Staff was nice and helpful as we were setting up our wedding date with them. BUT after planning a wedding date here and after my transaction was made I was not told it was non refundable. My finance and I wanted to cancel our wedding date. But, we were told that it is non refundable. It is not fair and it's very sneaky for a business to do things like this especially when you are coming to them from a good place. I called and asked to get my money back and they refused saying that other places do this as well, that I could use the money for something else within either services, that I had set a date with them and I can change it, or that me setting a date still counted as services. All of these I can understand, BUT it should have been mentioned prior to completing my transaction. Jose should have said that it is nonrefundable BEFORE the transaction was made like a good business would let you know. For anyone else looking into their services just know that it is NONREFUNDABLE. read more

I was a little skeptical due to the bad reviews but I realized they were very old reviews so we decided to give it a try. ROCIO Tried convincing my mom to changing her wedding date because SHE (rocio) filled the paper work wrong , she even LIED to my mom saying the courthouse made a mistake on the paper work, when it was her .Then she admitted it and said that she had a few more cases the same as my mom with wrong info but that my mom was the only one that was giving her issues over the wedding official date(of course she would give her issues ,I would too) and everyone one else was fine on changing their date. Mind you we needed the certificate for legal documents so now we gotta take a longer time now. So she has been making the same mistakes constantly and I wished I could've seen these comments first before waisting almost over $600 for NOTHING !. DON'T COME HERE!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! In the moment everything seems is going fine and you're all so happy getting married but then give it a month or couple weeks when you don't receive your marriage license and you know why!! If I could give this place a 0 star I would. the biggest issue for me was that the papers were sample papers, No official papers until I got in the guys face. Two, they had two meetings to go over everything and everything seemed set. Had multiple phone calls, and Facebook messages that were responded to and followed by phone calls that seems completely Lidget. Until the day of my wedding. The minister (Sergio) was two hours late to the wedding even though we confirmed the night before. The guy that was supposed to be in charge was extremely rude not just to myself, to the bride and groom, but also the rest of the family. The lady that came back and it up talking to the guy in charge talking shit about the bride and groom as the ceremony was going forward in the back of the ceremony. English was so broken you couldn't understand anything and the paperwork that was given to us that evening was in Spanish instead of English making it hard for anybody to fill out information. We had filled out paperwork beforehand and found out that they lost my paperwork the day of, so we had to fill out all the paperwork right before the wedding right then and there while everybody/all the guests and family were waiting. Said they had a CD player and so we burned a CD for personal music and then found out that they only had YouTube on a computer. And that somebody took the CD player home. Which then we found out wasn't true because the CD player was on the bottom shelf but the guy said he didn't know how to use it. The package that they paid for was supposed to come with a free gift (wedding bands that they were substituting for a Professional wedding photo for them) and photos and they never received any sort of gift or any of the photos. If your planning on getting married I don't recommend you this chapel my daughter got married here in May and til now she hasn't received her marriage certificate due to the big errors that Rocio has made 2 times the first time she misspelled the last name we said ok we all make mistakes but the second time it was the same error all Rocio said is we all make mistakes knowone is perfect besides my vision isn't good.. well Mija!!! U can't be doing this type of mistakes go get yourself some glasses. cause my daughter needs this certificate for immigration purposes.. and you need to learn not to make stupid questions to the customers do your work y YA! What do you care what they need it for. But the worse part is that they don't have no respect at all. Joseph the owner got to the point of attacking my husband cause my husband was recording with his cell phone to have proof of the way Rocio was talking really bad to my daughter and Joseph saw so he came straight to my husband and attack him trying to get my husband phone cause he said he was going to erase all the evidence he had of the way they were treating us ..my daughter got bruises on her arm from Joseph cause when he attack my husband she tried to stop him and he hit her so this turned out to be a big fight I really don't understand how can people like them still be in business and I got proofs I got videos of my family getting hurt even the business neighbors came out to see what was happening the couple that was going to get married had to wait for like an hour standing outside until all this ended. Loved it!!! I had my ceremony at a house since we had way to many family members to fit in there beautiful chapel. But yet they made my fiancé and I so happy we picked them. They worked with us so much even the night before the event! Yikes I don't know of anyone that would put so much effort in to making us happy after work hours. Ok so maybe people say when writing a review they are mad. There's some truth to it. I understand this place is a travel agency/ chapel. I have been there to make payments on my fiancé and I wedding for next year. I just don't understand how no one is there to answer the phone. Since day one when my fiancé and I stumbled upon this place, no one picked up the phone. We actually had to walk in. It sucks because what if you had a question. And second it seem that when you make a phone call during the week they can answer the phone! And then when you leave a message with one of the employee there and he says he will return your call with some information requested he does nothing! Very bothered. This is a great place to get married. My husband and I loved it. Everything went as plan. They called my 2 nights before the wedding day to review ig all my info was correct. The ceremony started on time the minister even spoken in English and in Spanish which we appreciate cause everyone understood what was going on. Our family filled up the room and we had a big wedding party 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, 2 ring bearer, and 2 flowers girl. We all where able to stand in front of the stage. My now husband and I had planned to get married once he came back for leave and we only had two weeks to look for a chapel who would take us in on such a short notice and this was one of the two places that was willing to assist us in doing so. I chose this chapel not only because it was closer to my house but because it was very clean, spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful and more importantly it was very convenient for us because they provided us with a marriage license that would've otherwise been hard for us to get since my husband wasn't coming home until 2 days before our wedding. We had quite a few problems with getting the documents together since my husband was away but Grasiela was very understanding of our situation and assured me that everything was going to be okay. It was kind of hard to communicate with the staff since I'm not a fluent Spanish speaker (I fully understand Spanish though), but Grasiela answered every question and concern I can possibly have and made me feel welcome and promised me that my day would be special. Finally, July 2nd came and my wedding was set to be at 2pm and I couldn't have been more happy about my decision. It was waaaay better than I expected! The staff made sure my husband couldn't see me beforehand even though he was peeking! When it was my turn to walk into the chapel with my parents, the room was full of life and it looked more beautiful than when I would come visit when it was empty. The ceremony was very beautiful, thoughtful and emotional. Joseph was our minister and I truly felt that he cared, and that we weren't just another couple getting married. Most ceremonies are expected to be 10-15 minutes long but mine was about 40 minutes! Which was awesome:) another thing I forgot to mention that this chapel is located inside a traveling agency, I know most would probably feel iffy about the chapel being there because I did at first, but honestly it won't even matter the day of your wedding. I didn't even notice it the day of my wedding, it is very well kept. Thank you everybody at the Wedding Palace for making our day special! Out of the 10 days he was here this day was my favorite one!
