it in the past with massage and physical therapy. I decided to try a chiropractor. I cannot believe the difference I felt after just two adjustments...which literally take two minutes. I felt immediate relief in the form of increased range of motion and over the next few days, some of he pain subsided. I just did a medical massage yesterday and it was fantastic. I came here after doing extensive Internet research on treatments for my lower back. I have 2 herniated discs in the lumbar area and it had gotten so bad I was practically immobilized and on heavy pain meds. I discovered a type of treatment that seemed ideal for my situation. It is called the Cox Chiropractic Technic. Dr. Trent at Pflugerville Wellness is one of very few chiro's that perform it. It has been literally miraculous for me. It took a couple of months but I am back working, cooking, cleaning and am off all pain meds. Earlier a top spine doc in Austin told me my only hope was surgery. I am so happy to have found this. My treatments involved the Cox Technic plus ultra sound and traction. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with serious lower back problems. We have been going to Pflugerville Wellness Center since Dr. Hoster opened shop. We continued going after it was sold to Dr. Peng because we really enjoyed his work. He is a great chiropractor! However, we will no longer be going there since his staff lacks good customer service. I have referred several people there in the past and the major complaint we would receive from everyone is that the office staff is never on top of it. We have felt that way in the past, but because I really like Dr. Peng's work, we always overlooked it. However, this will not be the case anymore. I was in really bad shape when I first started there, and could barely walk. Over time my back seems to be getting better. Omg!! The awesomeness of this place cannot be described. I went in there was chiropractic adjustment as well as Ashiatsu. Both of the experience were awesome. The staff is always very adjusting and polite. They always greet with a smile. The doctor is really experienced and does a great job. I highly recommend the Ashiatsu by Kim D.
