    Chicken gyro

A really good gyro shouldn't be hard to find. Most often they are found in places tucked away or a fair during the summer. I am happy to share that I was able to experience kind service with more conversation than "what do you want to order?" This was my first experience at Mykonos Gyro. They have been open for 5 months now. I was greeted right away, provided a skim through the menu and a promise that the food would be good. I ordered a large gyro and a large chicken gyro, but before I ordered the chicken gyro, I needed to make sure that I wasn't going to get chopped up chicken breast that is tough to eat. I was assured that the chicken gyro meat was similar to the lamb gyro meat. TBH that made my day. In addition, I ordered Jalepeno poppers as well. All food was to go. You do have the online option to order, Uber eats and Doordash. I needed the full experience for my first adventure. I got home with the food about 20 minutes later and it was still warm. These gyros were served with fresh cut fries. I didn't have malt vinegar, but will remember that next time. The Jalepeno poppers were a great size, not a spicy Jalepeno and combined with cheddar cheese NOT cream cheese. The cheddar in this popper was perfect and not the kind that will cause heartburn later. Alright, now for the gyros. Stuffed with a nice shredded iceberg lettuce, perfectly sliced tomato (easy to eat with the gyro without falling out), red onion and tzatziki sauce. I should have asked for extra sauce, but I was distracted by the homemade baklava. Mykonos Gyro definitely gets kudos on polite service and a quality chicken and regular gyro. I am excited to go back.

Gyros are great and the tzatziki sauce is excellent! They serve only large portions. I got a small gyro and fries but still couldn't finish it. The chef's wife makes the baklava herself and it's yummy . Fast and friendly service dine in or order online for pick up.

I am a Gyro connoisseur and Mykonos is the real deal. Their gyro is right up there with everything I've tried including overseas. The fries are spot on as well. The ambiance inside is great. One more thing, for people ordering gyro's - it is pronounced "yee-roh" not GY-Ro. I cringe every time I hear it pronounced incorrectly.

What a welcomed addition to the Mentor culinary scene. Mykonos is serving up delicious Mediterranean style cuisine. They also are open late which is great especially for a late night meal. The Gyro's we got were delicious and fresh, we tried the chicken gyro and Mykonos fire gyro which is their spicy version of the original staple. When walking into the restaurant we were promptly greeted and the service was exceptional. I plan to continue to come to this restaurant since the prices are great and the food is tasty. If you're looking for a quick meal this is a wonderful place with indoor seating if you wish to dine in.

We walked right in on a Saturday evening. We chose Mykonos because it wasn't super busy and we had a hangry toddler. If more people find out about this place, I guarantee you it won't be empty on a Saturday night. It was absolutely fantastic. The best falafel I've had in a long time, followed by a great gyro and the best baklava I've ever had. The guys were incredibly nice and obviously took great pride in their food. The should!

First visit and it was worth it. Gyro was made with fresh ingredients and the French fries were cooked fresh. I'll definitely be back.

Zina's Greek Street Food is my favorite local Greek cuisine. I picked up spontaneous lunch here…read moretoday. This restaurant is like a year round Greek festival with considerably tastier food. It's really SO GOOD! Forget any other gyro you had, this is THE gyro. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe, clean and bright. There's a very IG worthy Greek mural inside. There are a few very comfortable tables to dine in inside and outside. Most guests take their meals to go (you can also pre-order for pick-up via Uber Eats). This eatery is always quiet and peaceful. Employees are always super friendly and attentive. Food is always prepared super quickly, took maybe 5 minutes this time. You can tell that there's a very high level of commitment to quality and good ingredients here. I ordered Classic Lamb Street Gyro (comes with fries), Lemon Rice Pilaf, and Zoe's Rice Pudding. Lamb Street Gyro was incredible as always. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed into a soft, slightly chewy homemade pita. What really stands out to me every time is the balance -- the meat, the fresh tomato and onion, plus tzatziki on the side. They really get gyros right every single time! Accompanying fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I immediately ate all of them. You can order fries on your gyro or separately. I prefer to munch on them separately but on the gyro also often hits the spot. Rice pilaf was flavorful but unfortunately I got the feeling it wasn't fully cooked through. That didn't stop be from eating all of it. I devoured my Zoe's Rice Pudding. It's perfectly creamy and has such a good amount of cinnamon. I wish that I would have paired it with coffee but it was my first time experiencing it, and I couldn't stop eating it. I'm telling you, try the pudding. I was very happy with my meal. Also, I've tried other meals at this place in the past including Chicken Street Gyro, and Baklava. One of the guests at the restaurant was very talkative and mentioned that they make really good burgers (daily special). If you're feeling adventurous, you can always build your own bowl or build your own platter. Parking is a bit complex. Enter the parking lot from the right of the restaurant to park close otherwise you'll see Do Not Enter signs preventing you from entry. If you love Mediterranean food or just want something fast, fresh, and a little different from the usual, Zina's is absolutely worth a stop. I'm already planning to go back and trying baklava cheesecake. If you love Zina's, check out other establishments by the same owner - Chicken Ranch next door and Market on Lee.

The build-your-own bowl was pretty expensive at $19 with lamb meat, luckily the size was okay. Of course it would have been cheaper had I gone in-store. Feta cheese and kalamata olives were extra, but I had those at home, so I didn't add them. There was a good amount of lamb meat in the bowl and the pita was huge. I got the tzatziki yogurt sauce, as well as the Zina vinaigrette. The vinaigrette is thicker than one would expect, and garlicky, but I enjoyed it. The lamb wasn't especially seasoned, but it was good. Overall solid lunch choice, and I have leftovers for dinner.
