I especially enjoyed the shrimp and butter, chicken, while my daughter enjoyed the mild chanamasala. Tl;dr Great food, service not so much We are always looking for new-to-us Indian spots and discovered this one tucked in the back of the 1Up parking lot. The scene: Saturday night around 7pm. Bright lights, open & clean space in a mostly empty restaurant. We're greeted quickly and seated next to the only other party. Comfy seats and the lighting made trippy shadows on our table. We settled in with the menu, which features almost a dozen regional curry varieties, most of which I have never seen in Denver. We noticed a very large family group seated in back celebrating something. Yay. Food: Rogan Josh proved delicious. "Medium" was an accurate heat level, not white people heat. Tandoori Chicken was heavy on the spices/coating and low on the charcoal flavor one expects, but I liked it. Just different. Samosas approached perfection. Hot, crispy on the outside and stuffed with veggies/spices. Garlic naan exceeded the usual Denver standard, Crispy outside, but overall, chewy with plenty of garlic, this stuff hit the spot. Spicy chai offered a substantial shot of flavor. Good stuff. Service: We were greeted quickly with waters on the table in no time. Staff were friendly and answered questions readily. However, after ordering our drinks, they were like ghosts who appear every now and then to remind people they exist. It was clear the four of them were focused on the large group by the toilets, but we were the only other people there by the time we ordered. We ordered chai and cokes with our food, then watched the staff serve and chat with the large group for 10 minutes, each looking over at us w a side eye at least once before one finally brought our drinks. While food often takes a while, we finished our drinks and were not able to get the attention of our server to refill until food came, maybe 25 minutes later. Don't get me started on how long it took to get to-go-boxes and pay. Overall, we enjoyed our food more than we felt ignored by the staff. Not sure they would be so inattentive again. 3.5 stars round up to four. We'd consider returning if in the area and had a lot of time. There are tons of interesting curries left to try. read more

We tried this place out when searching for local lunch buffets. Its buffet food was very Luke cool and fairly small and sparse. Service was a tad inattentive but we didn't need much so that was fine. The vibe internally is very vibrant and interesting. They also have a bakery and some baked goods for sale, we didn't try them but they looked interesting. Over all it was a disappointing visit and we knew we wouldn't be back for the buffet which had few dishes and mostly not warm or fresh. read more

Wish I could give this place more stars, the service was fantastic, super friendly and helpful with the menu. The portions are very big. They had an all u can eat Indian street food deal going on, so I tried that, I believe they do this Thursday evenings, we also had butter chicken, Shahi Korma, garlic naan and Punjabi samosas. I was visiting Denver for the weekend and wasn't expecting myself to get really good authentic Indian food there! I got the Karampodi dosa with masala, and my friend got the Mughlai curry with garlic naan. The dosa was some of the best I've ever had. My spice tolerance has gone down a little so the karampodi was insanely spicy for me, but I still ate through the spice because it was THAT GOOD! The Mughlai curry was also really good! It was spiced and a little creamy, which went perfectly with the naan. The service was really attentive and fast and I loved the interior of the restaurant! It was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area :) read more

We ordered the Rava Masala and Mysore Masala Dosa. The food was not good at all and the Mysore masala was overwhelmingly spicy. The dal was incredibly salty. Beyond the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor. The floor was extremely sticky and the bathroom was dirty. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet the staff made no effort to sweep or mop. This place was a fantastic find! We were searching for Dosas. Thought we would give this place a try. So happy we did. We ordered, Punjabi Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala Dosa, Chettinad Chicken, Kaju Curry with Lamb and Butter Chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered Samosas to go. That is how wonderful they were/are. They were out of Kulfi, but, truth be told we were all pretty full. A very satisfying dinner. The waiter was wonderful. Excellent service from all the staff. We got there at 5, so they were just opening. Flavors were not just " spicy " but deeply flavored. It is off Clinton in Greenwood Village. A little tucked around, but worth the find. read more

We came here with high hopes, but we're slightly disappointed... the food was ok - I was really wanting good street food and it was just alright. The menu was a little misleading... the samosa ragada was served with chick peas... so that's samosa chaat, NOT ragada which is made with white peas (which it even says in the menu). The sev puri tasted decent, but it really should be served on flat puris with a lot more sev (it's literally in the name of the dish), so that was also a little disappointing. Then to top everything off - we ordered some food to take home with us while still eating, and they didn't even start preparing it till we asked for the check, making us wait an extra 30 mins (and no, they were not busy). I literally had to go serve myself water because they just stopped coming to our table (probably because they knew they hadn't started our take out). So, I don't think we'll be coming here anytime soon - at least not to sit and enjoy a meal.... read more

I live Indian food and this place absolutely did not disappoint. The menu was large and I'm no expert, so I asked the server for his favorite and we settled on the Mughlai with lamb and the butter naan. I was absolutely blown away by the flavors. I asked for medium to spicy and the spice was a perfect compliment to the flavors. The quality was there and the quantity was more than I could handle too. The servers were attentive and helpful. I'm not sure what other things they have going on, but if the Mughlai is any indicator, this place is going to be a regular for me. read more

I ordered food to take out & ordered it over an hour before my pickup time. When I walked in about 10 minutes after my pickup time & asked it was clear they hadn't even started working on it so the lady said it would be 10 minutes. The restaurant at this time was nearly empty. A couple walked in after me & ordered some take out. After 20 minutes I asked the lady to please check on my order since far more than 10 minutes had passed. She came back & said it would be another 5 minutes. At this point I asked that she refund my credit card & I'd go elsewhere. She said the kitchen was busy, to which I pointed out that the restaurant was virtually empty. I said I'd wait another 5 minutes but if it wasn't ready by then I was leaving. At exactly 5 minutes they brought out my order & the order for the folks that came in while I was waiting. I pointed out to the lady that I had been waiting for over 30 minutes & she hadn't offered me even a glass of water & I would never return there. As for the food, it was reasonable but not close to being worth the wait. I'd rate it a 5-6. The service was non-existent & the ambiance inside the restaurant was extremely mediocre. Went in on a Friday night around 6pm and there were absolutely no other diners in the restaurant. That should have been the first red flag. Sat down and received our menus and they were tattered and beaten up. That was the second red flag. We went to order some drinks and each of us had to go through 2-3 beer selections before we could finally order as they were out of everything we tried to choose. I went to the bathroom and saw some very suspicious looking bug(s) in the back hallway and in the bathroom itself. That was the 3rd and final red flag. Unfortunately, my fiancee ordered an appetizer while I was in the bathroom. Upon getting back to the table I had accepted that I was going to eat the app but we decided to get our check and leave after we were finished. Once we asked for the check, we waited at least 10 minutes before we could cash out, and again we were the only people in the restaurant. We were actually outnumbered by the amount of staff they had there. Once I cashed out, I was shocked to see the total bill for 2 beers (1 larger one we would have never ordered if they had what the first 2 choices we made were in stock) and an appetizer was nearly $40 with tip. Outrageous. This restaurant is unclean, the food was sub par, and I have no idea how there are so many 5 star reviews. Needless to say I will never return again. read more

This hidden gem is great. They could use a sign that faces north. We were at 1UP and almost didn't see the place. Food was awesome. Service was great. The money spent was great.
