It hits the spot. There's a good variety here which makes it easy to find something to eat. When you walk in, you'll be greeted with a menu full of gyro, shawarma and lamb at the front counter. If you walk further, you'll come across another station which displays a variety of Indian and Pakistani food items that you can sample before actually ordering. I personally chose from the menu at the second station because I was craving Indian food. They have two sides (rice and naan) to choose from and you can make a plate with two or three entrees. If you want more, you can definitely add another side or entree or both. There were only two vegetarian options so I wish they can at least one more thing however I got the chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer - both of which I really liked. While the saag paneer was good, I had one paneer in the entire serving so I hope they can add more paneer to that dish as well or if there is more paneer, then to serve it better. The rice was long grained and perfectly cooked while the buttery naan was fluffy. Last complaint, three of the four naan pieces were burnt and that is not a pleasant taste. All in all, it's a pretty good restaurant and I'm glad it's close to me because I will probably be coming back. read more

I am so thankful this place exists. This is likely going to be the top contender of restaurants in the DTC area for me when I go for lunch breaks. If you're a fan of Indian/Pakistani food, and/or also eat halal only. This is your palace. They serve over the counter, so you walk in, pick a plate of two or three main dishes and side (naan or rice) and they load your plate up right then and there. So not only is it perfect for lunch breaks time wise, the quality of food knocked me out of the park. I had their chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. They gave so much rice as a side item which was greatly appreciated as normally you get a little scoop of rice from other restaurants that include rice. What a lovely place. The outside seating was for perfect for the weather and social distancing. The workers wore masks and were so respectful of personal space. They give out bottled water and prepackaged silverware . The samosa chaat was hot fresh and oh so freaking good . Since I wanted the veggie samosas but ordered the samosa chaat instead, they gave me fresh veggies samosas on the house . The mutton curry was great and the mutton biryani was incredible, you get your money's worth as it's a lot of good food ; the only thing was that we wanted it spicy and it wasn't but other than that everything was great. read more

Desi restaurants/food usually sucks but this place has literally the most delicious desi food I have ever ate in all of America! Hands down have never tasted anything more heavenly at a desi restaurant. My family ordered samosa chaat, beef nihari, mixed kabob platter, chicken tikka paratha roll, and mango lassi - each dish was more and more exceptionally tasty. Not to mention that the staff were all very kind and had big smiles while serving/interacting with our table. Would rate this place more than 5 stars if I could! Read this as 3.5 stars. The food is outstanding and deserves 5 stars, but for the price, you can get a lot more food at a number of all-you-can-eat buffets nearby (specially for lunch). I went there for lunch a couple of days ago after reading all the great reviews on yelp. I got the 3Entrees+1 side for $9.99. For the side, I chose a garlic naan for which I had to pay 99 cents extra. A side of Rice cost an additional $1.99. The total came to $12.97 plus tax. For lunch, the cost does not compare favorably with other restaurants in the vicinity. The Saag Paneer was very authentic with a nice kick and no cream... which is exactly how it should be made -:) The Mushroom Jalfrezi and the Kadhi Pakora were delicious as well. The garlic naan was fluffy and freshly made. I loved the food and will definitely be back to try the Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala.
