Easy to place order by phone. Have ordered before when in town for business. Usually really good. This time the Tikka Masala was just okay - didn't seem to have as good of a flavor as I remember. And the garlic naan was not cooked all the way. It tasted doughy. Picture doesn't show it too well, but it wasn't cooked in the middle of the naan.

The food here is always on point! We love this little Indian treasure in the middle of a lot of chain restaurants! This is the first restaurant that has been able to make me like cauliflower lol! Great place for a date with the decor and lighting! Not a huge place but it's better that way!!

The food was incredible -- a true 10/10. I had the channa masala with garlic naan, and it was amazing. If you're looking for a great place to eat, this is definitely the spot.

Indian food is a tricky dilemma when trying to figure out where to eat. Most of the time when I venture into an Indian restaurant I end up with a. meal that is way too spicy. After reading rave reviews from this restaurant, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We went a couple hours after lunch so that we could relax without a crowd. Our server was extremely friendly and gave us recommendations on food and drink. I told him about my experiences with food that was too spicy. He laughed and said, "we're from Northern India where the food is perfect." Upon our server's recommendation, I ordered the Bhuna Lamb with a 2.5 spice level. I was not disappointed. The Lamb morsels were succulent, and the curry was some of the most delicious I ever tasted. It was so good in fact that I could've actually eaten the curry by itself and been very satisfied. My wife ordered the Chicken Biryani which she said was equally delicious. I also had a mango yogurt drink which paired perfectly with the spice in the curry. Garlic naan and bean chips with a sauce were also served. The amount of food was so generous that I had enough takeout for dinner that evening. We'll most definitely return.

This new Indian restaurant in Turkey Creek has excellent service and delicious food - some of the best Indian cuisine in Knoxville. While we waited for our entrees, the gracious server (originally from Northern India) surprised us with Papadum (cracker-ish bread made from lentils) and 2 dipping sauces: one of sweet mint and another with mango and onions, similar to chutney. Both tasted delicious. The chicken in my biryani was moist and tender, and the lamb in my spouse's bhuna was succulent and flavorful. The basmati rice -- cooked just right. Garlic naan accompanied our lunches. Although the restaurant is relatively small inside, it seats probably 100 diners at various-sized tables with chairs or in booths that line the walls. The dinner menu has a much more extensive menu, so we will return to try other options.

Best Indian restaurant in Knoxville and will return. This is a family owned restaurant and has traditional Indian food. The Bollywood videos in the background tops it off to let you know this is an Indian spot. Indian food actually made by Indians Waiter was very attentive and other employees assisted as needed. Things to try: 1. Nashville cauliflower. Spicy and nice flavors. More of their version of nashville flavor but very good ! 2. Vegetable Masla, stuffed myself it was so good 3. Chicken biryani 4. Mango Lassi- best I ever drank Outside of being a small restaurant, no Cons. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best Indian food I've had in the Knox County surrounding area. 1 dish is enough to feed 2-3 people - and I wanted to try multiple dishes, so I definitely had to ask for takeout containers and even then I had lunch and dinner for the next couple days covered! I went during dinner hours, but they do offer a buffet everyday from 11am to 3pm - which I will try next time to try more flavors at an even more affordable cost. Food did not come out extremely fast - so a good sign that it is freshly made to order and not just reheated frozen sauces with protein thrown in. The kababs came out sizzling and biryani came out steaming! The lamb was not gamey at all. The hospitality was quick and pleasant also!

Every dish was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Indian food can be hit or miss sometimes, but this place? Oh, it's a solid HIT. The atmosphere is spotless and inviting (which matters more than people admit), and the staff? Top tier. Super kind, attentive without hovering, and quick to bring anything we needed before we even had to ask. Honestly, this is the kind of place that ruins other Indian spots for you--in the best way. Safe to say, I'll absolutely be back... probably sooner than I should be.

My…read morehusband and I shared the Rom's Fast Fix-A-Quick Delicious Small Bite with marinated beef, and it was fantastic. The beef was juicy and tender, practically melting in your mouth with every bite. The seasoning was spot on--flavorful without overpowering the natural richness of the meat. It paired perfectly with the rice, which was light and fluffy, creating a great balance of textures and flavors. The only thing that could have elevated the dish even more would be a little extra sauce to mix into the rice. That would have brought the whole dish together, but even without it, the flavor was still on point. Overall, it's a great spot for a delicious HALAL option, and I'll definitely be back to try more next time we drive through Knoxville. Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5

There was only one guy working at the stall when we ordered our food so it understandably took a little longer to get our food but it was totally worth it. We ordered Rom's Bowl - which is chicken, beef, and veggies over rice. Then the bread is baked over the bowl essentially creating an edible lid. It was served with a side salad with a lovely salad dressing. I think it had sumac in it but don't quote me on that!Although this was my first time eating Afghan food, the food felt familiar to me. The rice dish was similar to biryani (but not spicy) and the bread was a cross between a pita and naan. I can't wait to go back!

I've been disappointed by every single popular recommendation. I can get much better pancakes, steaks, biscuits, ice cream, donuts, and pork in Chicago. This place was a much welcomed change from the usual tourist long line, overhyped fare. The flavors were incredible. The chicken was tender. The lentils were delicious. The cilantro jasmine rice was a bit dryer than I like my rice to be and needed the sauce to work, but I was cutting back on my carb intake, so I didn't finish the huge portion of rice they gave me. Oh and the food comes a bit spicy. Maybe that's way locals aren't patronizing this place, but if you can tolerate the spice, this place is must try! Think a more spicy and saucy version of chipotle for anyone who's never tried Indian food before. Service was standard, atmosphere was roomy and clean, I would even go so far as to say bare. They may benefit from adding some art work to the walls. Bathrooms were standard as well. You wouldn't know you were in a fast casual Indian restaurant if it weren't for the music playing and the smell of spice when you enter.
