Well I was given a gift card for EMS, that's what began my love for my girl Jacqui and EMS in general. No aches, no pain really, just want a relaxing massage. Haven't had one in over 15 years, all I wanted to do was relax. They do offer oh so many different kinds of massages and I bet Jacqui is great at any and all of them. Visited for the first time yesterday and was underwhelmed. The office itself was fine, the rooms are nothing special. I agree with another reviewer when they say, why fill out an intake form if it will be ignored? I asked for a deep tissue massage with the highest amount of pressure and what I got was far from that. She used an actual electric massager for a lot of the time- I could have done that at home! She spent more time pressing and poking than massaging and when she did it was with her fingertips and sooo light. Never once did she ask me how the pressure was. I felt exactly the same when I left- grateful I used a Groupon because I basically paid 40 dollars to lightly nap on a table. I also definitely got maybe 45 minutes of massage time when you take away getting changed and tje verbal consultation. I know experiences are very specific to the masseuse- I had Jacqui- but it was enough I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I was told to arrive early to be sure to get my full 90 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes early but was not called back until several minutes after my scheduled appointment. In addition to losing a few minutes at the start, just as Megan got to my neck (which is where I stated was one of the areas that needed the most attention) she barely began to massage that area when she said time was up. When she left the room I immediately looked at the clock which showed she ended 4 minutes early. That 4 additional minutes spent on my neck could have made a huge difference. I took a chance and bought a two-pack of 90 minute massages with a friend. The ambience was pleasant and professional. Things seemed clean and orderly. Customer service was friendly. Docking two stars for my masseuse, Matthew, since he spent way too much time doing what felt like a lot of nothing. The 90 minute "massage" could have been done in 60 minutes. She was kind, considerate and accommodating. We talked about what brought me in, what my problem areas were and made sure I had no issues laying down comfortably and safely with my baby. I was set up with her in a dimmed room with soothing music after filling out some paperwork. Amy matched my tone of conversation as well, we would chat when I first came in and as I got more relaxed she would only ask questions here and there to make sure I was still comfortable and what she was doing was working. My first visit went so well that I opted for 90 minutes instead of 60. I have poor posture (definitely wish I had listened to my Aunties) so back/neck/shoulder tension is a real and regular occurrence. I still shudder when I think about how bad this massage was. I agree completely with Stephani B's review. We had the same masseuse (Jacqui) and the same utterly underwhelming experience. The office did warn me by text ahead of time that Jacqui only uses light pressure, and was that okay? I said it was (I didn't have other options since I was booking last minute and she was the only one available--now I see why). So I can't complain too much about that, but I also didn't realize her "light pressure" would be mostly just poking and prodding and using a tool which must have been a massage gun. I truly cannot believe she's gotten away with using a massage gun instead of actual massage techniques with her fingers for years now. Why is she still on staff? On top of all that, the room was chilly and the table wasn't turned on so I was freezing the whole time. I couldn't wait for it to be over, and that's not what a massage is supposed to be! read more
