So close by where we live that we could walk. But this is our first time dining here. What a cute little bar/pub. It's St Patrick's Day and I do love to have a green beer. They did not disappoint. And it was only $3.50 !!!! This made me very happy. We both had the Reuben's. One Turkey and one pastrami and we traded halves. I eat a lot of Reuben's and these did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will return very soon. It seems like a fun place to be for game night or for a group meal.

It's bar food. We checked this place out for lunch and had an okay experience. I started off with a Foothills Hoppyum, the draft list was good. Next it was the BLT with a slice of cheese and a side salad for me and the house salad with chicken for my husband. The service was good but the food was just okay. They have a pool table, a few dart boards and lots of TVs so it could be a fun time to play a game at or to watch a game.

This place has your typical bar food, I can't complain about it but at the same time it wasn't anything special. The menu is rather small, it seems like burgers and wings are their main staples. I should have probably gotten the wings since the reviews for those looked promising, but I got the b e l t c h Burger instead, it was okay but I definitely wouldn't order it again. The burger patty itself was for the most part flavorless and the ham really overpowered the taste of the burger. I like the waffle fries but there wasn't enough on the plate. I would definitely go back here, but I don't think I would order a burger again. They have a very large outdoor seating area, if you like that kind of thing.

It was good bar food. I started off with a cider followed by the not so interesting burger with a side of mac & cheese. The food and service were both good. I'd return.

I've been coming to this place for a while now ever since my fiancé started to come out on Friday nights. But let me just say Kristin is the best bartender, and the food is delicious! I love coming here all the time. Kristin always surprises me with the best drinks and of course food with whatever I want.

Brewsters recently opened in an area off Hwy 64 that's relatively devoid of places to escape the traffic and grab an adult beverage. Occupying a space formerly a restaurant, Brewsters now bears little resemblance to what it was. It looks and feels much larger when you walk in. Maybe it's because they kept the large windows to let in light during the day and because everything is still new and shiny. The bar is in the traditional u-shape with the dart boards and some tables on one side and regular tables on the other. There's a really nice selection of draft micro brews including seasonals along with the standards in bottles. The food is typical bar food at typical bar food prices. I thought the grilled cheese was a little pricey for what it was, but the kitchen did an okay job on the burgers my friend and I ordered. Brewsters still hasn't had its grand opening yet; so I expect the small kinks will work themselves out and leave a nice neighborhood bar that'll lead me to change this to a four-star place. It's on the verge of that now.

They blocked off part of the parking lot, had live music going, and the whole place had that fun, lively energy you want on a holiday like this. Because of the crowd, the menu was trimmed down to the more popular items, but it still had plenty of good options. I ended up getting their Irish eggrolls, they're hand‑rolled and stuffed with house‑cured corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, then sliced and served with their Thousand Island dressing. Basically, it's all the flavors of a Reuben wrapped up in a crispy shell, simple, rich, and exactly the kind of thing that works well at an event like this because its quick and its finger food you can eat while watching the band,. Overall, the atmosphere was great, parking is such a hassle though during these events on the weekend because H-Mart nearby is already so packed. You can park on the other side of the building if you don't mind a brief walk though.

The space itself is cozy and comfortable, with a relaxed, welcoming feel. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the food we ordered was great. They have some of the best buffalo shrimp I've ever had. They were perfectly cooked, with the lightest fried batter, and a perfectly subtle buffalo sauce. They were so good. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked just as good, which makes us eager to try more on a return visit. It is a small space, and on a busy Saturday around 5pm it was quite lively and loud--which isn't negative, but more of an observation. There was no music playing and the TVs didn't have volume, so the room noise carried quite a bit. At times it was difficult to hear conversation even sitting right next to each other. That said, unfortunately, during our visit, some of the dialogue from nearby regulars was disappointing, very rude, and imo racist. It definitely made us uncomfortable, which impacted our experience and led us to leave earlier than planned. I'm hoping this was an outlier for what is otherwise a great neighborhood spot. I'd absolutely consider returning for the food alone, as it was that good--and ideally I'm hoping for a different overall experience next time.

I dropped by one afternoon to check out this new pub in North Raleigh and I was delighted to find…read morehow cozy it was and how hospitable and sweet the owners, Kevin and Stephanie, are. The decor in The Winchester Pub is unique in the fact that they don't have all the stereotypical, tacky beer signage that others have and the bar is completely handmade by Kevin himself (it's gorgeous). Their selection of beers on tap is primo -- you won't see any of the over-served blah beers of other bars. Instead, you'll find a finely curated selection that boasts a variety of tastes. If you're not into beer, there are also a few bottles of wine you can choose to have a glass of. There's a small selection of canned brews you can purchase from the display case in the front of the pub, back of the pub, and in the refrigerated unit in the rear, as well as cider, spiked coffee malt beverages, alcoholic seltzers, and beer kegs. Surprisingly, there's even some bagged coffee! If you fancy bringing some pub merch home, there are branded mugs for sale. Above the bar, there are mounted TV screens, perfect for enjoying local sports games (especially European soccer matches on the weekends). Plenty of backed barstools surround the bar, and there's a line of round, leather-topped stools along the back wall. If stools aren't your cup of tea, there are two cozy leather couches you can lounge on: one in the front (by the entrance) and one in the back (next to a pool table)! If you're not craving any booze, there's a water cooler in the front of the pub and canned sodas in the fridge (Sprite and Coke). If you're feeling playful, there are couple of board games on the one of the beer display shelves by the entrance (beneath the framed red jersey). I'm more of a cider kind of girl, so Kevin suggested a fantastic, locally-owned cider out of Pittsboro, NC: "Chatham Cider Works Highway 64". It was sweet, light, bubbly, and strong, especially at 10% ABV (so, watch out!). My husband and I both sampled the "Fullsteam Igor Cake" Pastry Stout (9% ABV), which was super sweet. Hubby ended up ordering the "Casita Home Sweet Home" Imperial Stout (10% ABV), which had a cake-like flavor, was super smooth, and not too sweet. No foods are currently served here, but there are some snacks for sale behind the bar and you are more than welcome to bring in your own noms to accompany any drinks your order. From the cooler, I bought and tried: - Brown Bomber Mocha Hard Latte - flavored malt beverage (5% ABV) made with 100% Arabica coffee and milk. It's recommended to shake well and serve over ice. It was soooo creamy, chocolatey, and delicious -- you can't even tell that there is alcohol in it! - Brown Bomber Vanilla Hard Latte - same as the previous, but vanilla-flavored - Sound Craft Rosé Seltzer (5% ABV) - super smooth and tasting of freshly pressed blackberries, I could not tell that there was alcohol in it! If you're looking for a cozy spot to throw back a pint as you unwind from work, you've found the perfect place!

Still, I always seem to find myself at Fortnight. And their beer has always been delicious, with plenty of varieties to sip from either on a cold December day or a blazing hot spring afternoon. They also have a lovely beer garden and, at least when I've been there, a tasty food truck on site. Staff is friendly, with self-service ordering at the bar (the line can definitely get long sometimes). I gotta say, the beer isn't always as cold as I would hope it would be - could be I'm just used to a different beer temp vibe here in the PNW. One ale I recently tried I had to bring back to the counter as it was so warm I thought I'd accidentally been given a cask ale. Oddly, they weren't really apologetic about it and were happy to charge me for a different (colder) beer, even though I'd only taken a couple of sips from the ale. Not the biggest deal, but worth noting that you might want to ask for a sample before committing to a pint, if for no other reason than to verify it's being served at a temp you like.

I went right after it opened so it was pretty empty during my visit, but there's a ton of seating (both indoor and outdoor!) and I can imagine it gets pretty busy at peak hours. Honestly, the beer was not my favorite (and didn't taste much like an IPA to me at least...) but I guess that's personal opinion :) The bartender was nice and the vibes were solid inside. Overall, there are a bunch of breweries in the Triangle, so I'm not sure I'd come back to this one as my first choice, but if a friend wanted to meet me here I wouldn't complain :)
