The value for the dollar, the same as product quality, selection, and availability, nothing comes close. I have ordered various different shoes/boots/heals many different times, always great shoes and service

Customer service horrible. We were in Phoenix and I wanted new sandals. There are plenty of options there but with the "Buy Canada" campaign I decided to purchase from SoleAddiction in Canada to do my part. I had previously purchased from them and was happy with my previous purchase. As we were in Phoenix I had the sandals sent to a friend as we were not returning until May. When we returned I received them from my friend and tried on. Unfortunately they didn't fit and I contacted Sole Addiction to exchange or receive a credit. A Traci immediately got back to me and said "Sorry...beyond return date by about 2 weeks" and refused to accommodate any request for exchange, refund or store credit. She indicated that she was not prepared to authorize an exception. I should add that this was not a situation that I had received the sandals and then worn them for a week or two before deciding I didn't like them and returned...the sandals and box are brand new and unused! I was shocked by the response and immediately emailed Traci back and provided further particulars but she has ignored it and a subsequent email and has not replied further. I tried to do the right thing and buy Canadian and this is the treatment I get. I suggested to her that she bring this matter to the attention of the business owners as I can't believe that they would be in favour of the treatment I received in the circumstances when there is a push on to support Canadian businesses. No response has been received to this request either. This is very poor customer service and neither I nor any friends and family will be purchasing from this company again! read more

I live a few minutes from this store and always notice the shop whenever I'm driving downtown grande prairie. Just after my fiancé's birthday we went to buy her some extra gifts. They had some covid-19 protocols in place and the location was closing within the hour. One of the employees informed us we could give our names and numbers and they would text us when it was our turn; as it was all too busy and there was only 3 employees in that day. Which kind of threw me off, I don't see how that could prevent us from viewing and buying a their clothes/ shoes. we offered to just wait. Looked past the boundary and there was literarily 4-5 people having a small social gathering and chatting away. Meanwhile other customers/ guests couldn't get access to the store to Make purchases. We waited until the last 10-15 minutes before the store closed and left without having entered at all. A few other guests left prior to us leaving. I personally understand people miss their friends and post quarantine want to visit everyone but if there's a limit to how many guests is allowed in the store, wouldn't a good practice have been to rotate the patrons once they have completed their purchases instead of sitting around and chatting away when there are 5-6 people waiting to get in and make a purchase as well? I could be wrong but I wished the staffs whom were chatting with friends in the store had been a bit more considerate about the folks trying to get into the store. Fair to say, I wouldn't be returning. Ended up making our our purchases from Quarks in the Grande Prairie Mall. read more

If I could only ever shop one shoe store for the entire rest of my life, it would hands down be Sole Addiction! AND, if that were the case, I wouldn't even be mad about it. Because: -You will NEVER walk into this store and NOT find SOMETHING great. Ever. Super broad range of styles and prices. Whether you are looking for unique/funky/piece of art shoes, utilitarian, basic/minimalist, have foot issues (wear orthotics), casual, dressy, whatever...it's there. And MOST likely in your size (ALSO LOVE NOT GETTING YOUR HOPES UP ABOUT A SHOE, ONLY TO WAIT FOR AN EMPLOYEE TO TAKE FOREVER TO COME BACK AND SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE YOUR SIZE. ALL SIZES IN STOCK ARE MARKED ON BOTTOM OF SAMPLE!) -Can't stress enough the awesome price range. Many QUALITY styles for around $100 ish. I used to NEVER pay even 100ish for shoes. Until I realized that I can pay 30-40 more, and have more comfortable, longer lasting shoes. The owner obviously really works to find quality combined with value, which is so nice! -They do carry higher end lines as well. Boots and shoes that you can splurge on, and enjoy for a really long time. We utilize footwear SO MUCH MORE than any clothing pieces, typically....They should always be comfy, and add to your outfit. -Crazy amazing clearance sales!! They don't mark things down 15%....when they say "sale", they slash the prices CONSIDERABLY. I've had people say "Just shows you how HUGE the mark up is!" Uh, no. It does not. It shows that when you operate a store where you consistently bring in a massive selection for your customers, EVERY season, you will end up with a surplus to clear out, when new stuff is arriving. It's actually just good business. I don't think they are really still make money on clearance items, just try to minimize taking a loss on seasons changing. Anyone who thinks at all about the cost of running a business, will realize not too many small business owners are rolling in cash. -Amazing, helpful staff. I had heard of this store from friends that were fans even though they have never visited. The online store is great and with more than 30 000 likes on Facebook, I knew it must be a great store. I browsed online and saw they were having their clearance sales. Lots of boots in various colours, heights, and styles for half price off or more. The store is conveniently located downtown and about a 5 minute walk from my hotel. It's on the corner and it's big inside. I walked in and saw the clearance boots right at the front and along the wall. What I liked was the available sizes checked off on the bottom of the boot. Since most are European styles, they had the European style but the size sticker was in North American sizes. I found a boot I liked, and the sales staff are friendly and approached me to ask about a size. I continue to browse the store and check out the new stock in the middle and along the other wall and back of the store. There were lots of items to look at including bags, purses, and scarves. I decided on another 2 pair of sandals to try on. The sales associate brought them out promptly and offered stocking to me. I was wearing socks for the boots but used stockings for the sandals. The seating to try on shoes is near the back of the store. I couldn't decide if I liked the boot style on me and after walking around noticed the bottom was slippery. I decided against them. The sales associate offered to find me others to try on and I told her I would like a red boot so she brought me about 3 or 4 pairs. Unfortunately, one I couldn't zip over my calf but there was one pair that I liked and half price! Some boots do come in larger widths for those with larger calves. I tried on the sandals and really like one with velcro. Prices can be a little high but the quality seems good and funky designs too. Those who shop the online store should try and visit the store if you can. It's so much better to be able to try them on and also spend time browsing and looking around. But if you can't make it, their online store is great and they offer free shipping on orders more than $100. read more

Have been shopping at Sole Addiction in person and online for over a decade, was so happy to move to Grande Prairie so I could shop in person more....once you know your size in brands, it is so convenient to shop online during Covid. I have done curbside pickup as well. Prices are same or lower than in Edmonton or Vancouver for same brands ...not in everyone's budget but my nieces save up to buy best quality and great fit from Sole Addiction. I have summer suede booties that I have been wearing for 8 years now and they still look great to wear this summer. I appreciate the adherence to Covid protocols right now!!! read more

I ordered online and bought boots on clearance price. When I received the boots, they gave me regular sized calf boots instead of what I specifically ordered wide calf boots. I contacted them by email and received no response. I called them and you can't even leave any voicemail. Now I can't wear these boots since it was the wrong size and it was their mistake. Don't buy anything from this store. Customer service sucks!!!! There's no way you can contact them to rectify the situation. Buyer beware!!! read more

I purchased my first pair of Reiker boots, during Black Friday in 2017. I paid approximately $170 and I LOVED them. They were very comfortable, warm in the very cold, and stylish. Unfortunately, the leather started to peel off the toe of one boot the first winter. In March 2018, I went into the store and they were very helpful. I took a store credit because the same style wasn't available. In Sept 2018, I found a replacement product.I paid approximately $130 for these ones. Wore those boots all winter. Stored them for the warmer months. Put them on this winter and one is leaking. These boots are only a little over 1 year old, only worn for approximately 6 months and the store will do nothing. I think it is sad that a person spends their hard earned money on what is supposed to be a superior product and this happens. I will not buy winter boots @ Sole Addiction in Grande Prairie read more

If you are looking for shoes that are really unique and you know that you are buying one of a kind...this is your place! I purchased Rieker shoes for a trip to Florida and they are known for comfort and great walking shoes. I had no trouble walking around great distances and I did not even have to "break them in"! There were no blisters or sore achy feet which can happen with wearing new shoes. My new favourite brand is Cloud shoes... very comfortable shoes! The online store is great and I check regularly for their sale items....come on 200.00 shoes for 39.99? That is a steal of a deal! read more

Disappointed, if you pay attention to prices you will find the shoes are very marked up. Buying shoes on sale there is the same as paying regular price elsewhere. I like to buy local but I don't like to be ripped off. read more

I purchased a pair of Freebird by Steven Yerba boots from the Sole Addiction online store. The boots were delivered and when I opened the box much to my dismay they were visibly in bad repair. The worst being a split seam down the middle front of the boot. I have been writing and asking for the owner or manager to call me about the condition I found the boots in when they were delivered and three weeks later I am still waiting for a call. These boots discounted were still over three hundred dollars, I would have expected that they would respond if for no other reason than to apologize for sending someone boots in such terrible condition. Instead their staff suggested that I didn't have an appreciation for what I was buying or the "distressed" nature of the boot. I would never have expected to be patronized in this way after they sent me damaged goods. Their consistent refusal to communicate with me in any way other then emails that never actually responded to my wanting to speak to someone personally, or to take responsibility for this debacle of customer service has left me with extremely negative feelings and a certainty that I will never recommend this company or their staff to anyone, anywhere at anytime. It would have been so simple to respond to my initial email with a quick telephone call and show a little care a concern for the problem. Instead I was met with a telephone number where one could only leave voicemails to which no one ever responded, and emails which were never responded to in a timely way nor were the concerns I raised ever addressed. This company has sold me damaged goods at a premium and I have also had to pay to repair a damaged pair of 300 dollar boots.
