She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. I needed some vaccines and some bloodwork. The girl who gave me the shots was so detailed in telling me what shots she was giving and where and why. My favorite part was getting my blood drawn because the phlebotomist actually found my vein on the first try!! Usually they have to move the needle trying to find a good vein. She was also super friendly especially when she saw how nervous I was due to past experiences. I would definitely recommend this clinic. Everyone was beyond friendly and it looked like they enjoyed their jobs.

They have an option to make an urgent care appt online beforehand but the website was glitching on me so I did a walk in. I had maybe a 20 min wait and the Dr was with me shortly after. i have been a patient for a few years & have seen her about 5 times. so i speak from this…read moreexperience. trying to call in or get someone to return a call is sometimes asking too much from this office. they will want u to make an appt to go in for everything. it's a headache to get refills. when u actually do go in to see her she's nice & calm. she can be helpful, although i'm not too sure how knowledgeable she is w/ broad info. she didn't seem to understand some issues w/ medication that were pretty commonly known. i wouldn't be treated by her for anything requiring detailed attention. be prepared to wait a long time even if you have an appt. it is very stressful to have to call in to this office, leave a message & feel like you're receiving adequate customer service. though saying this about the way her office is run, she is a very nice person. edit: the service and the dr. only got worse over time. dr. vendiola left and i was stuff with dr. villa. i'd have to call and leave many messages per month to get a simple refill. i had to do this all the time even though i was a patient for years. dr. villa and her staff were a nightmare that i felt i had no choice but to keep myself in. i finally switched doctors a year ago.

The bathroom, le sigh. Not unlike an old gas station bathroom,devoid of paper towels, dignity and cleanliness, I'm supposed to leave it here? ANYWHERE!? NO LID? SO VARIOUS THINGS CAN CONTAMINATE IT? Argh, I should have walked out, but I had to see this debacle to it's conclusion. I waited 40 minutes after my appointment time to be seen to a various assortment of rundown, shabby rooms, one for weight, another for blood pressure. Peeling linoleum, old, fading blood pressure cuffs, I'm fully prepared to see a doctor in any developing nation. I'm just hoping I don't pick anything up whilst trying to receive treatment... Addendum-the physician's assistant Elizabeth, was the epitome of professionalism. How did she end up here!? What sort of crime did she commit? And as a bonus, I need to return in a week. He also was very diligent about really digging into my medical to find other problems I was having. I have to say I am absolutely impressed with him and his whole office. Professional, clean, on top of things. I really appreciate them especially when I got sick last minute and they snuck me in the same day! Bless them! The last time I saw a doctor doing his patient's vitals, blood pressure, drawing blood for lab testing, it was on an 80's TV show. Having hit the trifecta (but not in a good way) when it comes to chronic health concerns, it's rare, but sometimes a challenge & a half to keep/honor appointments with him. At times, I'm already admitted in hospital for something else dire, juggling clashing appointments or lacking the ability to function at all. Case in point, I just got a letter from his office today, advising that since I refused to secure a follow up appointment he's refusing to treat me in future. My care provider's attention to detail is second to none, but we "dropped the ball" unintentionally somehow. I've been extremely fortunate to be insured & have been treated by great doctors; he's no exception. I'll make sure to resolve this matter next week. The good ones don't grow on trees. The only minus is that his office isn't set up for a email account; otherwise, I'd contact him today. Small price to pay.
