After an 11-day road trip, I was craving for authentic Indian food, and this place was the perfect homecoming! The Paneer Masala Dosa was exactly what I wanted--crisp and generously filled--and the Chicken 65 was a total hit. To top it all off, I realized the owners and I share the same hometown! It was such a treat to speak our native language and connect--I definitely didn't expect to find a piece of home way out here.

I ordered the lamb kebab 3 out of 4 spice level - not very spicy at all by my standards. Plenty of Indians eating here, so it must be authentic! Everything tasted great! Finished off with Gulab Jamun!

So far I have been here 5 times, and I swear this is some of the best food I've ever had. Their naan is SO good! It's also just a very clean and nicely laid out place. The workers have always been so nice to me as well :)

Great addition to the East Brainerd area. Good Indian food and super clean We tried the paapdi chaat gobi manchurian garlic naan mango lassi ghee dosa and masala dosa and lamb seekh kabaab. Everything came out good. I'm not keen on sambhar in general so can't comment on it. Didn't touch it but the coconut chutney with dosa was decent. Really clean restaurant which isn't always the case with Indian restaurants. The Bollywood music in the background adds to the experience. The spice level is varied. You can ask for it to be mild to Indian spicy and more. Only suggestion would be to make the masala dosa a little crispier so the filling doesn't make it soft. The man working the front desk was super friendly and kept checking to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Was open to suggestions Will be back Sunday to try few more things on the menu

Small place - hole in wall place. You need to stop if you like this kind of cuisine. A lot of people picking up the food but it's also nice to sit and eat there. Food is awesome... all flavors Team / owner doing everything. It's not a five star restaurant but the food was perfect for us.

What a delicious meal! We ate here for Mothers Day and it was such a treat. We love to eat at the Cleveland Naan House location, and we wanted to try the new street food items at this new location. There is a nice dining room for dining in, and the service was great and very attentive. Very convenient location on Gunbarrel. We had Pani Puri, Onion Pakora, Samosas and Tamarind eggplant. My kids loved the cheese Dosa, and it came with very good Sambar (spicy vegetable soup). We also had the Paneer Burji and of course Naan, Kerala Paratha, and mango Lassi. There are lots of options for vegetarians. The Tamarind eggplant was a standout! Looking forward to trying more Dosas, street food and wraps in the future! We'll be back!

Finally , Chattanooga has an Indian eatery that slaps! Naan house is fire, especially if you like it hot. Seriously though, the food is great, service is good (could improve a wee bit), and the prices are fair. Presentation is lovely too. We will be back, probably more than our waistlines would prefer.

Dined in and had a great experience. Food reminded me of eating at our friend's house--and that's a big compliment. Will be back.

Thankfully, the restaurant has been spruced up a bit with a new floor, ceiling, and some new tables. It's lighter and airier and certainly looks less dingy. The rolling cabinets housing the buffet chafing trays are fewer and smaller, so there are fewer items offered than what was customary for Dosa Hut's extensive buffet. I was a big fan of Dosa Hut and am happy to report that most, if not all, of the old menu items are still there, and a few new ones have been added. I see bhel puri, pani puri, samosa chaat, and several different biryani preparations among them, but I haven't sampled them yet. The emphasis is still on South Indian fare, so expect dosas, idli, and sambar. I don't know dosas from shinola and have hardly ever had them elsewhere, so I'm no expert, but I love the plain dosas I get there. They're huge, and paired with the accompanying coconut chutney and small bowl of sambar, it's a massive appetizer that often doesn't leave room for much else. My favorite dish is shrimp biryani. I tend to order it at every Indian restaurant I go to for comparison's sake. It's moist, spicy, delectable, and full of good-sized shrimp. I've never had better in the dozen or so Indian restaurants I've visited in the Southeast. Like its predecessor, I think Taj particularly excels in their vegetarian offerings, especially those with shredded paneer. So methi malai matar and paneer bhurji are our go-tos. We're also really fond of the kaju khoya. All three dishes are delightfully creamy, and we eat them over rice. I can't say I'm a fan of their saag dishes. They puree the spinach, and I'm not a fan of the texture, but from my reading, it's commonly prepared that way, so to each their own. I've been to their buffet once, but it was near the end of their lunch session, so I wasn't surprised that the offerings were getting a little old. Not going to hold that against them. Service is very attentive. For what it's worth, soft drinks are served in cans with a glass and ice, and there are at least a few bottled beers available. All in all, a great little place with a revamped menu and interior well worth checking out.
