    Penang Curry
    Adam M.

Casual, comfortable, and delicious. This lovely local Thai restaurant is perfect for a meal with friends and unwinding after work. The staff are friendly and the menu isn't intimidating. The fried wings are deliciously crisp and won't disappoint. The Penang curry is one of our go to meals especially on a cold day. The portions are enough to leave you satisfied but likely won't have leftovers which is where they lose a Star; the prices really justify some larger portions but regardless, the food is delicious and fresh.

    Valentine Noodle Soup

My family and I have been to Myra several times and always really enjoy ourselves. The staff there are so kind and absolutely wonderful with my kids. We had the vegetable potstickers to share, I had the valentine noodle soup, my husband had the green curry noodles (which he loved) and my 5-year-old had the plain noodle soup from the kid's menu. The valentine noodle soup is loaded with tofu, shrimp and fish cakes--it's a large portion so I had enough for dinner and a small take out container to take home for lunch the next day. We were there during some really heavy rain and the staff were so welcoming and told us to stay as long as we needed to wait out the heavy rain, they took excellent care of us.

I'm so sad to report that this restaurant is under new management and the food is now terrible. Myra Cafe used to be our go-to for Thai. Honestly I felt that it was one of the best restaurants in Apex. But whoever bought this place changed the menu, the recipes, and the prices. A to-go order of pad Thai, drunken noodles, and a wings appetizer should not be $65?! What's worse is the food was almost inedible. The dishes went from being a 10/10 to a 2/10 at best. I am so devastated to lose what once was a great Apex restaurant. Portions were smaller, they got rid of their croissant program, and the dishes don't taste fresh and flavorful anymore. What a disappointment, I would not recommend this place at all.

The food was amazing! We had the Spicy Basil Rice with Chicken and Drunken Noodle with Chicken, and enjoyed both. The dining experience was not what I expected for a sit down restaurant with a cocktail menu. The service friendly but rushed. The cocktail I ordered never came, and the food was served as it was ready - mine came out first, then my husband's 3 min later. The food came out very quickly, so I didn't bother reminding our server about the drink.

Everyone that worked here was very friendly and we had great service. For our first visit it was just my husband and I. We started with the Pork Belly buns. The flavoring was good but the buns seemed a little dry. They were just ok and not something we would try again there. For my meal I had the Drunken Noodles and they absolutely did not disappoint. My husband had the Crazy Fire Ramen of which he also enjoyed. I enjoyed mine to the point it would be hard for me to try something else next time. There was a lot of flavor to it and perfect spice and a lot of chicken - and the broad noodles were a good choice. Happy that we finally tried it out and look forward to going back again in the future.

Cute little restaurant with great service. Ordered beef Drunken noodles sooo tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice and spartan clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. They need to update their online menu because it contains stuff that are not on the menu when you walk into the shop. So beware. I know it should be expected it but the fried spring rolls came straight out of the microwave pippin hot and was just average. The crazy fire, Ramen while tasty was a bit unusual. The plate came with a knife which you needed to cut the food into more manageable sized pieces . I've never seen that at any other Thai restaurant. The food is just as good as any other Thai restaurant. However, the prices are a bit over the top. Maybe try their lunch, which is a little more reasonable .

We wanted to continue supporting local businesses and Myra happened to be open on New Year's Day! This was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint! Service was quick and attentive. Pricing was fair considering the quantity and quality. The ambiance was quite cute with various character decor pieces. The food I ordered... Drunken Noodles - the noodle flavor and texture was ON POINT, i almost wish I had less chicken and more noodles for my dish. Spicy level was light. Cashew Chicken - was a part of their lunch special and included a fried spring roll. The SAUCE was delicious and I couldn't honestly just ate that with the rice and cashews. BonChon Chicken - the flavor was there. The crispiness wasn't AS crunchy as I expected it to be, but flavor and tenderness was good!

This is a nice place and we need somewhat healthy restaurants in Apex. It is individually owned that I appreciate. All the food we had was good. I loved that the fried spring roll was GF. They were very accommodation with GF and cooked items especially for us. There were interested knick knacks adorning the place and a very large outdoor area. We will be back.

Legitimately might be the best tasting Drunken Noodles I've ever had. While it's not the same recipe I've seen typically (no onions or peppers and it has shredded carrots and bean sprouts), the homemade chili paste they use is unbelievably flavorful. Huge amounts of chicken included as well. Potentially a little pricier than some hole in the wall spots, but worth every penny.

Great food and service. We are regulars. Tonight we had pineapple fried rice. Excellent!

A friend and I had a great lunch here today! We arrived at 11:30, just as they opened, and we were able to order and get our food very quickly. I loved the drunken noodles. They had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai, with more sweetness than spice. Both entrees were from the lunch menu and included a small spring roll. Service was friendly and efficient, and our water glasses were kept full. Prices were reasonable, and portions were perfect for lunch. There is plenty of parking on the side, out front, and across the street. The space is small and modern and filled up quickly, even on a rainy Tuesday, so try to arrive early.

I finally got a chance to visit this restaurant and was pleasantly pleased. The staff was very nice. The restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. We ordered the shrimp pad thai...the pineapple fried rice...chicken wings..spring rolls and pork belly bahn mis. All and I mean ALL of the food was amazing. The ingredients were fresh. The portion sizes were adequate and the flavor was spot on. The shrimp in the rice and noodle dishes were huge. I highly recommend this spot.

Went for Mothers Day 2026. New owners, new menu... and it is awful. Sad, sad day for Apex. The pad thai was dry and lacked all flavor.

Food is good, prices are high. Food is at par with other Thai restaurants in the area. More of a take out or quick dining place.

Some of the prices can be kind of high. For instance, $18 or $19 for a dozen wings, but they are large and of very good quality. I went with the chargrilled, so you expect a little burn on them. I liked them, but the bleu cheese went a long way to balancing out the flavor of the rub. And they do offer different food and drink specials each day, so check the boards in the restaurant, since the website isn't kept very up to date. They do offer a good variety of draft beers. Not the largest amount, but they did feature some quality crafts. And I give them credit, even at 5 pm on a football Sunday, the men's room was kept pretty clean! I chatted with one of the managers for a while after she was off her shift, and we had a very nice conversation. Very personable staff and I appreciate that.

It also has far less signs of what you can and can't do. Also unlike downtown, there is plenty of parking. They have two levels - and while it does fill up quite a bit, I haven't had a hard time finding space, even getting there later than anticipated on Sundays for the 1PM game. The staff is friendly, they get refills out quickly, and will help you find the TV you want if it takes you a minute to find your game. The food is OK. It's the same menu as downtown, but for whatever reason I don't like it as much here. The sliders and wings are typically my go-to. I straight up did not like the cheesesteak I had here once, it was bland and kind of tough. I've hadn't tried again though, so it's possible that was a one time deal. I do see lots of people order them. They have lots of very good and very dangerous speciality shots on the menu. Their website says that as of February 2026, Woody's Sports Tavern & Grill in Cary and Morrisville have separated from the downtown location.

The crunch rings through my head so vividly, it is almost as if I am eating it at this moment. Now I want fried chicken again. This spot does Korean fried chicken and they do it really well. I think bb.q Chicken can get quite pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it in my eyes. If you want to save some money, I recommend going for lunch. You can have some chicken and fries for a fair price when you get their combo. Otherwise, you have plenty of options for different flavors/sauces for your either boneless or bone in wings. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with most options. I've had the pleasure of trying a bunch of different flavors and there are certainly some stand out ones that cannot go wrong. The original is no frills, straight up savory crunch. It is simplicity at its finest. I also think the soy garlic is good, it has a nice savory flavor that doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. Lastly, the Gangam Style ones have been a recent favorite of mine. Imagine a black pepper steak from a Chinese takeout, that is your flavor. Although the flavors vary between these chickens, the crunch and juiciness reigns supreme amongst all options. bb.q Chicken has other dishes and sides such as their tteokbokki, which I haven't had a chance to try. But when I am here, I already know what I want. You can't go wrong with the best thing in the world!

Overall, I thought it was very tasty - not overly spicy, but it definitely had a little kick to it. My only minor complaint is that it was kind of expensive for the serving size, so I can't imagine getting it frequently, as $15 pre-tax for a small-ish lunch is a little steep for me. Still, I really enjoyed my food here and will definitely be back at some point!
