Yenmin was absolutely AMAZING! I did not expect to cry at all and the tears were FLOWINGGGGGG. She gave an option to do the ceremony in Spanish for my family and we did not expect that. Very professional and accommodating staff! The second Yenmin began to give the ceremony, I felt as if me and my husband were alone in the room getting ready to step into the next phase of our life. Very professional and fast! We wanted our wedding to be on our anniversary (Veterans day). They can come to you, or you can go to them. Now, we got married during the pandemic so it was very limited to what they can actually offer at their location. We brought in tripods to set up our phones to do a virtual wedding. I had Facebook live and my husband had zoom on his. This allowed all of our friends and family to attend from near and far. We got there at 1030am to set up and sign the documents. Then the ceremony started at 11am and finished at 11:11am! It did not take us 1 hour to get married, took us longer to set up than it did for the whole process lol. The BEST part is they do EVERYTHING that deals with paperwork for you! During covid, that meant everything because I didnt have to worry about going to file at the county, or deal with people. I know my sister-in-law got married at the same place and so did another colleague from work after we did.

The staff was really friendly. I worked with Marco most of the night, and he was great. You don't need a very large sound system for this venue. They do include Uplights around the room, and even had some simple dance lights for ambience. Food was also tasty. For vendors, the setup was fairly easy. I got a spot in the shopping center parking lot, and was able to load right in. It looked like there was free street parking as well. They also do have an adjacent location for ceremony in the same shopping center that has similar decorations and theme. It looked nice as well from a quick glance inside.

My best tip for someone looking to book is to be very organized and clear with every item you want if you are planning to bring your own decor, they are great and will get it done! But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. We started planning our July wedding in January 2022, and we wanted to have everything outside so that guests wouldn't worry about masking indoors during the time of Covid. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. If a Vegas style elopement or micro-wedding is what you have in mind, do not waste the opportunity on having it here at the Old Brown House.
