I've been going to Angelique for about 2 years now and I'm thrilled! I have short, straight lashes that definitely needed help. Angelique helped assess my lashes, the style (curve, diameter, shapes ) that fit my look & style - and we decided on a "cat eye" type style - LOVE! I get so.many.compliments. I can go out with no makeup running to the store hoping no one sees me and I'll still get "Wow, your eyes are gorgeous!" Angelique is gentle and FAST with her technique. Gals - even if you're a bit antsy or nervous about someone working with your eyes - don't be! She's gentle, reassuring, and you'll never really even realize the magic she's working until she's done and you see the results! Plus, her work is flawless and LASTS. Just follow the rules (don't get wet/ damp/ humid for at least 24 hours) and take care of them and you'll be so happy! I never have to worry about my lashes again - no lash curlers, no mascara (or mascara smears or running). I just wake up and BAM! awesome eyes. All I do is sometimes take a spooley brush to brush them gently, and after I wash my face or shower I gently pat my eyes dry and then nudge my lashes to snap back to their awesome shape gently with the spooley brush. Angelique will work with you for any special occasions, or trying a different look as well. She's helped me with a more temporary, but fab look for a trip where I tried a thicker diameter lash for more dramatic impact for a few weeks (then back to my cat eye look!). But Angelique is a pro with a lot of experience - she'll definitely be straight with you if what you want won't work with your lashes, or your maintenance lifestyle - and she only uses the best quality lashes & glue. She's in the gorgeous & established Umberto Salon, and the location is also great for the neighborhood with shopping, dining, and a really cute nail place down the street. So my story began about 3years ago and a horrifying experience with another lash lady. I had clumps and lost a chunk of my lashes.
