Now The Spa at the Hotel has come to conquer the Luxury Spa experience in College Park. Vibe: I LOVE IT! Upscale, Intimate, and the amenities are perfect! Quality: Luxury hidden in College Park! I booked a Swedish Massage to start my bday week. They gave me a discount and a little gift, that was super sweet! So unexpected. Tyesha was fantastic. The hot stones put an extra touch on my visit. I definitely give this place 5 stars! Will be coming back more often. Parking is free up to 12 hours, you can use the amenities of the Hotel; pool, gym, and you can use the relaxation area in the Spa. You could totally be here for 8 hours. My suggestion to get the most out of this experience is book early! They also have a salon! Loved to see stylist of all races! Love it! Since this is just up Rhode Island, it's quick in and out the city! Thank YOU to the girls for being amazing! Xoxo

I came at…read morelike 9:57 am for my 10am appointment (I don't love to wait in the relaxation rooms--I prefer to get taken straight back to my service). They show me around, very sweet front desk woman---and I get changed. I go to the relaxation room to get picked up for my service and I am just waiting. 10:10 am rolls around, 10:15. Eventually the woman comes back and she says "I'm sorry but the masseuse is not coming in today and there is only one person scheduled per day because summer is slow" ?????? I was just sitting there kind of dumbfounded because we didn't know she wasn't showing up before 15 minutes into my service? Mind you, I took off work to come to this so I'm not getting paid and know it's getting cancelled. So she's looking to reschedule me, and I'm like "ok well can I talk to a manager about a discount because this is kind of crazy" and she's like "yea idk maybe they can call you tomorrow". Eventually she comes back and she's like "oh one of the other ladies will come in but not till 11" so I'm like ok...and I asked for snack (bc I was planning on eating after but now it's pushed back an hour). She brings a bar and champagne which was nice, and I sit for 45 minutes waiting for the next lady. I get called back and she's asking how much pressure, I say light pressure and she's like "ok bc deep pressure we will charge you extra!" After I waited 45 minutes for an inconvenience...ok! So, I get on the table, the room is FREEZING like had to ask her to turn it up, she does --it's manageable now but still cold and she gets to work but her hands are absolute ice which took away from the service. Then, she absolutely digs into each and every muscle after i said light pressure--so I ask to lighten it up nicely and she's very nice and tries but it didn't go well. I, then, get into the shower to rinse off and I put the water all the way to hot bc I'm cold from the room---it's all the way on hot and the water is cool at best. I'm in there like shivering. I don't know what's going on today but I would implore people to find somewhere else. The employees are very sweet and kind but everything else just made it a subpar experience and for $250+ a service, things like this just should not occur in my opinion.

Unfortunately, the quality of service has declined, and it now feels as though anyone regardless of training or skill level is allowed to provide massages. Today, I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment but wasn't seen until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. I ended up leaving the treatment room just 12 minutes into the session. The service was completely unskilled: rushed, inconsistent, lacking rhythm, and missing the foundational techniques that define a competent, professional massage therapist. A skilled therapist uses intentional pressure, consistent/proper flow, and an understanding of muscle anatomy to create a therapeutic and cohesive experience none of which were present. Realizing the session was doing more harm than good, I made the decision to end it and leave. The front desk staff clearly knew something had gone wrong, as my early departure was obviously due to dissatisfaction. Yet I was still charged $139. Not only is that unreasonable, but deeply unprofessional. When I called for clarification, I was met with a scripted cancellation-policy explanation given by the same employee who witnessed me ending the service early and leaving the studio upset. Only after pressing for details was I told I'd need to speak with a manager. The entire interaction was dismissive, confusing, and frankly, insulting. This visit brought frustration instead of the relaxation this business is supposed to offer. And for anyone who believes the service I received, particularly from Pam, is acceptable, I can assure you they have not experienced a true massage from a trained, skilled professional.

The service I continuously receive is on point. Keith and Dr. Thomas are friendly people. Dr. Thomas is knowledgeable and has helped me figure out some other things with my health that I should pay attention to. I really appreciate this as it can be hard to navigate your health when doctors sometimes treat you as a number and not a patient. The price for their services is also fair compared to other places in the DC area. I really like this place. 5 Stars!

The results have been outstanding; exceeding those from when I had laser hair removal done in an expensive Downtown DC dermatologist's office. Dr. Thomas and Keith clearly take pride in skincare and it's always a plus for me when I can get my skincare needs met by black doctors. The new office is spacious, light, and super comfortable with very easy parking. Despite the settings Dr. Thomas and Keith always treat you like family so it's never stuffy. Going in for my treatments is like catching up with one of your aunties. I will gladly continue to patronize this small owned business as long as they are around.

I booked the appointment online and put down the necessary deposit. They were running a special for the month of January- 10% off during weekdays and it included aromatherapy. The 10% off did not automatically apply and I'm pretty sure I didn't get the discount. Parking- street parking if available. We lucked up and got a spot right in front of the spa. No paying a meter was required. My massage therapist was Mike and my husband's massage therapist was Kimberly. The couple's room was tight so I could feel, see and hear every time my husband's therapist talked to him or when she moved. My husband felt that Kimberly just couldn't get the pressure right even though she asked. He also felt like she took a break after every touch so there was awkwardly long waiting periods. He said her touch was often too soft even though he told her the pressure wasn't enough. She was pleasant; notwithstanding, she just wasn't the right therapist for him. Mike also asked me once about the pressure and at the time, it was okay. As the massage went on, it became uncomfortable. In all fairness, I should've spoken up. The elbow and forearm down the back and around the shoulders was the most painful. We got the massages on Monday morning and I'm still in pain on Wednesday. This is the first time I've asked for a male massage therapist and boy could I tell the difference. The pressure alone was intense. The best part was the scalp rub and the lavender scent (although there was something mid-massage that smelled like mildew). When asked what areas of focus before starting, I mentioned that I wanted my mid-back and arms focused on because I have carpal tunnel. Those areas weren't paid any special attention--they were simply apart of the regularly scheduled program - upper left, then upper right, then lower left, the lower right, then flip and repeat and end with scalp. This was the process for both my husband and I though he was flipped front a lot sooner than I was. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning if I'm in the area and trying another therapist.
