I really wanted some boneless wings. These are just chicken breast cut up and sauces not a bit of crunch or texture to them.. ‍

I am working here for a couple of days out of town and I really wanted some boneless wings. The environment felt nice although I did get my order to go. I have to say I am a little disappointed. These are just chicken breast cut up and sauced not a bit of crunch or texture to them.. ‍ I also got some sweet potato fries. They were pretty good, but I was a little disappointed they didn't come with anything to dip them in.

Came to this restaurant while on vacation and staying with family in Cary, NC. It was close and convenient. The waitress was very attentive. Appetizers came out timely. Our food was fast. We enjoyed drinks and the waitress made sure we had enough of those along with anything else we needed. Food tasted great and we left all very full. We would definitely come back when visiting this area again! We sat inside but they were having live music outside which would definitely be enjoyable!

The lowdown: the 4 stars were based on the fact that my first visit wasn't the best. If it were on this one alone I would have given 5 stars. The food is delicious, the service was good, and the staff wore masks, cleaned the tables thoroughly after patrons were eating(which we know is important during this COVID time). Abbey Road Tavern is a decent size, decorated according to what you would expect from a pub/restaurant. Musical memorabilia everywhere. I think it would be cute if the dishes had musical names! We got the buffalo dip to start! it is sooo so so good! It comes with soft and hard tortilla chips. For my meal I order the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was perfect. Hit the spot. It came with fries and was very filling. I noticed when paying w a credit card they charge a 4% fee so keep that in mind when you go! Our server was terrific. I'm pretty sure her name was Elizabeth. I definately want to check out other menu items.

Burgers are still good although quite a bit smaller than they used to be. Mozzarella sticks were great! Spouse got the shrimp pita and enjoyed it. Can no longer get 1/2 onion rings and 1/2 fries. Onion rings aren't nearly as good as before. Price is comparable to other bar and grills. If I had never been pre-pandemic, I would have enjoyed my recent trip more. Quality and quantity have taken a slight hit while the price has increased. Stinks when both of those happen. Still a good meal though if you live close by...just no longer a destination.

During my time at NC State, we would make the haul out to Cary and have a treat meal as "poor" college kids would. I am happy to see that this place is still here, and has expanded since my time at State (graduated in '04). It is a bit "off the beaten path" since the small shopping center is a little tucked away and probably was just a stand along gas station at some point. I bet the growing city of Cary and highway development (elsewhere) brought the gas station's demise, but luckily enough this restaurant found a home here. The burgers are why you come here. I love that they've kept the burgers pretty much how I remember them (ingredient-wise) and have expanded their menu. I think beer was a luxury item when I was in school so we always got soda or water... The craft scene has exploded in the last decade and they have plenty of local (NC) beers on tap. Last visit, I came by myself and my server was super nice. She had a ton of tables (inside AND outside) so there was a little bit of a slower pace for my meal, but I didn't mind it so much. She did thank me for being patient when she brought the bill out, so she was aware, but there's nothing you can really do since it looked like all the servers were running around everywhere. Tried the bacon cheese fries... and they didn't disappoint. Burgers are cooked (to how you want them). Mine was delicious. There is a large bar area and tvs surrounding (so probably a great place to watch sports). I don't really remember them having too many tables outside since during school, you could park under the awning. I think now they've utilized the shade for outside seating and cornhole boards. Overall, I will continue to crave these burgers and will probably stop by every time I find myself in the area.

Meh. Years ago in Cary this used to be the best burger in town but I think it's super average. $30 for one cocktail (small) and a burger. It was cooked to medium rare perfection but nothing superior. Bacon was soggy. Good fries and the ranch is homemade and well done. Bartender nice and very attentive. SURCHARGE for credit card though? UTTERLY ridiculous. It's called the cost of doing business. Pass.

I don't think there's a better place to get delicious bar food in this part of Cary! The tequila club sandwich is to die for! The burgers are really good too! And they have a great beer selection, and the bartenders know how to mix a good drink. There is a pretty large outdoor area for those who like to sit in a parking lot. Only thing I don't like is the bathrooms are too small for the size of the restaurant, and they usually are really dirty and smell horrible.

The Ringo with Beyond Meat patty and Sweet Potato Fries

We enjoyed the bar atmosphere at Abbey Road. We also loved that they had the beyond meat options for the burgers. I had the Ringo with beyond meat, which was so tasty with mushrooms, onions, and cheese. The sweet potato fries were delicious! We shared a pint of Stella. We'll be back to the neighborhood bar.

Sliders sans bun with side of homemade chips and ranch
    Denise D.

We have driven past this establishment for years and in the mood for a good burger. Promptly greeted upon arrival and seated 5 stars. Prices on the menu and website appear to be different and understand food prices have gone up for example the sides, coleslaw listed at $2.99 but $4.99, 3.5 stars yikes! Opted for the sliders without the bun cooked medium with side of homemade chips with ranch. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the homemade chips were good 5 stars. Another Yelper mentioned surcharge on credit card and appreciated that information. However, receiving the bill it was there versus at processing or the server asking. Fortunately I had cash even though the surcharge was minimal not sure why the establishment is adding it as line item especially since the disconnect of pricing between menus. Overall, the experience was good but could have been great. Two noteworthy events in the establishment are offensive to patrons. First, serving alcohol when patrons get rowdy cursing and confronting other tables, the time is imminent to STOP serving them alcohol, quickly diffuse situation even if asking one to leave, and call Uber for the intoxicated patron. Secondly, no one should be smoking or using tobacco/vaping inside the establishment! Food = 5 stars Service = 5 stars Prices = 3.5 stars Environment = 3 stars

Food was good, service was terrible. It is ok to have kids as servers, but they need a front of house manager to keep up quality of service.

Reid answered all our questions and he was very knowledge about the menu. Reid gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, when we were ready to order he appeared took our food orders. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fries. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The food was delicious!!! For dessert we got Key Lime Pie. This may be the best Key Lime Pie we've ever had, So GOOD! We will definitely be visiting Doc B's again in the near future. I HIGHLY Recommend Doc B's!!! Thanks again Reid.

They blocked off part of the parking lot, had live music going, and the whole place had that fun, lively energy you want on a holiday like this. Because of the crowd, the menu was trimmed down to the more popular items, but it still had plenty of good options. I ended up getting their Irish eggrolls, they're hand‑rolled and stuffed with house‑cured corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, then sliced and served with their Thousand Island dressing. Basically, it's all the flavors of a Reuben wrapped up in a crispy shell, simple, rich, and exactly the kind of thing that works well at an event like this because its quick and its finger food you can eat while watching the band,. Overall, the atmosphere was great, parking is such a hassle though during these events on the weekend because H-Mart nearby is already so packed. You can park on the other side of the building if you don't mind a brief walk though.
