I went to this noodle house recently for lunch. I was trying to go to the burger place down the way, but they were closed on Sunday, so I had to make other choices. The name of the place is a bit misleading, as it is really a Chinese buffet restaurant. It appears like the place is relatively new, and the offerings on the buffet line are relatively limited. The food is decent, but you do run into that limitation. However, the price is right for what you get, so there is that. If you are in the area for lunch, and don't want to be stuck with fast food or Southern food that is too filling, then Mya's Noodle House isn't a bad option. It is a buffet, so you get your own food, but there is table service for drinks, and my waitress handled getting my water with no issues. The decor is minimal... this is really a hall designed to get people in, fed, and out again. I did find that there were a couple of tables that seemed too close to the buffet line, causing traffic issues of people going to and from the line. read more

Food was awful, people were friendly so I feel bad about the hard truth. Fried rice was bland flavorless, we didn't eat it. Lo mien had more flavor but chicken was weird so I only had a few noodles. i've been studying how to make Ramen and all sorts of other Japanese and Chinese food for quite a few years now, and I've also studied how to make the perfect steak and other things like this, but I gotta admit Mya's has got the formula down. The way they do, their Ramen is really close to authentic Asian Ramen, if not exactly like it. Also, their curry is to die for I'm a big curry connoisseur and I love the curry that they gave me. It may not be the spiciest curry, but boy does it have flavor. The servers are friendly and they have never messed up an order and that is saying something because I usually order a lot of food. I do like the setting and the feel, I only wish someone could come and help Mya's by fixing little things like their bathrooms and And just the general decoration on the outside and inside of the building. This place deserves an upgrade in setting because the food is just so good and the food is really good at helping you lift the mood if you're having a bad day. It's possibly my wife's favorite place to eat. Obviously the pricing is par for the course considering Florida is the most expensive anywhere you want to eat because of the inflation but at the same time the food is worth it and I don't find myself stressing out about the price because I am really enjoying the meal that I'm eating. Passing through so this review is based on one visit. They bring out a rather large amount of a sweet red dipping sauce for the fried wontons, which were nice and crispy. Our wonton and egg drop soups were very good. Teriyaki beef was very good and so was the vegetables with noodles. Egg rolls were especially good. Our waitress was handling the front by herself. Wasn't able to clean empty tables right away, but she hustled and waited on everyone in an impressive amount of time. We would go back if in the area again. read more

I was certain there couldn't be a great vegetarian-friendly restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. I was wrong. A small Southern town like Chiefland is likely to forgive my error, even if they do throw in a snarky "bless your heart". And I'd deserve that. There were so many tofu options that I'd almost come back out here just to try more of them. And why not? US 19 is a picturesque drive. Better yet, there are fresh fruit smoothies. Yummy vegetarian option for a long drive on a desolate highway. Fresh vegges and tofu with plenty of spice to heat up my rice noodle soup. I had the option to choose egg or rice noodles. I love rice noodles and made that selection. I have to be honest before I was served, I was a little sketchy...the parking lot and dining room were empty and a wasp was buzzing around inside. I trusted yelps reviews though and I'm glad I did. They even serve the old Sokol crunchy noodles at the table with warm sweet n sour sauce. I was pleasantly surprised for Chiefland! We are from the west coast and have really been missing some good Chinese food and/or some Pho. Saw the sign Mya's Noodle House and thought we would give it a try. Pretty basic decor, kind of old, but seemed clean. We were greeted right away and told to sit where we liked. Turns out it's Chinese not Pho. We arrived early and ordered from the early bird offerings. Hubby had roast pork with vegetables, fried rice and wonton soup. He was real happy with his decision. A generous portion with a great brown sauce. I ordered the roast pork lo mein, fried rice and wonton soup. The soup was very good and had three nice wontons in it. The lo mein was good, could have used a few more veggies in the mix, thicker noodles that what I'm used to. The fried rice was a little dry and bland, but, when you mixed it in with your other food, it was fine. For $6.95 a plate, you can't go wrong. I even ended up bringing some home. Yuck. Awful. Our first and only time going here was This past Saturday. Dine in was closed but we used the drive thru. The menu posted is confusing. I ordered veggie fried rice with an egg roll. We also ordered teriyaki beef and fried rice along with sliced roasted pork with fried rice. The lady at the window could t understand what we were trying to order and wasn't very friendly. We have our order and drove around to wait. We waited about 20 minutes and she brought the food to us. I got brown steamed rice, soggy cabbage and broccoli, and a semi cold egg roll. Hubby's pork was slimy and inedible and also only had brown steamed rice. Same with the beef teriyaki. This was the worst Chinese food we've ever had and we won't be going back! read more

Best Chinese I've found in Florida. Small restaurant, service isn't great, but is efficient, it is what is expected from employees whose primary language is not English. It's really hard to find considering there is another Asian restaurant called "Miya's" in the same plaza. They are at the Sears end of the Winn Dixie plaza, set in their own lot, closer to the road. The cons: My smoothie was wrong, albeit delicious. My soup came with the wrong noodles, I had to ask for my egg roll three times. The rest: We were served quickly and their "chips" they serve are DELICIOUS and the duck sauce is warm which is cool. The pupu platter is huge but the teriyaki beef was basically just fatty bits. spring rolls have shrimp in them. Cucumber salad was good but could've been fresher. My shrimp noodle soup was amazing even if the noodles were wrong. I got fried tofu in brown sauce and it's not deep-fried, just pan-fried with no coating at all. It was just OK. Hate to ding local establishments, but this place is mediocre, probably even for Chiefland where your options are extremely limited. My husband were passing through and tried it. We both got beef dinners, and as one 2017 review stated, the meat was like jerky. That was our experience. Both dishes were also pretty greasy even though neither was a fried dish. My and I were looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in Chiefland Fl. and were told that Mya's had the best! All we can say is that if that is the best I hate to see the others. We ordered take-out and the food was bland and over-cooked. The best part of the meal was the spring rolls. That's not what you expect when you spend almost $25 for a meal. The best place to get any frozen beverage from!! The drinks are all the same size (which is a large) and are for a great price. The food is soooo delicious too. I have been here a few times and Mya's Noodle House is one of my faborite restaurants in a small town like Chiefland. read more
