I order the the Lamb Gyro on most occasions. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's the go to place for my heart health.

Delicious fast casual Greek/Mediterranean food. Order at the counter and have a seat indoors or outside, within 5-10 minutes the food is delivered by a runner. They do bring out appetizers first followed by the mains. Drinks are self service at a fountain. Coke products. The whipped feta is delicious, topped with honey and onions. It's a unique offering in the area. I don't think their kebab/kabob items are nearly as good as Kabobster. The seasoning is weak and the chicken and beef are dry. The lamb is very good however, and so is the tilapia. Salads are fresh and a good value for the amount served. Hummus is tasty but again not as good as other local options. Their stand out items to me are the aforementioned whipped feta (try it with veggies instead of the pita) and the super lemony red potatoes (side dish), for real they are tart!! Lemon lovers will rejoice. Food runners don't come back to check on the tables or offer drink refills as it's all self service, this isn't a criticism but just a heads up as you pay in advance and they do prompt you to tip at the point of sale, so adjust your tipping to suit yourself based on the level of service. read more

Half the time I go there, the meat is so dry that it's difficult to chew. This time when I went, I stood in line 20 mins. As I was placing my order, a manager said they would only allow takeout orders because the bathrooms weren't working. Why didn't they tell me that before I wasted my time in line? Did someone order dusty chicken? Chicken was so dry it turned to dust when you bit into it. So if that's your thing...you'll love it here! Basmati rice was buttery...which was odd. Falafels were really really gross. Not crispy, and flavorless. Zero effort to make them tasty. Bland mediterranean food? Cmon! Greek salad was pretty ok...i mean it had 5 or 6 toppings and decent dressing...nothing to write about. Lots of feta was a plus. The taziki sauce was actually delicious. Two stars for that alone. I mean essentially this is just overpriced microwaveable food. But chain greek restaurants really are hit or miss aren't they. Oh...and our meals all came with straight up ruffles with ridges potato chips! Someone should ask if we would like some pita for our 5 meals we got at a greek restaurant NOTHING came with pita on the side...mountains of ruffles!!! read more

Had my first Taziki's Grilled Fish Sandwich today for lunch - DELICIOUS! A fresh lightly seasoned mild tasting fish filet, pretty sure it was tilapia - a real fish filet, not a frozen brick of minced fish heavily breaded and deep fried. The sandwich was served with homemade Caper-Dill Sauce, tomato and lettuce on a grilled kaiser bun, with chips and fresh fruit as my side. Next time I will order the grilled fish feast - YUM! If you enjoy fish sandwiches, ditch the fast food and treat yourself to fresh food that is prepared when you order it, dine in or carry out. You will want repeats. read more

They cook most of the meat to order. So we had a 10 minute wait for our meals, but man is it worth it. The shrimp feast is my favorite meal anywhere. This is a go-to. Overall it's pretty healthy and cost under $25 for two. read more

I ordered the grilled lamb gyro (noted as the most popular dish) that came with chips and a 2nd side of choice. I picked the cucumber-tomato salad, which was excellent. The sandwich isn't gyro in the usual sense, but small bits of crisp meat packed into a pita with lettuce and tomato. Not the usual tzatziki sauce either. Although sloppy to eat, it was enjoyable. I had ordered a baklava for dessert, and that was a bit disappointing as the pastry layers were tough. I assume this was made quite a bit earlier and hadn't aged well. We were charged for an extra entree that we were able to get refunded. So we paid $40 for a burger that wasn't very good and wound up being trashed after 2 bites, a single gyro with meat chunks(??) on and a hand full off ruffles with oil drenched potato chunks. During quarantine my co-workers and I have made it our mission to support small/local businesses. One of my co-worker had suggested that he wanted us to celebrate his birthday at Taziki's Mediterranean Café and had teased us with pics of Mediterranean food. We googled the closest one to us and we came. Once we got here, face masks were required. They have hand sanitizers throughout the line. The staff are wearing masks. Once you figure out what you want and order, you pay with card and receipts can be sent to you via text or email. If you want refills, you need to request for a new cup. Once the food arrived, I was not disappointed at all! I had ordered the Hummus for my APPETIZER. The hummus - Pureé of chickpeas, tahini, touch of cumin, and lemon juice, served with soft or baked pita chips. For my MEAL, I ordered Grilled Chicken Sandwich which had feta cheese and grilled onions on a kaiser bun. My 2 sides were Fresh Cut Fruits and Roasted New Potatoes. I was very pleased with my order and it was filling. And I can't wait to go back to try other things on their menu. I will add that despite everyone being pleased with their food, we were disappointed on how things were handled when we requested a large table for 10 people. The employees were not willing to work with us at first and it got to the point management needed to be called. This whole process took way too long. We were following guidelines, we all had our masks. We didn't really understand why we couldn't use their large table that was available & was not blocked off due to social distancing. Ultimately, we were allowed to be seated. On that note, as a group, we don't believe we will be back here. Every Tuesday's, we routinely go to different local/small restaurants and we have never received the amount of hardship given to us by Taziki. My wife and I ate there at approximately 6pm tonight(1-27-24). After thirty minutes and no food, I went to ask about our order. Must have lost your order they said. It'll take about another 10-15 minutes for our order. No one said they're sorry or offered any explanations except the order must have been lost. That's not very good customer service in my opinion. Oooh I can't believe I've never been here. I've driven by it so many times, and I'm so glad I stopped after my workout. Not only are they quick to deliver your food, but it's great quality. Taziki's is located off Gunbarrel road near bb&t, in a big plaza with big lots and multiple other stores, and across the street from Walmart. You review the menu and place your order at the front counter. They then give you a number and you wait for them to bring your food out. I ordered the grilled chicken which came with a Greek salad and an additional side. I chose the rice which was so yummy. For the Meal it cost roughly $11 and you can tip when you check out or on the table when you finish. There's servers on the floor that all work together to clear the tables And assist you if you need anything. Overall super clean restaurant, good and healthy food, and fast service. Ahhh this place is great. As we were driving through Chattanooga around lunchtime, we specifically got off the highway for Taziki's (I had been to the downtown location several times, which is equally great, but a bit smaller). SETTING: "Fast casual" (as in wait in line at the door, order at the cash register, take a number, food is delivered to table). This particular location has a pretty big dining room, with booth seating along the sides and light earthy tones decorating the place. SERVICE: Again, "fast casual." And man, was it fast. Also everyone was polite, the waitress who dropped our food off asked if there was anything else we would like, and they thanked us for coming in. Manners aren't dead, people. FOOD: I destroyed my veggie gyro. There was this amazing pesto sauce in it, and whatever they marinate their veggies in is also awesome. My mom mentioned her lamb gyro was also very well-marinated (maybe in the same thing)? Meals came with a side and chips.
