We made a reservation for Sat night at 5:30 (reservations were already booked from this time up to 8:30). When we arrived, the place was already half full. It's a nice setting...a little on the dark side from a lighting perspective (or what they may deem romantic :) I was a little disappointed in the beer menu. The IPA's were DIPA, non-alcoholic and one for $11. No thanks. We started with the Crispy Rice Lettuce Wraps ($18) as that's a flapship item. My bride loved it and said she would have it for a meal! I thought it was good....but a little spendy considering there wasn't any chicken or protein. My bride ordered the Sweet Chili Salmon ($30) and really enjoyed it. I went with the Cashew Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry ($26) and it was good...it was a little on the watery side which seemed to dilute the flavor. Service from Piper was very friendly and prompt!

Wow is mainly what I can say. I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine generally, but Bida Manda has been one of the more unique experiences I've had with Asian food in quite some time. The two times I went recently, it was a packed house, so reservations are definitely recommended. There's plenty of street parking within a close walk of the restaurant. We ordered the chicken wings, lettuce wraps, and the pork belly soup. All of them were packed full of flavor and prepared to perfection. The chicken wings had an incredible, almost tempura-like batter to them. And the pork belly soup - omg - there's a reason it's the dish they most recommend. I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed the lettuce wraps. I did not enjoy the Chicken Pad Thai and Shrimp Pad Thai. Both dishes tasted like spaghetti instead of authentic Thai flavored food. The shrimp were also small. The ambience was cozy and colorful. However, the loud noise from chairs scooting on the floors, the closeness of adjacent tables, and the noise level disturbed my peace. I may return again for the lettuce wraps and Lao ice coffee. Service was great. This is a small restaurant, and is it not suitable for large groups or quiet romantic dining.

Back for more!! I stop in for a meal every time I'm in town. Super chill spot close to downtown hotels with light jazz playing quietly overhead. Low lighting and candles adorn the interior. I had dinner and chose the Sweet Chili Salmon again as it was so good last time around. Tonight did not disappoint. The salmon was perfectly cooked and served with lime vinaigrette herb salad and jasmine rice. Service is always so pleasant from the warm welcome at the door through the prompt and polite delivery of their amazing dishes. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in town. Phenomenal crispy lettuce wraps! Honestly that was such a standout dish. We also had the papaya salad with dill and trout, and the pad lao. Both were fine, but are not dishes that I see myself craving in the future. Also had the mango purple sticky rice, which was solid. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or time with friends; the lighting is bit on the dimmer side but the place is tastefully decorated. Service was good, no complaints there!

This is the perfect spot for a romantic date night. The restaurant has a warm and cozy feel. Just don't sit too close to the door, the cold breeze is VERY strong. The waiter started by telling us the love story of the owners and their wedding photo is displayed when you first walk in. Super cute ! The Crispy Pork Belly Soup Dinner was delicious. Perfect curry tasty and the crispy pork belly had a nice crunch. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection.

The food at Bida Panda is close to perfection - everything is so delicious. I've visited multiple times now, and each dish is full of spice and flavor. Some favorites are the Green Papaya Salad (must have!), lettuce wraps (must have!), crispy pork belly soup, sea bass, and purple rice with mango. Each bite is so delicious, and we rave every time! On top of that, customer service is top notch. The staff are so kind and patient, accommodating to food allergies. They've accommodated to paleo diet, gluten and dairy allergies, etc. Additionally, they often give treats for birthdays, and it isn't uncommon for the staff to just give a free appetizer or dessert, just because! In terms of parking, there's street parking just down the road with a few minute walk. The restaurant is beautifully decorated; cozy but not too tight.

great experience here. had a lovely server, quick service and the ambiance was delightful. we started off with the lettuce wraps which were so refreshing and delicious, I'd give it an 8/10. We wanted to try the spring rolls but we are students on a budget so our waiter suggested those. We got the salmon which was the best thing we ate! 10/10! It was perfectly cooked and warm. The sauce was great as well and I liked that it was a little crispy on the top. I got the pad thai with chicken which was okay! Probably a 7/10! It was good but I think if I came again I would go for a different dish. The curry also looked delicious as well. We ended the meal with a palate cleanser and they brought out a little agar agar dessert to celebrate a promotion! Very nice of them.

Simply THE BEST LAO ICED COFFEE I've ever had. I loved the combination of rich bold coffee with sweet condensed milk. It gave me the perfect jolt of energy i needed to seize the day. The Café Cabana tasted like an espresso martini combined with a chocolate dipped banana (in the best way). It was a fantastic brunch cocktail and was like drinking a fluffy cloud. The service was amazing from start to finish and the atmosphere was very intimate which I enjoyed. I can't wait to go back with friends

5 stars across the board. Friendly staff from host to server and management. Inspired menu and cozy atmosphere. A few standouts include: crispy pork belly soup, salmon ceviche (so good!), and sea bass.

The restaurant was beautiful!! The little attention to details made the atmosphere perfect for friend hangouts, date night, or family gatherings We didn't have reservations and we got lucky with quick seating, and attentive service with great food recs! The fried rice sounds basic BUT I'm still thinking about that dish! Unique gluten free options made everyone at the table experience a great meal!!

This place was a gem. It was quiet (on a Sunday afternoon), our server was helpful, patient & kind, the spring rolls & sauce were SOO GOOD, the rest of the meal was quite nice as well (needed a but more heat for me but great textures & good flavor).

I'd recommend parking a few blocks away and walking if you are unable to find parking nearby. Walking into the restaurant you'll be transported to a modern brewery, bookstore, and flower shop. It feels chic, Belgian inspired, and upscale. To start I ordered a Vase IPA which was excellent. I then switched to cocktails and ordered the Black Sesame Old Fashioned (bourbon, black sesame, black walnut bitters), the Dionysus (pinot noir, raspberry lemon shrub, chambord, amaretto, lemon, rhubarb bitters), and an aviation (hendricks, luxardo, creme de violette, lemon). By far the Black Sesame Old Fashioned was my favorite and what a nice touch with cracker on top of the dish. For food we ordered the Gai Lan (Stir-fried Chinese broccoli with garlic and oyster sauce), the Peking Duck (Whole, barbecued, free-range duck served with steamed bao buns, cucumber, scallions, and hoisin-honey sauce), Sweet Soy Chicken (Scallions, bell peppers, and caramelized in our ginger soy sauce. Served with jasmine rice), the Lo Mein Noodles (Stir-fried noodles with julienned shiitake mushrooms, choy sum greens, soy sauce, and shrimp), seafood dumplings (Lobster, shrimp, and scallop dumplings served in garlic and black mushroom sauce with fried Youtiao doughnuts), Chicken Curry Bao (Steamed buns filled with spicy yellow chicken and vegetable curry), the Beef with Longhorn Peopers (Sautéed beef, ginger, and longhorn peppers with Shaoxing wine sauce. Served with jasmine rice), the Xiao Long Bao (Steamed crab and ground pork soup dumplings), Nasi Goreng Crab Fried Rice (Traditional Indonesian Chinese fried rice with blue crab meat, Nam Pla fish sauce, house made Nasi Goreng sauce, served in an egg crêpe), and the General Tso's Chicken (Crunchy, sweet, and tangy, Bhavana's General Tso comes with your choice of chicken or tofu tossed in our house-made General sauce and topped with sesame seeds. Served with jasmine rice). By far our favorite food items were the seafood dumplings (excellent flavor, Chinese donuts were so good, along with the flavor from the broth), and the shrimp lo mein noodles (cooked perfectly and the sauce was perfectly distributed). Definitely check out brewery bhavana if you are looking for excellent Chinese food in the Raleigh area. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Well, I finally got to try Brewery Bhavana and it was indeed incredible. Definitely worth the hype. We met my coworker and her partner here for dinner, and I was grateful we had a reservation because this spot was poppin' on a Monday night! The dining room is huge, but the decor breaks things up a bit and makes your meal feel intimate. Everything is shareable, so I highly recommend visiting with fellow foodies who want to try a little bit of everything. Honestly the entire menu sounded amazing, and it was hard to choose! Thankfully our servers provided some excellent recommendations. The Pork Bao was probably my favorite bite of the night, and may very well have been the best Bao I've ever had. The Lap Cheung Fried Rice was also delicious, and I'm usually not a fried rice person! Also worth mentioning is the Lo Mein, which we ordered with chicken. We didn't stay for dessert, but all of their sweet offerings sounded incredible as well. I did try one of the beers they brew on-site, the Sow. It was light and sippable, and I appreciate their diverse beer and cocktail offerings. I can't wait to visit Raleigh again because this will be my first stop!

I ordered the lo mein, bamboo flounder fish, and a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely greasy, the fried rice was overly salty, and the shrimp was hard, overcooked and not fresh. When I informed the waiter that I would not be eating the lo mein due to its condition, I was told that I would still have to pay for it and that it did not matter whether I liked it or not. He initially refused to remove the dish from my bill. After eventually taking it off, he told me that he never wanted to see my face again as I was leaving. What disappoints me most is that I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and had been a repeat customer. The decline in food quality combined with the way my concerns were handled has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
