I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I took my daughter in for an eyeglasses exam and the Doctor rushed through it and didn't seem too friendly towards my daughter. After we received her glasses my daughter complained about her not being able to see okay and she was told that her eyes need some adjustment to the new prescription. After a one day use my daughter complained about headaches, so I called and requested a different doctor to re examine her. Sure enough her prescription was different the second time and they needed to order her another pair of glasses. The estimated time of arrival is a month after her glasses were ordered which is way longer than what they usually take. read more

My review is old but still valid. Worst myeyedr location I've ever been to. Will stick with the Lansing location. Was lied to at this location and overcharged. Told the receptionist who my insurance was with they ran something old. Now if i allowed the visit with the incorrect insurance when the claim denied down the line then what?? I was told I had a nerve edema, which could be an emergency. The doctor said he would reach out to a specialist. After 2 weeks and no follow up I called just to be informed that the specialist's offfice NEVER received the fax. As a medical professional dealing with a potential emergency, the least you could do is make sure your faxes are being received and follow up on potential emergencies. read more

Went in for a routine eye exam and contact prescription. I was aware of the exam cost, got the hard sell on the retina photo, and then sat down to order my contacts. The price DOUBLED from the last time I got contacts through them. There was a $140 "contact fitting fee" that I was NOT made aware of before I sat down to pay. My daughter is the eye glasses wearer in the family so I was happy when I found out that they did accept my insurance and also had a special display case thats was my provider's own personal selections that if selected would be no cost I was a little agitated because I took the initiative to go online and fill out the paperwork to fill out the insurance information and call with it but yet when I got there I still had to fill it out again in the young lady said was no longer in the computer which was really weird I like that they have Saturday appointments and they are opened some nights as late as 8 p.m. my daughter's glasses is coming a couple weeks so I will update this review to see if everything goes well read more

This is my first visit at this eye doctor, everyone is so nice and willing to answer questions! my eye doctor (Dr. Austin) was amazing and explained everything very thoroughly, i've never seen photos of my eyes before and that was very cool to see, and he explained the health of my eyes, what they were looking for etc, and i will definitely be coming back! read more

If I could make this a negative star I would. Let me say everyone in my house wears glasses and I usually spend quite a bit. However, after today I do not recommend anyone enter this establishment. My daughter had her eye exam about 2 weeks ago. Dr. Ruiz was great. We came back today and were treated like scum of the earth. Came in door and no one answered. Then a patron in the store told one of the staff we were there. We called twice to let them know we were running late and they said it was ok. The Hispanic woman (Optician) that answered the door was rude. She asked another nasty attitude staff member to look up our appointment. I explained that I called to make sure it was okay to come. This person flung the door open and told us they couldn't see my daughter. I asked for the manager they said I could call "Kourtney" tomorrow. I will not spend another dime on glasses here. Ended up going to Costco and found my daughter cute frames. You have loss my business and I will see if I get a response from Kourtney tomorrow. Don't waste your time read more

Like most people here, I would give this place a zero star rating if I good. Let me first say that I have been a customer here for several years and have gone through all the name changes at this location. If you want to be treated like a leper, go here for your eye care needs. My last visit I was treated like I have some disease. Call first on your phone to gain access, set through the first set of doors and have your temperature checked, step into the lobby and get a drop (and I mean a drop) of hand sanitizer, and then told to go sit in the corner. Since I was there for my yearly check up, I was expecting all the usual tests for my eyes. But no, just one or two tests and I was done with that part. So I have to assume all the other stuff they test for is okay with my eyes. Like I said earlier, I have been a customer for years and I normally see the same doctor. When I made my appointment, I asked to have my visit with my usual doctor. But no, I was given to some other doctor who I have never seen before. When I asked about the my regular doctor, my question was just shrugged off. I was given a set of yearly contacts, that once opened can't be returned, that are not all that great to see out of. And now I depend on using reading glasses for most things. Helpful hint, you can some really nice readers next door at the dollar store for a buck. In the past, you would be given a trail set of contacts to try and see how they work before taking the plunge on a full order. Maybe it's time to venture out a find another place for eye care that takes care of the patient. read more

My appointment was made over a month and half ago and they cancelled it for tomorrow!! They wanted confirmation even though I haven't missed an appointment in two years. I told them I am coming in and they said no your not. We cancelled it and your child. My husband went last week and it took him over 30 minutes to get there and they sent him away cause he forgot his insurance card instead of letting him email or text it after his appointment. Very disappointed expected the same service as the previous years but they must have change their staff. Would not give any stars if that was an option. read more

Horrible service lady cancelled my appointment cause she can. I told her I am coming and she's like no your not we replace you with someone else. Must be the same lady that said in March there is no appointment until May then a week later I called and they saw my sons right away in beginning of April. Now I have to find a new doctor office that doesn't have to be 2 stars to beat this place. read more

Jaime was awesome! She originally helped my husband out and he insisted I go to her. She was very informative and helped him to utilize his insurance for his contacts . The staff was very friendly and very patient. Everybody had masks on and made sure to follow all safety precautions. I felt good knowing the doctor sprayed down everything infront of me before I even sat down in the chair. read more

Would give this 0 stars. After waiting weeks for an appointment, I sat and waited for 50 minutes before walking out. Dr took several walk in people in front of me. When I asked why I was waiting so long they blamed it on having to clean the machines after each patient. Waiting 50 minutes for an eye exam that literally takes 5 minutes to conduct is ridiculous. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Went here for glasses for my son and husband. Son's glasses arrived with no problem. Husband's were another story! They were supposed to arrive in 2-3 weeks. Two weeks go by get a call that glasses arrived but were tinted. Said they'd put a rush on them and they would be in next week. A week goes by don't hear from anyone. Two weeks go by my husband calls and they tell him they will be in in another 2 weeks. He questioned how that was a rush. No one quite had an answer for him. Finally he calls back and cancels the glasses. No one ever called to apologize or try to make things right. Will never go back here again. No customer service! read more

They have terrible customer service. I called to reorder my contacts. I told them I had some insurance money left to use towards the price. I told them they had to call my insurance to get an authorization code. She told me repeatedly I couldn't use my insurance more than once a year. As someone who has been with this insurance and done this for 6 years I knew that was not true. She refused to call my insurance company. I called my insurance they assured me that I had money left and could use it. I called back got a different employee. I explained the situation she did call the insurance. I told her I didn't appreciate being called a liar. I didn't appreciate the refusal to use my insurance money. I said I wanted my prescription because I would go elsewhere. Not once was I offered and apology for how poorly I was treated. She did not care at all. Horrible service do not recommend. read more

My husband, son and I had our appointment for our yearly check up on 4/9/21. We were greeted by a young lady who was very courteous and friendly. (Unfortunately, I don't recall her name) She also performed our pre exams before we saw Dr. Jawdi, who was also very professional and thorough. We then met with Geron, and again he was very patient and helpful in making our choices for glasses. On 4/15/21 I received an email that our glasses were ready. We just left the office and our experience today was a terrible one. Elizabeth opened the door, without any type of greeting and in a very upsetting tone asked why we were there. I explained I had received an email that our glasses were ready. She asked if we had made an appointment and I said no,that I was told on our first visit that we didn't need to make an appointment to pick up glasses. She replied, "well you should've made one" and directed us to sit on the chairs, still with a very nasty tone and attitude. She brought out the glasses and kept her nasty attitude throughout us trying on our glasses. Never excusing herself or changing her Nasty tone. I understand that during this pandemic we all are taking precautions and maybe I did need to make appointment, but I was told I didn't have to. Nonetheless, this is not how you treat any customer!!! No re guard for long term customers. The glasses for my two kids came back with the goofy looking blue transitions lenses. We where told they would order the correct ones and call us and when the correct ones came in we could return them or keep them for 50 percent off. We got a call a few days later blaming the lab for the mistake. They wanted us to either come back in and send the glasses back for the correct lenses and wait a couple weeks or to come back in and have the frames traced so they can make new lenses, and wait again. When I told them I don't want traced lenses and will return them and get a full refund and they will loose a long term customer Courtney the manager just didn't care. To put customers out or make them return and wait weeks because of their mistake is unacceptable. read more
