Vincent provides an attention to detail that is unparalleled. The cut I receive is always impeccably done and the color he uses is of such a quality that it stays fresh and lovely the full eight weeks I go between appointments (and he does a full foil hair color on me so that my hair always looks great whether down or in an up-do). Vincent is a formally educated artist in addition to being a hairstylist. What does this mean for you? It means that he has a solid grasp of color and an eye for the aesthetic--he will help you discover the most complimentary cut/style/color for you. I was in town and happened to have some free time before attending a themed party. Realizing I was going to be underdressed I tagged along with my friend who was getting her hair done and asked, "Do you think it'd be ok to ask if he has time to do something with my hair real quick?" Sure enough, he was able to do my hair as well and it literally changed my whole night! Getting your hair done is such a treat and I went from feeling insecure about being underdressed to having a gorgeous hairdo to rock all night long. Vincent's Salon is in a gorgeous home along State St. At this house you'll find plenty of room for parking and inside the house Vincent was quick to encourage me to visit his kitchen and grab water or tea or coffee. He was so sweet and welcoming that I felt like I'd known him forever! In fact, if I lived in Boise I wouldn't hesitate for a second to become a permanent customer. My friend has raved about his services in the past and I've personally noticed that she has great hair. So it's not just styles and up-dos it's also cut and color. When it came time for my turn I hopped in the chair and he whipped up some up-do magic in just a matter of minutes. Leslie is AMAZINGGGG! She took the time to expertly color and cut my hair. She made sure not to cut it too short. She listened to everything I wanted and delivered in every way. I will NOT be going to anyone else, EVER while in Boise. I usually visit a stylist a couple of times before they get it "just right", but Leslie nailed it on the first visit. leslie, one of three stylists at this salon RUINED my hair. mind you, i already had chunky blonde…read morehighlights. i just wanted to clean up the roots and sprinkle in some burgundy wine red highlights throughout. leslie bleached the entire top half of my head and made the entire back of my head magenta. my hair is unarguably not in the least bit red, it is pink! not to mention so damaged from the amount of bleach she packed on my head. they charged me $250 for this and refused to refund this awful work. when i wouldn't accept her offer to fix it(why would i want you to touch my hair again that is ruined thanks to you) she deliberately attempted to take advantage of and manipulate me, a young girl less than half her age, to believe she did me some sort of favor for this embarrassing excuse for a service. it looks like a toddler painted my hair with bleach and pink in my sleep. i am furious and they are the most unprofessional, incompetent "stylists" i have ever experienced. disgusting excuse for a salon.
