Everyone is friendly and helpful, it's best to book an appointment ahead of time so they can plan for salon capacity and ensure you're taken care of. The salon has great covid protocols and gives you hand sanitizer once you walk in and takes your temperature. Once passing that, then you pick a color. Each seat has a sneeze guard glass and the chairs will be distanced for each party (ex: 2 separate people will be spaced with an empty chair between). This wonderful salon is truly a magical spot on Cap Hill! They're POC owned and work hard - they have a loyal customer base but still need support during this time. Be specific with what you want and be patient with communication because there's a language barrier. I loved my nails because I knew exactly what I wanted. I got an acrylic fill with shellac color. It was $35 + $5 extra for different colored polish. My manicurist did a fine job - again, nothing fancy. Had a great experience today getting a gel manicure and pedicure. I made appointments for two earlier in the week. We arrived and they were ready for us. The pedicure was very nice, included a hot stone massage and hot towels. My toes looked great. The gel manicure was also perfect. The little extra touches were super nice. The pedicure massage chairs are standard with the remote control. All the chairs are in the corner of the room with enough space between the chairs for both conversing with a friend or being left alone. This place was bad. I tried this place out because they had good reviews. Let me save you a trip and don't come here. The whole appointment was rushed, sloppy and I had to tell the guy that was doing my nails to fix the uneven gel job he did. Which sucks to do, I know they get irritated when people complain, I get it but my manicure looked really bad (see photos). My toes are even worse. He tried to fix it but then started speaking to his coworkers in his language which felt like he was complaining about me. I felt like this place was a little racist as well, I didn't get the amazing treatment everyone seems to rave about. Not worth it, don't go here. The only saving grace was the receptionist (man) he was very kind and nice. Great acrylic fill! I have gotten acrylics for approximately 2-3 years without a break, and I am very happy with the condition of my fill after a really poorly done one from another salon. They didn't even need to remove the bad set, they filed down and repaired the fill I had to really make it an appropriately shaped fill. I have gone back twice, and I have enjoyed my experience each time. I am a loyal customer to another salon, but this salon will definitely continue to see my occasional business. read more

This place was not good. First we walked in and asked for dip/sns since we saw it at the stations and advertised on the wall... we were told they could not do it because it was not available. Which doesn't make a ton of sense. Then when they started my nails they had to remove my dip... the man not only burnt me multiple times with the tool, but then cut me with another one.
