Initially, our dental experience was positive. However, things took a turn when the dentist's husband insisted on payment before completing the services. During our first visit, Nina warmly welcomed us, but our next appointment with Noami was less pleasant. Noami demanded payment upfront for future fillings and services, despite my assurance that I'd pay on the day of treatment. Frustratingly, Noami's boss (the dentist's husband) insisted this was their policy, even though it wasn't clearly stated. LOL. On our second visit, my wife underwent a check-up, cleaning, and x-rays. Again, Noami pushed for payment before the next appointment, citing the same policy. When I challenged this and asked where it states on their policy, the dentist's husband produced their policy document, which surprisingly didn't support his claim. LOL! Myrna, our actual dentist, did a great job, making myself and my wife feel comfortable when she checked on us after the x-ray and checked up by their dental assistant. We decided to cancel all future appointments with this dentist. As a Filipino, I found his business approach reminiscent of practices back home. We won't return, even though we were referred by a family friend of 20 years--apparently, their dad shares our sentiments! STOP harassing us with phone calls almost every week! We're not coming back to this dentist with those false information on their policy!!! Throughout my experiences with four different dentists, I've never encountered a situation where I was required to pay for dental work before it was completed. I wish i had more cavities, that way I could go get my teeth worked on by the team over at Dr Lazaga's office ... She just finished fixing all my busted up teeth, i think there were about 8? Plus a gold cap on a molar, that I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED!!! Dr Lazaga does amazing work and is always kind and friendly and I feel like I want to invite her and the crew to family parties !!
