My dad had an appointment at this office. He checked in, they made him fill out paperwork and then proceed to tell him that his appointment is now cancelled because he was 10 minutes late! This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Most offices have a 15 minute grace period. If he was 10 minutes late and not going to be seen, why did they make him fill out paperwork? We called back today to discuss with someone in office and were put on hold for 17 minutes. Mind you, it took THREE months to get this appointment for an emergency visit, my dad could NOT see out of his left eye, it was not a routine visit!! Avoid this office - they do not care about patients! Very rude staff!! read more

I hadn't had an eye exam since leaving California 2+ years prior, and my insurance was due to end in a couple weeks, so decided to try and get in for a check-up. Gf said she couldn't get one until January, but that was due to her being diabetic. I was able to get one by the end of the month. Walking in, it looks like any other eye doctor I've been to: reception area, fitting room with walls of frames, and exam rooms in the back. I was greeted and did not have to wait too long before being called back. The tech began with the standard tests, but said that part of the exam would be done "virtually", by a doctor located elsewhere. (this is part of the reason I could get an appointment so quickly) While fairly unimportant, it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The exam was quick, professional, and I was surprised to learn my prescription was still the same, even after my Covid coma, etc. I went to the fitting room and picked out a frame with the help of the gal there. My frames were ready in about two weeks. I'll likely give five stars next time, unless there are other surprises. read more

I had a very bad experience this morning had an appointment at 8:30 a.m did the initial visit were told to sit in the hallway sit there from 9am to 940am before I were told something is wrong (virtual video visit) I asked the assistant could the optometrist that was there see me and she said no that he was booked for today so I asked can I come back later on this morning they said no has I were going out the door oh do you want to be seen now l said NO never again to this MyEye facility very unprofessional staff hippa was not in place doors wide open when other patients were been seen in heard everything and saw everything Never Again !!! This is the best experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. Dr. Cotter was incredibly attentive and informative, taking the time to explain the details. They do not respect their appointments. I had an appointment set up for 3:40pm and took off work to get some much needed glasses. I was told that they gave my appointment to somebody else. She then blamed the I.T. team for it. I showed her the email confirming my appointment. She said they could see me in December. They owe me 8 hours of sick time I cant get back for taking off work due to their incompetence. Stay clear of this joke of a place. If you make a mistake, you need to make it right other than making excuses. Stay late, work me in, but don't make me suffer due to your incompetence. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this office! First time visit on 02/14 & I was very pleased with my experience. I've always been self conscious about how bad my vision is and I was totally at ease here. The doctor took time to ask questions and educate me on the importance of contact lens care and other eye care issues. He had a great sense of humor and I could really tell he enjoys what he does and told him so. The young lady that helped me pick out new frames and order contacts was very friendly, as well. I received my contacts within a couple of days and glasses in less than a week. read more

Long story short-Dr. Cotter is wonderful. He takes time to talk to you and answer any of your questions. Lizette is also wonderful. She listens and is very informative. Long story long-I have been trying for over a year to get contacts that work. I was seen at a location hours away and they ordered trial contacts. I ended up moving and realized the contacts did not work out for me. The original location let me know that any doctor within MyEyeDr should be able to do a recheck on me so they called the Eden location. They were unorganized and didn't seem to know much. Ultimately, they said that their doctor would not be able to do a recheck on me. They asked that I call the Madison location to see if a doctor there could do the recheck. I called and they seemed a bit more organized but informed me that the doctor there wouldn't know how to do the recheck. Honestly, it would have been the same as if one of their patients ordered trial contacts and they didn't work so the doctor would just do a recheck. I'm sure it would be a bit more difficult on someone that wasn't their original patient, but they could just read the patient's chart. I was then referred to the Reidsville location and Dr. Cotter accepted to do a recheck on me. The second trial contacts seemed to work so I ordered contacts, but when they came in they ended up not fitting well. I called the office to see if there was anything that could be done and they told me that a manager would need to approve a recheck but they didn't have one so I would have to call another location and talk to that manager. I figured I wouldn't bother since Dr. Cotter was so nice to help me as much as he did. I was willing to take the loss of 400.00. A week ago I ended up going to the office to get glasses so I can see somehow. Lizette was asking me questions and we ended up talking about my contacts situation. She went out of her way to talk to Dr. Cotter and he agreed to see me again. It's been a year since my initial visit and I am still in the process of getting the right prescription. It's been stressful, but I am grateful that both Lizette and Dr. Cotter are helping me through this. read more

Very short wait time and the Dr. was friendly and professional and explained each step of the process and made some very positive recommendations. Ashley who helped with my selections was very personable and helpful with my choices and at checkout a newer employee, Jill Richardson, was very friendly and fit right in with the team at this office. The pollen this spring has been unbearable. My eyes were watering and itching worse than I have ever experienced. I finally decided to visit the eye doctor to see exactly what the problem was. My family had already been patients at this location of My Eye Dr, so I got an appointment. I only had to wait one day to get in, and when I arrived, I was greeted promptly. The assistant called me back within 5 minutes, and went over my health history, and Dr Cotter came in as she finished up. He took a look at my eyes, and we decided on a course of treatment. I checked out quickly and was on my way, within 20 minutes of my arrival. I have since made an appointment for an annual eye exam, and I am confident that this is the best place for my family. In fact, living in Reidsville, many people sometimes choose doctors in Greensboro, because there are more choices there. In this case, I would choose this office over the other eye doctors available in both cities. read more
