I saw Shayla this time. She did a decent job on my shellac pedicure. It could have been better. They really need to clean up the place as it looks kind of dirty. Spa pedicure was a decent price and not too bad depending on what you consider expensive. I paid 70 bucks for French spa pedi. I've paid more elsewhere. Not the best nail salon, but adequate. Ok if its urgent, but overall, consider elsewhere. read more

I should update that I think my finger is infected. One hurts when pressure is applied, is warmer than the rest and a little swollen. This place is large and has an enormous selection of gel colors. They offer many other services as well. Attached are images of my nails from today. Needless to say I'm going to go elsewhere to fix these. The shape isn't uniform, they're crooked and the gel looks globby. There was very little pride in the product created. read more

I wasn't at all satisfied with my full set with shellac. The nail tech was sloppy on hoe she applied the acrylic powder on top of the fake nail and went outside of the nail bed. I was peeling off the powder after my appointment. You can tell my nails are fake bc of how sloppy the appointment was. I won't return and will get my fill elsewhere read more

Yikes... what happened? The location is a sketchy part of town right across from the infamous McDonald's on 3rd. First of all the place is in need of some major updates. It's dirty. The chairs are gross with uncomfortable and patchy vinyl upholstery. The massage mechanism on the chair is super noisy and dragged across the fabric making a horrible noise. There was a man getting his pedicure that was clearly on drugs as he was nodding out on the chair and had slurred speech. They should have kicked him out. It just seemed rough around the edges. I don't think I'll ever go there again. The pedicure was not well done and they polish chipped right away. Just nope. No way. Yuck. read more

When I'm downtown with an hour to spare and my nails are starting to look bad, I like stopping by Myano for a $7 polish change. It's not super fancy and the polish change doesn't include a mini massage or a lot of the cuticle work that is usually part of a manicure (which I'm sure is also pretty cheap here), but they do shape your nails and I usually like getting a couple polish changes between manicures. The polish change appointments somehow take about an hour, so I'm guessing that their manicures take a very long time. Enjoy! :) read more

Worst massage ever! The woman was wearing a charm bracelet that kept hitting me and clinking. She raked her nails over me painfully, breaking the skin (see photo). She rammed her forearm across my spine until I asked her to stop. She raced through at lightning-fast speed like she was a child just playing around, and then she couldn't understand me when I asked her to slow down. After I was finally able to sit up and tell her enough, she did not understand me until I waved goodbye. Then she left the room and yelled something I did not understand. There is absolutely no way she was trained, and I was told by my acupuncturist and a massage therapist I saw later that day that this cannot be the end of this. I am going to report this company to the health department. I am still incredulous that they charged me for my harrowing experience. Final note: The language barrier I alluded to was beyond excusable; a basic understanding of contextual vocabulary is critical in a job like this. I didn't mind that they needed a translator when they were working on my nails, but when I was naked and vulnerable on a table in a darkened room in front of a stranger, I needed to trust that I was in front of a trained professional who could listen to AND understand my needs. I'm still upset about this, and I went there on June 26th. read more

Never, ever, ever get your lashes done here!! I usually go to a much more reputable place, but a vendor was treating me and my boss so we went. Both of us had HORRIBLE experiences. They said they have sensitive glue... They don't, and they used TONS of glue. My bosses eyes were bloodshot when we left because they got it in her eyes. My eyelids were swollen within a few hours of leaving and I had lashes actually glued to my eyelids!! I had to take them off with olive oil with 5 hours. Do not waste your time, money or health on this place... I would rate it a zero if I could. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I tried this place today because it was close to my job. I should have looked at the reviews.. worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I'm left with regret and missing skin. I shouldn't have tried to be nice and pay because they would not offer me a refund after I did. The lady who messed me up blamed my wounds on a hangnail. I waited for 2 months before writing this review... Just wanted to make sure I feel the same... The mani/pedi I took were the worst ones ever :( I got an infection in my toe... exactly the place where I asked the woman who was handling my Pedi, to stop pulling so hard... When it started to bleed they all started discussion in their language not letting me say a word so nobody else in the room will hear me complaining... very efficient I have to admit. I was about to stand out and walk in the middle, when another lady grabbed my hand and begged me to stay and it will be alright. Here is my 2nd mistake of the day... I stayed (1st mistake - I walked in and did not read the comments here). I know Myano are offering a punch card... which is a good deal. The infection and the service I got cannot be compromised by any good deal. Sorry, I hate to give bad review, but in this case, this place is a health risk. read more

I came here after work to get a long overdue fill. I didn't have an appointment. I just remembered that this place was close to where my old bus stop was and to my work. The lady at the reception desk, who asked me to wait for 10 minutes, turned out to be the person who would work on my nails. I waited about 2 minutes and she then escorted me back to her table. Tracy was her name and fast skills was her game. She was quick and precise with the acrylic concoction and her brush. I had had pink acrylic on before and she matched the fill perfectly. I asked for a square-round shape of the tips. She did it. I asked for shorter. I got it. She asked if I wanted the gel finish? I said no and she didn't push. We didn't have an Anjela Johnson moment. I asked her if she did eyebrows, too. She said yes. After reading all the reviews, I feel like I can't come back here unless Tracy is my girl. I have to update my review - I still refuse to get my nails done here - BUT, I will say I have been more than happy/ impressed/ flat out overjoyed with the eyelash extensions I get done here. For someone with super short (Asian) flat eye lashes, spending the $ to fake the eyelashes is worth it to get the fluttering lashes I could only previously dream of. Everyone in my office goes to Myano, I personally am always impressed with the time & care & attention to detail that AMY has given me on the fills. How her back doesn't kill her after the hour+ she spends hunched over my tiny stubs of lashes is beyond me - but I thank her! 5 stars for eye lash extensions! 1 star still for nails. read more

Hands down best lash place and nail place I've ever been to. Keep in mind I've been all over Seattle, east side (Bellevue and Kirkland), and all over California. I started coming here in October 2010 and I've never been disappointed. Rose has been doing my lashes all this time, with an occasional time or two with Mai (owner). Both are very talented and meticulous. I live in Ca now, but every time I come back to get my hair done at Salon Circa, I come to Myano as well to do my lashes. I promise...try this place out, go to Rose and thank me later. read more

Came here just to get my gel manicure removed. I was looking down at my phone when it started to hurt and I looked up and she was filing my nail down so far it was down to the raw skin right at the edge. My nails feel like they were beaten up, and she didn't even get all of the polish off. Would not recommend. read more

Overall great nail salon. Had to wait a bit but they did a nice pedicure and good job on my acrylic nails. Situated near Pike's Place Market you walk in and are immediately at ease. The place is very spacious, clean, modern, and staff friendly. They offer you choice of teas if you prefer and even choice of scents for your pedi. All services are reasonably priced and worth every penny. They have a ton of shelac colors but lack others to choose from in my opinion. All in all great nail salon and would certainly return. read more

After going in for a simple fill, I am wishing I would've torn off my acrylics with pliers rather than go through this experience. The whole time she complained about the previous tech's job (same salon) and why they needed to be fixed her way. She glued the nails to my fingers, leaving pools of dried glue on my fingertips, acrylic stuck to my cuticles and tried to cut my skin. The nails are clearly lifting after only 3hrs later. She layered so many coats of thick lumpy polish that it never dried. I finally had to take off the gloppy dented polish on my own. I was only charged $22 but I wish I never would have gone and that I could get these off my fingers. Any ideas how to take them off with minimal pain? read more

This place is well worth the time/money (for parking ) Tammy is absolutely amazing. I work at the Nordstrom in Bellevue and a customer of mine recommended this place. I was not disappointed! I got a full set of lash extensions today done in less than an hour. No burning, redness or irritation once they finished. My lashes feel weightless, like feathers. The length/curl is perfect. I was greeted with a joyful smile and handed a water within two minutes of my arrival. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Very clean.. pretty busy. I came in for the first time today January 26th at 5pm and I can tell you I have never had such a poorly executed manicure. The pictures described it all. Completely messy, there was no care put into it. It seemed like she was trying to rush me out. I'd rather be told to come back a different day then have a "nail artist" do such a sloppy job. Uneven, smudges, did not clean the surrounding nail polish on skin. My friend came with me and the woman that did hers did a great job. Hopefully you don't get the woman I was unfortunate to get. read more

Best lash place I have ever been to in Seattle! I was going to a place in west seattle but my friend told me about this place and I'll never go anywhere else! Sunny did an incredible job, and a fill only took 50 mins! The rooms were super relaxing and spa like comfortable and nice, they even had wonderful relaxing music playing. Sunny thank you so much! I came in last week to get a mani, pedi and waxed for my bday and will not be coming back!! My pedicurist did awesome, she was super sweet and my toes nails polish is still in tact, thankfully. But then it went down hill.. I got my eyebrows waxed and the lady didn't clean off all the wax! I left still picking the wax and my hairs out . My manicurist was moody as well as did a terrible job. She told her coworkers I was too needy and I wanted too much on my nails (nude color with a silver stripe)! My shellac manicure peeled in just one week! Technicians be careful of what you say I front of customers because clients do understand body language and you might have another customer like me who understands Vietnamese. I can guarantee you you will get more tips by doing this! It cost $100 for this. The location is awesome but for the price, service and quality needs to be improved! read more

The worst dip manicure I've ever had. My friend had been here before, and of course trusted her opinion. But the owner of the salon (who she had never been to specifically) did my nails. I called afterwards to see if he could make it right and refund me so I didn't have to post a review (shame on me for even paying, and tipping, in the first place!!), but he said they have a "no refund policy" and to come back in to get it fixed. Was so beyond over it at that point and it simply wasn't worth the risk, especially with my cuticles being cut so bad. I went to the salon I usually go to right afterwards and she did an incredible job and was also appalled at how atrocious of a job he did. Do not EVER go here!! Not safe, not professional and not worth the risk. Take your business elsewhere! read more

Fancy! We had two hours to kill before catching a flight home... what to do? We did all our shopping, ate our last seafood meal, how bout get pampered a bit! Yelp lead us here... Upon arrival, I wasn't sure if it was the type of place you had to make an appointment. With the nice reception area, it looked like a renowned spot! The woman, said they take walk-ins and invited me to the back. Alas! It's like any other nail salon, but fancier! They asked me to pick a nail color AND a lotion. COOL! I don't have to smell like that generic aloe green lotion. Jenny did a fantastic job on my manicure. She took her time and everything was precise. I loved how the salon was clean and well sanitized. I came in without a reservation, on a Friday afternoon. The reception desk welcomed me right away and I went into the pedicure area. There were not a lot of customers during that time, and got started on my relaxation right away. Kelly did a great job on my pedi. Complimentary non-alcoholic drink, and I was given multiple options on my pedicure. Opted for the basic one for $31. Kelly gave a great scrub and paint job! Not the best manicure I've ever had in my life but not the worst either. The girl I had barely spoke English and she didn't seem to understand when I told her I wanted rounded tips. I ended up with square instead. Oh well. She also scrubbed my hand a little too violently with the sander and caused me to bleed on my middle finger. She thought it would be best to then put freaking acetone or something equally as harsh RIGHT on my cut. Ouch. I almost shouted because it was so painful! Ugh, wtf? I had a French manicure (gel coat) and there was still dried blood near my cuticle and she basically just covered it with clear gel polish and now you can see the brown area on my nail. Ew. It also wasn't the cheapest manicure I've had before but it seems to be holding up well and looks professional for work. The girls were overall friendly and polite so I feel bad that this review isn't so great but really, they should improve their techniques. read more

My go-to salon when I'm visiting Seattle. The location is super convenient if you are downtown and they do a great job. The pricing is decent and the selection of colors is almost overwhelming. They are also always able to get me in without an appointment. Clean, good service, lots of colors and fair pricing - can't go wrong. read more

I've never had this problem before -- not at my previous nail salon in Seattle and not in all my years living in LA. So this has been especially frustrating. I'm currently only coming here because my longtime nail salon (Nice Nails) of nine years temporarily closed for remodeling. I'm counting down the days until they reopen in March. I truly wish I had a better experience to share, but consistency and longevity matter -- and that just hasn't been my experience here.

I started with a pedicure and was in pain the whole time. My toes were bleeding, the polish was smudged and there was no cleanup of the polish. First off, the place was pretty dirty and hard to move around because it was so cramped. They never offered the option to pick a color, I had to ask for the book of colors right before she painted. After the pedicure was done, I sat in the chair waiting for over 30 minutes as they continued to take new customers and work on the nails of other people sitting in the pedicure chair. I ended up walking out before they did my nails. I was very disappointed and I should not have paid for that. I will not be coming back. Hours later the polish rubbed completely off all over my furniture and it looks like my toe doesn't even have a nail I'm disgusted.
