September 2024 Dr. Kasperian reinstalled a new updated titanium implant to replace the one previously removed. Late March 2025 Dr. Hirota in National City implanted my brand new three (3) crown bridge appliance designed by Dr. Kasperian on two titanium implant posts (one old and one new). I had some quiet concern I kept to myself about the outcome using new and old implant posts but the truth is I could not be happier! I have my bite back! And, I can easily floss under my new 3 crown dental bridge appliance. I can easily recommend Dr. Kasperian and Dr. Hirota to others. You will not be disappointed.

I told him "If my molar breaks, after you work on it: I am NOT coming back to you to let you repair it." and he ignored me. Probably didn't hear a word I said - or he would have known better than to try to pull his little scam on ME! Then he did a trick that dozens of dentists are doing now, in order to get extra work - and leave the patient (I mean victim) unaware that they deliberately did anything wrong to them. He did not put enough amalgam in the cavity to fill it in all of the way flush to the top of the surface of the molar - so that weeks later the pressure from food being bitten down upon spreads out, and cracks off, the edge of the molar: so he can "Repair" the chipped molar with a Crown - at the insurance companies expense (Insurance fraud by means of a 'defective fill' - deliberately causing your molar to break open within 2 months of him working on it!). Sure enough, a few weeks later, the molar split open as I was biting down on some food. I went to another dentist and had a crown put on #18 - and that cheating dentist Dr. Putrus Waiel, DDS (Deliberate Dental Saboteur) will never see my face again. Here's how this scam usually works. He will tell you that the filling is bad and needs to be replaced. He doesn't fill in the replacement filling all of the way; leaving very slight protruding edges sticking up around the filling. As you bite down on food: the food spreads out on top of the filling and presses against the insides of the very slight edges - and within two to three months - you'll bite down on some food and a part of your molar chips off. Then, of course, you'll trustingly go back to the doctor who deliberately sabotaged your molar: to get a crown - to repair the top of the chipped molar (That he deliberately caused). So, he gets dental work from drilling out a perfectly good filling and "Replacing" that filling with a new defective filling - then a month or two later you'll have 'a dental emergency' and he gets your insurance company to pay him to put a very expensive crown on your now broken molar (which is the REAL Payoff of the Scam) - getting two dental procedures out of your insurance company by ruining first a good filling and then ruining your molar so that it needs a crown to repair it. If Dr. Putrus has "Replaced" a filling in one of your molars - and within 2 to 3 months the molar cracks open, just a little bit, at the top - you are a victim of his ongoing and repeating scam - just like I was. But I've LOST two molars to this scam before - and I know how it works, which is WHY I said to him "If my molar breaks, after you work on it: I am NOT coming back to you to let you repair it.". Too bad he didn't listen to me. Now I get to tell everyone why, after 22 years, he is no longer my dentist and EXACTLY how his little scam works - to warn you against letting him convince you one of the fillings in one of your molars is bad: and needs replacement. You'll wind up with a crown on what WAS a perfectly healthy molar and he'll wind up thousands of dollars richer and you'll be none the wiser that he has committed Deliberate Dental Sabotage (DDS) upon you. But now you've been warned, by a dentist who knows exactly how this scam works - do NOT let him replace a filling in any of your molars!!! Or if you do: do not go back to him, and reward him for deliberately breaking your molar, by "fixing" it with a crown - because the crown is the big money payoff for him and why he regularly does defective fills on patients in the first place. I can say with absolute confidence that Dr. Putrus is a scammer: and you can't trust him. The Crown I have on Molar #18 says so. Older and Wiser.

After leaving my third visit, I called my insurance again, and they confirmed I'm in-network. The staff had told me their doctors weren't in-network, which directly contradicts what's listed on the UnitedHealthcare site. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

The most frustrating part was the complete lack of communication. No one apologized for the delay, provided updates, or gave us an estimated wait time. After we left, I expected at least a phone call acknowledging what happened, offering an explanation, apologizing, or attempting to reschedule the appointment. None of that happened. I also work in healthcare and I understand that unexpected delays can occur in healthcare, but clear communication and consideration for patients' time are essential.
