I got two dresses altered and hemmed by her and they turned out wonderful, except she charges you an arm and leg for every small adjustment! So please be aware and ask questions carefully! I got charged more than I should for to get my daughter's dress hemmed. She quoted me $55 but when she saw the dress she said $10 extra because the dress is poofy (it's not poofy at all). Then asked if I wanted to get the straps fixed since they're too big on my daughter. I said yes. She didn't give me a quote for that but wrote it on the receipt (it was my fault for not checking with her) how much everything was going to be. She charged another $50 just to tightening the straps, a total of $115. Sounds like money hungry to me. So be aware and ask questions and record it if you must. She's nice, but seems like money is bigger for her than making her customers happy. Definitely lesson learned and will never go back to her. read more

I had a wedding to attend and had just bought a blazer for the event on the day before. Desperately needed the sleeves tailored, so I hopped on Yelp and sent out a message/request blast to several tailors the morning of (nifty little project thingy you can do on Yelp, had no idea that was even a thing). She reached out to me with the cost of taking the sleeves in, as well as the cost for expedited same-day service. Her prices were incredibly reasonable and she was confident she'd be able to meet my deadline. Had to be at the wedding by 5pm and she promised it ready by 3pm. I dropped off at 12pm at her house. She's got a modest operation going on in her garage. It was a summer day, but that garage is air-conditioned and everything! Very cool setup (pun intended). Super friendly and knowledgeable, she knew exactly what needed to be done to get the sleeves to the length I wanted! Got the text that it was ready for pickup 10min before the promised time.
