I'm so sad to report that this restaurant is under new management and the food is now terrible. Myra Cafe used to be our go-to for Thai. Honestly I felt that it was one of the best restaurants in Apex. But whoever bought this place changed the menu, the recipes, and the prices. A to-go order of pad Thai, drunken noodles, and a wings appetizer should not be $65?! What's worse is the food was almost inedible. The dishes went from being a 10/10 to a 2/10 at best. I am so devastated to lose what once was a great Apex restaurant. Portions were smaller, they got rid of their croissant program, and the dishes don't taste fresh and flavorful anymore. What a disappointment, I would not recommend this place at all.

The food was amazing! We had the Spicy Basil Rice with Chicken and Drunken Noodle with Chicken, and enjoyed both. The dining experience was not what I expected for a sit down restaurant with a cocktail menu. The service friendly but rushed. The cocktail I ordered never came, and the food was served as it was ready - mine came out first, then my husband's 3 min later. The food came out very quickly, so I didn't bother reminding our server about the drink.

Everyone that worked here was very friendly and we had great service. For our first visit it was just my husband and I. We started with the Pork Belly buns. The flavoring was good but the buns seemed a little dry. They were just ok and not something we would try again there. For my meal I had the Drunken Noodles and they absolutely did not disappoint. My husband had the Crazy Fire Ramen of which he also enjoyed. I enjoyed mine to the point it would be hard for me to try something else next time. There was a lot of flavor to it and perfect spice and a lot of chicken - and the broad noodles were a good choice. Happy that we finally tried it out and look forward to going back again in the future.

Cute little restaurant with great service. Ordered beef Drunken noodles sooo tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice and spartan clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. They need to update their online menu because it contains stuff that are not on the menu when you walk into the shop. So beware. I know it should be expected it but the fried spring rolls came straight out of the microwave pippin hot and was just average. The crazy fire, Ramen while tasty was a bit unusual. The plate came with a knife which you needed to cut the food into more manageable sized pieces . I've never seen that at any other Thai restaurant. The food is just as good as any other Thai restaurant. However, the prices are a bit over the top. Maybe try their lunch, which is a little more reasonable .

We wanted to continue supporting local businesses and Myra happened to be open on New Year's Day! This was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint! Service was quick and attentive. Pricing was fair considering the quantity and quality. The ambiance was quite cute with various character decor pieces. The food I ordered... Drunken Noodles - the noodle flavor and texture was ON POINT, i almost wish I had less chicken and more noodles for my dish. Spicy level was light. Cashew Chicken - was a part of their lunch special and included a fried spring roll. The SAUCE was delicious and I couldn't honestly just ate that with the rice and cashews. BonChon Chicken - the flavor was there. The crispiness wasn't AS crunchy as I expected it to be, but flavor and tenderness was good!

Great food and service. We are regulars. Tonight we had pineapple fried rice. Excellent!

This is a nice place and we need somewhat healthy restaurants in Apex. It is individually owned that I appreciate. All the food we had was good. I loved that the fried spring roll was GF. They were very accommodation with GF and cooked items especially for us. There were interested knick knacks adorning the place and a very large outdoor area. We will be back.

Legitimately might be the best tasting Drunken Noodles I've ever had. While it's not the same recipe I've seen typically (no onions or peppers and it has shredded carrots and bean sprouts), the homemade chili paste they use is unbelievably flavorful. Huge amounts of chicken included as well. Potentially a little pricier than some hole in the wall spots, but worth every penny.

I finally got a chance to visit this restaurant and was pleasantly pleased. The staff was very nice. The restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. We ordered the shrimp pad thai...the pineapple fried rice...chicken wings..spring rolls and pork belly bahn mis. All and I mean ALL of the food was amazing. The ingredients were fresh. The portion sizes were adequate and the flavor was spot on. The shrimp in the rice and noodle dishes were huge. I highly recommend this spot.

A friend and I had a great lunch here today! We arrived at 11:30, just as they opened, and we were able to order and get our food very quickly. I loved the drunken noodles. They had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai, with more sweetness than spice. Both entrees were from the lunch menu and included a small spring roll. Service was friendly and efficient, and our water glasses were kept full. Prices were reasonable, and portions were perfect for lunch. There is plenty of parking on the side, out front, and across the street. The space is small and modern and filled up quickly, even on a rainy Tuesday, so try to arrive early.

This is our second time here in a month. We really like the ambiance, menu options and that they are willing to make any meal vegetarian. The staff is so nice and the food is obviously made to order. I got the duck ramen both times. I liked it better the first time. My husband got the crazy fire ramen vegetarian and my son got the cashew chicken. We were surprised when he ordered it as he usually prefers vegetarian. It was hands down the best meal. None of us ever order that and it was so good! My son keeps asking me when we can return.

stop calling it BonChon Chicken. The taste is clearly chinese., more like General Tso's

Went for Mothers Day 2026. New owners, new menu... and it is awful. Sad, sad day for Apex. The pad thai was dry and lacked all flavor.

Food is good, prices are high. Food is at par with other Thai restaurants in the area. More of a take out or quick dining place.

Food: small menu which I do not have any problem with. When I go to Thai/lao restaurants, I always order papaya salad - which will tell me everything and what kind of food I can expect. Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

We set up a reservation as it is can be difficult to just drop in unless you are prepared to wait. The atmosphere is great, with excellent ambiance, and all the staff that we met were very upbeat and kind. To start we had the Tom Kha soup and a sushi roll, spicy tuna. The Tom Kha was very disappointing. It just had a very very watered down taste with hardly any coconut flavor. It was missing the traditional Thai flavor and had zero sour flavor to it that is usually brought in by the lime juice at the end. Perhaps they forgot to make it properly. The spicy tuna roll was just ok. It had heavy rice with a small amount of tuna. Freshness was good. My wife ordered the Pad Thai which must be the most popular dish as everyone was ordering it. Her feedback was that it was average and a bit dry. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao which was very good. The flavor was excellent and I used the remaining sauce to put over some steamed white rice. My only feedback was the spice level. I specifically asked my server if the spice was traditional Thai level or was he grading the spice on a more moderate scale. He assured me, the levels were Thai and that the food was very spicy. I went medium spice and it was very light and tame. I would go more spicy in the future. Overall the experience was a nice outing and we enjoyed the location. The food however was very mid range. Having traveled throughout Thailand, I was really hoping to have a more authentic experience but this feels like a sort of fusion. We have now tried 4 or 5 Thai spots around the greater Triangle area and Osha has been at the bottom food wise. With such amazing other feedback, I have to wonder if we just experienced an off-night for the amazing Thai food
