I went for a pedicure. A friend assured me they spoke english. The guy that did my pedicure either did not SPEAK english or Ignored me. Continuously tried to massage my legs~I said NO! Nothing on my legs! I'm paying $45 for him to take care of my nails & give me a good foot massage. He should be happy he doesn't need to touch my legs. Foot massage was good. Then, this loud-mouth comes into the shop~they seem to know him well. While he is getting HIS pedicure, he is YAKKING on the phone SO LOUD that any peace or relaxation us 4 ladies in the shop could experience is non-existent. He must pay well~no one said a word to him. I won't be back. I can sit in front of my dryer and get more peace. read more

Pricey, but I think that's the new norm. I paid $50 for a fill-in gel set, $25 for a manicure, and $40 for a deluxe pedicure. Adds up quickly when you include a tip. Service was very good. They took their time, were very polite, and our nails came out great. Unless I find the same service for better prices, I will probably return (it's becoming increasingly complicated to find the best of all worlds for nails). read more

I went in for a new set 2 days ago and unfortunately my nails have never looked so bad. It literally looks like I need my nails filled. The cuticle wasn't taken care of and the paint job is something I could have done better myself. I'm pretty disappointed as the girl doing my nails said she has been doing nails for 27 years. I didn't say anything when she finished because I honestly didn't have the time to have her redo them since they are gel. The entire appointment I was wondering if she just does things differently, but the shape isn't even what I wanted. I am disappointed with this experience and will not be going back here. read more

Today was my first visit to this establishment and I was a walk in for a pedicure and eye brow wax. There was a very small wait, as expected, due to me not having an appointment and I didn't mind. I was lead to my chair and the water was pretty cool. No one bothered to ask me how was the water and if I was comfortable. Nor was I asked about what color I preferred. Next a mother and daughter walked in and I'm assuming they scheduled an appointment because they were tended to immediately. They were lead to their seats, water ran and asked if the temperature was okay. They were also offered colors immediately. The person who did my pedicure also tended to this group too prior to me, placing foil on the feet of the mom so that her gel can soak off. Finally when my pedicure was started the person asked me what color I would like and I asked to look at the gel colors. I was provided with one selection of gel colors and had to ask if those were the only colors as I hadn't been offered any more. I asked this knowing there were more because the guest next to me had majority of the colors sitting next to them, I'm pretty much over it by now but I'm polite and I continue to observe. My feet are pulled out the water and wowwwww I have gel on my toes. I was then told the next time I come I need to mention I have gel on my toes...no worries because I have no plans on returning. If anyone had the decency to address me at all they would of known I had gel on my toes but I digress. I chose to remain silent just to see how the remainder of my visit goes. Now I sit and watch the employee next to the person doing my pedicure look at my feet over and over again the entire time. I notice she did this to no one else. No other employees paid attention to anyone aside to the customer they were attending. I'm pretty offended now but I just get through the remainder of the pedicure. Getting a pedicure is the one thing I do to reward myself and to have an experience like this is disappointing. I had to go ahead and pass on getting my eyebrows done because why would I give them more of my money? I have my assumptions of why I received such poor service but I've already wasted enough bad energy writing this post. To the staff at NYC learn to treat all costumers equally. read more

i got my nails and toes done here about 2 years ago. I am STILL having issues with my feet since I got them done. Nothing wrong with my nails but my mom and I both have some kind of fungus we cannot get rid of because of this place. Now we can't get our toes done. please make sure they are sanitizing and cleaning the foot baths!!! read more

I will not be going back even though I've been going there for years! My friend and I scheduled appointments together and they made her get up and go to the drying station so they could clean her station after we were done. They wouldn't allow us to sit there and chat and have our girl time, even though no one else was waiting for her chair. And on top of that, their message recording says they strongly urge people to wear masks, but when we got there and got our pedicures started they made us put the mask on. I would've gotten up and left, but they had already started our pedicure. They were very rude and misleading. read more

Had an amazing experience. I decided to go with the "deluxe pedicure" and it was the best pedicure I've ever had.

My first time going there. I live in Winter Haven but work in Lakeland and figured I would give it a try. After work. They were able to take me right away which was great! I got a pedi, full set and eye brows. My pedi was good. They had like a pedi menu which I never experienced before which was kind of cool their basic pedi was $25 which I got and the owner recommended that I at least get my heels sanded down for an extra $5 which I agreed too. I feel for pedis I could of went to my normal spot in Winter Haven and got a lot more for only $25 rather than just basic cleaning my toes up and sanding my heels. My eyes brows are good! No complaints there. Eye brows were $10. I got my full set and I got ombré which the ombré came out really nice but you can tell she rushed really badly the edges aren't clean and the shape is just not clean. Also they are all different sizes. I have attached photos and on my cuticles it looks like I'm just ashy but that is the gel polish (very messy job) and I know probably they don't look so terrible but in person you can see the flaws. It was towards closing so I'm assuming she was rushing to get home by I did get there at 5:20 didn't leave there until 7:40 so I was tired myself but I ended up spending $100 plus $10 because I felt so bad that I had them stay late. I was exhausted from working all day and then felt the need to get out of there because I was the last one but when I got in my car I didn't realize how much I truly spent. $30 for a pedi. $10 for eye brows. So meaning $60 on a full set which is CRAZY!!! The workers are really nice but I wouldn't go back which sucks because I loved the environment and the vibe. But I know I can get more pedi wise for the same price and then also this full set is just not the best there are a lot of errors. read more

There are three nail salons within 5 miles of each other, but what sets this place apart by far is their superior service. They really know how to treat their customers. Equipment is always well sanitized, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The decor could do with some updating, but it's always clean and relaxing. Again, it's the staff that keeps me coming back. They're kind, competent, and accommodating. I really don't understand why they don't do more business because the other two places are subpar at best in comparison. read more

I've been to this place a few times. I was seeing the same person over and over especially because they charge a good chunk of change for their services. Ken is great with nails which is why I didn't mind paying. On my birthday Ken wasn't available and I was desperate so I went with one of the female techs. First I asked a few questions about some of the displays she had and she ignored me until I called her rude and then she proceeded to respond. I showed her a photo of a pink french tip that I wanted and she painted the entire nail and said she "forgot". She got up during my service to go wax someone's eyebrows and I was already in a rush so I settled for whatever I could get. I'm so upset at how rude they were. During the first week, one of my nails just unglued and by the second week a second one unglued (something that's never happened). These were short acrylic gel nails. She also left clear gel on the side of the nail so it compromised the shape of the nail making each hand look completely different. It's like she didn't put in effort. I'm disappointed. I decided to go somewhere else. I paid $60 for a mediocre job and it sucks that I cannot see Ken anymore because of that experience at the salon. read more

called and made appt for fill and was told price was $30. had 3 nails off so they had to be replaced also. we are talking acrylic no gel polish. when leaving the price was $60. questioned the price twice just in case language barrier was the issue. no i was told since a few nails were replaced it was in fact $60. yet a full set of acrylics are $35 per phone. who knows after you're done. will never go back.....stay away! read more

I've been going here for over a year . The last two times same woman as done my nails and I have been extremely disappointed. Last time my nails were u even crooked and the shape was awful . This last time I decided to get a whole new set instead of a fill. Not only was it crooked again I asked to fix the shape to which I was told she's not done .. after all was said and done some were longer than others completely different shapes from each finger. Wasn't filed under my nail so acrylic caked underneath some to side of my nail and skin and lastly some nails so thick it was awful. Completely waste of 40. I will not be back sadly.
