The staff member who brought me back for my exam told me that before I can get glasses they have to do a $125 medical exam on me because I am diabetic. This was not mentioned when I called to make the appointment. It does not make sense. I have a doctor who is managing the diabetes. If I wasn't taking care of myself and didn't even know I was diabetic, they would have done the exam and sold me glasses without charging me for a medical exam. It seems they are trying to find ways to separate people from their hard earned money.

Plus it was an afternoon appointment so they had plenty of time to have it cleared off. The male receptionist just said, "That's up to the city".
