Dawn was a great source of knowledge helping us arrange our wedding anniversary trip to Aruba. The resort was fabulous and conveniently located to many restaurants and shops. The sea was stunning and the weather was beautiful. However, our flight was cancelled 10 hours before departure and rescheduled one day later. The travel agency was closed. Fortunately, we had purchased travel insurance and the insurance company was so kind and was able to reach out to Dawn, Dawn worked with the resort to modify our 7-day reservation. The next morning, Dawn provided a confirmation from the resort that we could extend our trip one day due to the cancelled/rescheduled flight. Dawn went beyond our expectations modifying our trip. My husband and I got married in Riviera Maya last month and it would not have been possible without My Travel Agent. I've been planning my destination wedding since last summer and Dawn made it so easy for me. While I was too busy planning the wedding, we referred all our guests to Dawn and she arranged everyone's travel arrangements! What a relief that was for us! I haven't traveled in the Caribbean before so she really helped narrow down locations and resorts. We stayed at Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe and LOVED it! All of our guests were so impressed by the resort and kept complimenting us on what a good job we did on picking a place. But honestly, it was all Dawn! Recently spent almost two hours with the nicest family run travel agency in the area. I usually book our trips myself, but decided to use an agency this time as I was booking for multiple family members multiple legs of a trip and didn't want to mess up anything. Also needed a car rental for 10 days with different drop off and pick up locations . They were so wonderfully helpful, friendly and accommodating in all regards and insured that everything was exactly correct and at an appropriate price. One concern I had was that by using an agency, the tickets would be way more expensive than booking myself on a website. That was NOT at all the case. In some instances it was cheaper, with a 24 hour cancellation option if that would be necessary. Will most definitely be back for our next adventure! We love traveling through My Travel Agent. Dawn is such a pleasure to work with! She planned us such a wonderful honeymoon to Greece a few years ago. We were anxious about traveling overseas, but she had everything set for us. We never had to worry about transportation to and from the airports and hotels, excursions, and she even made reservations at a few restaurants for us. We recently went to an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya and had such a relaxing, wonderful time. The resort was gorgeous and had great food and awesome customer service. Her obvious expertise was a joy to observe and receive. She patiently and thoroughly walked me and my fiance' through a plethora of options for an upcoming honeymoon. Because of my father passing away and the family trying to put a vacation together before the end of summer to take the minds off, we threw our requests upon Dawn to see if she could put together a whole Hawaiian vacation together for 6 of us with only a handful of weeks to work with. Although I could feel the sense of stress with my request, ha, she was able to get to the grind and work out what was a fantastic vacation for us and much needed time together as a family. Because of the short notice there were a lot of questions she had for us that we did not have the answers for offhand. This made the timeframe more condensed as we had to keep convening to make sure dates and itineraries worked for everyone. There were changes that were also made which complicated it even further. Thankfully, Dawn stayed diligent with the representatives and made things happen for us as we needed them, while also trying to find us the best prices. I really liked and appreciated her "get it done, no nonsense" interactions with the companies as that's the kind of person you want working for you in those situations. There were even times where she was staying late at work to help get things done, and she also was working into the hours of the late night one evening doing the same. I would definitely recommend Dawn to help you with your vacation. She has also been a lot of places where she can share her own insight as to what you may want to do or go on your trip. I've had 3 great experiences using this travel agency! The first 2 were set up by Dawn(Punta Cana, and Hawaii). Both trips went off without a hitch, and were everything we wanted! This 3rd trip was to Vietnam, and a little more difficult. Audrey helped me because she had been to Vietnam. I was meeting my son there and he wanted us to do a lot on our own. Audrey set us up with a company called SITA that managed to plan the perfect trip for me and my son with Audrey's help(we had a lot of phone calls back and forth). Once again, everything went as planned, and even though I was so nervous, it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime! All of our hotels were beautiful and in great locations! We had a personal guide and personal driver that took us to our scheduled outings. I will surely use My Travel Agent in the future, and would also use SITA(through My Travel Agent) for future travels outside of the United States! read more

I have never used a travel agent before, but as I haven't traveled to Mexico or stayed at an all inclusive, I thought utilizing a travel agent would help with the planning. Unfortunately, I was wrong. They didn't do anything wrong, but they didn't really do anything. I got zero communication unless I initiated it. I emailed to check on price changes. I emailed to ask for information on our transportation to the resort. I emailed to ask if there were any new airport procedures as we were traveling a few days post the Belgium attacks. I asked for help making dining reservations, which was met with "make them when you get there". I read on my resorts TripAdvisor page that they are made a month in advance via email, so I did that myself directly with the hotel. I also researched and booked my own excursion, as I wasn't given any information on those when I asked. Perhaps I had the wrong idea of the services provided by a travel agent, but I thought I would get some sort of service. read more
