We really didn't have much to do since their package included everything we needed for our wedding and more. What I especially like about the chapel staff is, that even now after the wedding, they are still super-responsive and quick to help when I message with questions or remarks. The entire team understood how important that was and helped make the day feel so personal and full of love. Every little detail felt thoughtful, and we never once felt rushed. One of the most special things they did for us was accommodate a private first dance after our ceremony. It was such a simple request, but it became one of our favorite moments of the entire day. They even captured it on video for us, including a beautifully edited clip that we will treasure forever. Having that memory to look back on means more to us than I can put into words. I was the dj for a wedding for the first time at this venue. It's a small intimate venue but very…read morenicely decorated and put together. I think it's good for weddings of 50 or 60 or less. The staff was really friendly. I worked with Marco most of the night, and he was great. You don't need a very large sound system for this venue. They do include Uplights around the room, and even had some simple dance lights for ambience. Food was also tasty. For vendors, the setup was fairly easy. I got a spot in the shopping center parking lot, and was able to load right in. It looked like there was free street parking as well. They also do have an adjacent location for ceremony in the same shopping center that has similar decorations and theme. It looked nice as well from a quick glance inside.

We started planning our July wedding in January 2022, and we wanted to have everything outside so that guests wouldn't worry about masking indoors during the time of Covid. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. The Griffith House let us do all that.

They open the gates at 9am. The church used to be a Presbyterian, and has been around for 100 years. It is clearly well taken care of and very beautiful. We first met with Amanda, who assisted us with pulling the trigger with setting a date. Their packages are very affordable and include everything. From the design of your table arrangements, to the choice of your flowers, to what you want your guest to eat and drink. You even get a DJ included in the package. Oh! I can't forget about the cake from Torrance Bakery! Our next meeting was with Madi, who moved us along with the specifics and locked things down further into place. Fumi was the one who got us across the finish line on the day. She was there for us during the rehearsal and got our wedding party in line for everything to be perfect. Both the Atlantic room, and the bridal suite were really nice. After we tied the knot, we went and had a couple of drinks brought by Fumi, and cocktail snacks from our dinner captains Samantha and Kelli. It was a slightly warm day, but the AC units were working really good when it came down to taking photos with our family and friends. We moved on into the hall where it was beautifully decorated, and also well air-conditioned. We had a set up for 90 people, and dinner service went perfectly. Table by table people went and got food. Our dinner captains brought ours. Slices of beef, garlic, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, crispy chicken pieces, cheese, tortellini, and a roll. It was all delicious. I wish I had had more but my wife and I were the show. lol. Drinks are always brought to us and special thanks to Chelsea for taking care of our family and friends at the bar outside. They have four bar tables and a patio set to sit in for six. We decided to have the dancing up on the stage where Gio played some great music for us. The party can go on as late as 11 at this place, so don't expect to go into the morning hours of the next day. Gina will book a premarital appointment with the couple to get to know you. Then there's wedding rehearsal the day before your wedding. There seemed to be a lot of steps during the rehearsal but on the day of, the wedding coordinator and hostess will help guide the wedding party to ensure smooth ceremony, our ceremony was perfect and beautiful! They'll open up the church 1.5 hr before ceremony for pictures. There's a pianist who you can request songs for him to play. I also had little additions like including our own vows or doing a bouquet toss at the end which the reverent helped announce them!
